So yesterday the boarder that is leaving horse ran me over. This is a problem horse and has always been a problem but before I was the trainer now I am not so there is only so much I can do. I emailed the owner to let her know. this is the email that I sent.

Quote:

HORSE ran me over today. I was trying to take a horse out of the field and he would not back up and came right over me.

You will need to do something with him, as I am not your trainer any more it is not my place to fix the problem. I will have to put him in a privet pen and you will have to pay the difference if you are not able to fix the problem in the next 2 days. I am not trying to be hard but I can not get hurt and I don't want any one else to get hurt. I know this is the last thing you want to deal with but something has to be done.

This is the response I got back from her.

as we both know having HORSE in a pen by himself is a recipe for disaster.
If you would identify a pen that both HORSE2 and he could go into on
Thursday morning it would be appreciated.  I will move them myself prior to
Dr. XXXXXXX arriving to do their vaccinations.  I do no want your help
that day and think it best if you do no interfere with my vet appointment.
Oh, and I have moved up the moving date for my horses, they will be leaving
on the 26th so on that day you will receive a money order for $ 130.78
($98.98 remaining board til the 7th of July & $ 31.80 for 9 days in the pen
X 2 horses)

Oh, and FYI, you still have a piece of equipment that I picked up so you can
either return it to me or re-imburse me the cost of the 6" french link loose
ring bit (purchase cost $ 19.15 + GST for a total of $ 20.30).

So I know what type of person this is because I have had to listen to her bitch and complan about other people for the last 2 yrs. So I sent her this reply to her last one.

Quote:

As I would not interfere I don't think it will be a problem. But I have lessons that day and will have the barn full so you will have to do everything outside. You can move then to the pen by the hay stack.

FYI, I have come across a few other things that are yours and I put them in the back of your trailer. And if you are going to be a bitch to me when I have done nothing wrong then you can just move your horses on Thursday morning when you come and be done with it.

I know my last email is petty but I am just so tired of her sh!$. I just need to vent.

Actually the end of your last email made me laugh. Sometimes you have to just say it like it is. :teehee:

I can totally understand why BO's get fed up with these types of boarders. :psycho:

I just watched her horse take down the fence that I just fixed 10 mins ago from the last time the last time he went through it. I am so fedup :brickwall: Please under stand that this is a cross fence that keeps them from the big field, but still a hours of work from to day and 2 hrs for the other day where I had to replace fence posts. :soapbox: :brickwall: :mallet:

Fortunately we presently have a houseful of "Excellent, and Considerate" Boarders here. :one: However, we too have gone through a few "Bad Apples", who we had to explain, that "the road went BOTH ways". :brickwall:
Our stalls in the Main Barn are off a 150' Aisle. One of the previous Boarders actually cut down the new crossties in front of her stall, and put up new "blue crossties" to match her tack colours. THEN PROCEEDED TO SCREAM AT THE OTHER BOARDERS AND LESSON FOLK THAT DARED TO USE ...."HER PERCEIVED PROPERTY." This was only one of many actions this ANAL gal attempted to pull, before we finally suggested she find somewhere more suitable for her Horse and self. Just before a trailer appeared to take her Horse to the new abode, I saw her removing the crossties, and informed her that unless she replaced them with our other new crossties....that the ones presently there would not be leaving. :censored: After quite a verbal debate she finally went out to load her horse, and I had to answer a telephone at the far end of the barn. When I came back down the aisle, i noticed the blue ropes were still there........however.....she had gone back in and cut off the snaps, along with about 2' of rope from each side, which made the crossties unusable. :censored: (Fortunately she had quickly pulled out, which stopped me from getting arrested for stuffing a couple lengths of rope....right up her :censored: .)
Life is too short to get worked up about this kind of stuff. :mallet: Thank goodness the "Great Boarders" are in the majority to make dealing with the public worthwhile. :rose:

Eleanor,
I would tell (not ask) her that she needs to move her horsesby the end of the weekend - period.

You do not need this stress. :pissed:

Kick her sorry Tom butt outta YOUR barn!

Bri, sounds like a good idea. I would if she was here every day but she doesn't come out unless she has to. She doesn't want to spend any more time around me then she has to because I am a nasty person that told her if she is not happy to move.  Life goes on. :innocent: :one:
