This is Jasper, aka Liberty Card. He's a full TB by my stallion Navy Bird and out of my wonderful mare, Fancy (Young Man's Fancy). I'd like to keep this one for myself, but hubby is saying sell, sell, sell :pissed: I've already sold Fancy's 2005 baby so you'd think he'd be happy <_<

Anyway, Jasper is a yearling now. I'd like to show him at Upperville this year.

Talk about chestnuts with chrome! what a cutie he is, and such a sweet expression too. Good thing he is not a filly, or I would be calling you up!

How handsome. Is his mane light or is it just the picture?

How cute is he? I love how his little ear tips point to each other. Is that a baby thing you think, or will they stay like that. They make him look very inquisitive and bright.

I think he will keep them because his Dad has the same thing.

He does have a very light mane and tail. The JC even put "Flaxen mane and tail" on his papers as one of his "marks".

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm especially proud of him because he is the result of breeding my own mare and stallion and I really thought they would complement each other. She's by Regal Classic and out of a Cox's Ridge mare and Indy is by Forest Wildcat and out of a Polish Navy mare. Tons of racing black type, but all nicely built horses with good conformation. Both mare and stallion have wonderful temperaments and Jasper is just like them. I'd like to breed Fancy back to him this year as she was open last year, but I'll definitely have to sell one to make room!
