The UK to be exact. Is this completely against the rules? They have better prices over there on the GPA's and I just want to know if you can get in trouble for buying one and showing in it.I'm guessing not because when the Europeans come to our country it's not like they go out and buy a new helmet.

Someone must know the answer???

As long as it's ASTM certified, it should be okay.
They may be better priced, but your going to have to add shipping/handling charges. And wait awhile for it to arrive.

I saw this on another board, might be something to check first:

Helmets Purchased Overseas May Not Be Certified

Customers who purchase GPA riding helmets in Europe or from Web sites based overseas may be buying helmets that do not meet ASTM/SEI certificiation.
A warning on the topic was issued this morning by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).

"Helmets purchased in Europe, from online stores in Europe, or possibly from EBay, if the helmets originally came from Europe, may not meet the ASTM/SEI standard as required by USEF (regulations)," a spokesman said. "Riders should check the buckles of their GPA helmets to see if there is an SEI logo on it and they should also check the inside of the helmet which should carry the SEI certification tag in it. If it does not appear there, then the helmet should not be used in USEF licensed competitions."
