I've retired my custom full chaps for the season, too.
Like SnackPack, I feel like it's a good thing because I do feel more slippery in my breeches and half chaps. I have the ones that look like tall boots (Ariat Crowne Pros). Indy (and anyone else who has them), please post pics of your pretty custom half chaps!! I'd love to see them. I won a pair of custom chaps as high point rider from a show series last season. I want to get custom half chaps since I already have full chaps, but I'm frozen with indecision! I want something fun and pretty, too! At the rate I'm going, I won't have them before it's time to be back in my full chaps! I'm thinking maybe brown with fringe and conchos and snakeskin and turquoise piping, or something wacky like that. Of course that would necessitate buying brown paddock boots
