A new baby this afternoon!!!

A buckskin filly with a blaze and four white socks! She is out of a TB mare. This is a repeat cross, and I just saw a picture of the yearling from last year and he is stunning!

This is only Mardi's third buckskin filly -- there have been gobs of buckskin colts, but not so many fillies. And one of those I posted a few days ago on here and she is going to turn grey. So this one is unique. :)

Her owners report that "she is just gorgeous and perfect"! Awwwwww..... isn't she cute?!! :cloud9:

I took some new pictures today! All are purebred Section B Welsh.

Here is the colt that REALLY needs a name!!! Just have not found that perfect one that fits him yet. In spite of him being the wrong gender, I am quite smitten with him. He is his dam's best foal to date.

Here is Pixie -- she will be the foundation for my daughter's own Welsh breeding program. I'm very excited that she wishes to continue with what we have started.

Clanfair Queen Anne's Lace - I really like this girl. She is very substantial. Can't wait to see her all grown up!

I'm up tonight on foal watch.... waiting on one of my favorite mares, *Holyoake Sonique. She had a gorgeous palomino filly for me last year -- can't wait to see what I get this time!!! I'm having trouble waiting patiently. Her Chemetrics test jumped almost 100 points between this morning and this evening.....

Beautiful foals, they all look great! Good to have a place where brags and pictures of babies are allowed. The good news can equilibrate the sad news here.

What a stunning stallion you have and beautiful babies! :jaw: If my little 15.1hh Anglo Arab mare weren't already going to a warmblood I would be seriously looking at your guy for a sport pony cross. He's..... <3 <3 <3

What a bunch of cuties!! Perhaps I could smuggle one of them on the farm. They're a little smaller and easier to hide from hubbies....right?? :innocent:

Yes, that's a fact. LOL Smaller and easier to hide! Who is going to notice one of those cute pony faces out there among the horses! LOL

Thanks everyone for your kind comments! I'm just thrilled with all of them, and we just had another at 4 am this morning! Palomino filly with a blaze and socks! SOOOOOOO cute!

I will post pictures soon!

Just a question..

why is there a "*" before his name?

He's a spectacular stallion. Very striking.

Ah yes, the *. That took me awhile, but it means he is imported.

Thank you everyone!!!!

La Gringa, yes, the "*" denotes an imported pony. :)

We have a new filly, born at 4 am this morning. Palomino with a blaze and some number of socks that I have yet to determine. She's a DOLL! Follows you around whinnying. Awwww....

I took these tonight in the dark stall, so forgive the funny eyes and weird angles, I will get better pictures in the next couple of days.

Her dam is one of my most favorite mares, *Holyoake Sonique, who had a palomino filly last year for me too!

So here she is.... Clanfair Malibu Barbie :cloud9:

I'm on foal watch AGAIN tonight. The mare just checked at a Chemetrics level of 350, so I'm hoping she'll go soon!!!

Here is our new colt, born May 3rd, right around midnight.

He is Section B Welsh, foaled buckskin, but will turn grey. He already has the grey goggles around his eyes, so there wasn't even any deluding myself for a moment that he might stay buckskin! He's the first buckskin we've ever had (TONS for mare owners, none for us, go figure), but he is a lovely colt, and I'm very pleased with him.

Still thinking on a name for him. So far absolutely nothing has come to mind. Funny how some of them are SO easy to name and others are so NOT. lol
