After wanting them for a while I just got a pair of the Ariat Tek Denim breeches and I love them! I should have gotten them sooner! I like to ride in jeans and half chaps but sometimes the jeans rub at the top of the half chap on the inside of my knee.. these are so comfortable, even more than my ariat breeches because they are very stretchy and they look just like you are wearing jeans! Does anyone else have these?

I don't have them yet, but have been wanting a pair. You may have convinced me.
I wear my jeans out way to fast, not to mention my saddle.

I was hoping they'd be more jean-y and less breech-y, althoughI"ve never seen them in person. But I found this link!!!! go me! http://www.heritagesaddlery.com/proddetail...LowRise&cat=214 |

How "low" is the low rise? In the pic on Dover's site, they look pretty darn low. I like a "just below waist" low rise, rather than "just above crack". Would those work for me? |

I got them from that link you posted OnyxThePony  . I do not think they are very low, they were about 1-2" below my belly button, higher than my low rise jeans, and I also usually wear a size long but the ones I got were only a regular and still were not too low. They sit where the ariat low rise breeches do. |

Do you actually use them with tall boots or still with half chaps? |

I've ridden with them wearing both.. they have that same stretchy panel on the bottom of the calf that the ariat breeches have, its very comfortable under tall boots.

I tried them on and liked them ... but for us short people they run really long - apparently they are not available in short so I had to pass |
