Thanks guys, I'm so lucky to have got this place, I still have to pinch myself sometimes!
It needs a lot of work doing, but then again it wouldn't be much fun if there was nothing for me to do.
I want to put some hanging baskets up in the yard (out of horsie reach obviously) to brighten the place up a bit, does anyone have any recommendations for pony- friendly plants?

I know impatients are edible- my mother puts them on my birthday cake! Plus they come in all sorts of lovely colours!

I lived in the UK for a couple of years which is why I asked :) Was based in Oxford. My husband is English and we met when I was doing my OE back in '95. :)

Cocktail Recipes:
Strawberry daiquri: Bacardi and Bacardi daiquri mix and strawberries.

Advice: Little kids will come. Make sure you have a child safe enviorment (other than the horses of course!)
