AP- I just got our registration form yesterday. But I "spoke" to Sue (via email) and they are holding our place! I am so excited!! :)

Melliebay - I am glad that Frank's recovery is continuing nicely. I am sorry that we won't see Colin again, he was a superstar at the GM clinic. :)

Yay! Looking forward to seeing you guys. OK, so you are bringing your Geoff Teall book for me to peruse and I'm bringing you my Eq vids.

Sure thing! I am almost done with GM Btw Rounds. I have leafed thru GT's book cover to cover, but haven't read it word for word yet. I will get that done before the clinic, so if you want to take it for awhile you can. I am so excited about the videos!!

If it rains in May, I will have an indoor "lesson", that will be fun!

I sent an email asking if I could enter the clinic and she said she had "very few spots left"...hopefully they still have room in the 3'6" + section. I'd really love to go. My trainer trains with Kim Prince when she shows my Jumpers so I think it'd be realluy neat to see the similarities between Katie's teaching style and her student's teaching style.

I really hope there's room!

Oooh, I hope you get in, Anticipation! You would think the 3'6" spot would be one of the harder ones to fill, I would love to meet you and your horse!

no, Maizy is being bred to Judgement :)

I have a 6 year old mare that I imported in December named Solitaire. She's still a bit green, but she's an extremely powerful horse...and I definitely would love to have Katie give me some help with her!
There are "several spots left" in the 3'6" and up section.

She's pretty cool. Still really green...she was only broken to ride 2 years ago. I went from a tiny horse that went at the speed of sound...to a huge horse that I have to wear 2 inch spurs with. Huge difference! It's taking me some time to figure her out...that's why I thought taking the clinic might help. Still having a hard time adjusting a 16.3h horse's stride! My hunter is 15.3 and Maizy is 16h!

Wow, I can't believe Maizy is only 16h, but it must be that you are so tiny that makes her look big. And that great step and scope she has, doesn't hurt either!

Can't wait to see your new one either, only a few more weeks!! :)

I know! I can't wait. I can't wait to do another clinic....the only clinics I've ever taken are the 1 GM clinic in 2005 and a few clinics with my agent from Holland. I'm SUPER excited.

will you all be riding? or just auditing?

Just auditing. I shouldn't say, just, b/c I love auditing, you really learn alot, and can focus on more of the horse/rider combinations, since you aren't having to focus on yourself and your horse, etc, get alot out of each exercise and all the sessions, aren't busy with your horse before and after, etc. But with all that said, would loved to be riding....

Everything I have now (2 more coming the week before the clinic) are super green, so not the right time for them....maybe GM later this year. :) I was going to bring a Han mare of a clients in NC but they have a conflict. :( She is a great mare and it would have been really good for her.

See everyone soon! I hope the weather is nice. Has anyone been to the farm that is hosting? Is it nice?? Good seating or is BYOC?
