Nameplates for my assorted tack items

So, I've decided that it's a good idea to mark all of my tack. I've done all the bridles before, but I've never done the girths myself. I've never even where one would put a nameplate on a girth that has elastic on both ends, or on those Professional's Choice synthetic girths.

I have two belly guard girths that need name plates, and two Professional's Choice synthetic girths that need to be marked somehow, and preferrably without the use of permanent maker. How/where would one attach nameplates on such items? I'm happy to use those small round tags on the buckles, but always feel like they are much more easily removed.

Also, I've never put them on a girth myself... on my bridles, the chicago screws go all the way through to the other side, but how do you do that with a girth?

On girths you typically put them on the leather right beneath your elastic, on the side you mount, the left side, or you can put them in the middles of the girth.

For the pro choice girths they unvelcro so you could even put a nameplate on the outer part of the synthetic material (not the neoprene) in the same spot, then when you put the neoprene back on it won't touch the horse.

Hope that made sense, it is sort of hard to explain.
