really super padded squishy saddle? not for me, for a friend with a previous (and serious) tailbone/thigh injury. she needs a squishy, very padded seat, and some big comfy knee rolls. price really isnt a problem for her, but i doubt she would spend 6g's on a saddle, if you get my drift. any advice? I'm talking PILLOWS here.... lol

I know there's at least one model of HDR saddle that has some very cushy kneerolls. I don't remember what the seat was like, but there are always sheepskin seatsavers. ;) I think most HDR saddles are under $1k, so not the greatest saddle in the world, but from what I've seen of them, they look fairly decent. I have an HDR bridle (not the lowest line but the next one up) that I've been quite happy with.

Maybe the HDR Rivella?

I own an HDR Rivella D, it's super comfy with very padded knee rolls. It's very forward flap fits my long leg great, and the wide tree fits a variety of horses. I definitely recommend it for someone that ones a "cushy" saddle.

I love cushy saddles.

I've had a PJ, and right now I have a Devoucoux Biarritz, both very comfy.

But I just ordered a CWD, which is also super comfy, and after riding in my trainer's - I think it puts my leg in a slightly better position.

All very comfy, though!
