How do you guys label your dark horsey items? Obviously saddle pads can be monogrammed and such, but what about black polo wraps and leather boots...things like that? I'm usually pretty good about keeping all my stuff in its place, but I just don't want it to get it all lost in the shuffle. Thanks PS I LOVE the smileys! Much better than at TOB. |

I've used a White-Out pen to label black polos before. They can be a bit gloppy to write with, but they get the job done and are seems to be durable. I don't think I would use it on leather boots, unless it's on a rubber lining or something. |

All leather stuff get your self some leather tools and then you can put your name on anything that is leather, doesn't stand out in the ring but you can easily tell up close. |

For dark colored polos, try using white or grey puffy fabric paint. Works like a charm and lasts! |

I put them thru my sewing machine and put my horses initials, S.S.J you cant see on the polo's cause I use one end, by the time you wrap there is no sign of the initials... My leather boots, my B.F has an engraver he uses and puts the same initials on them, or I use a bright marker to initial them in a corner on the boot... |

If the sharpie doesn't work - try nail polish on hard materials. I use it on my brushes and eskadron boots (small initials on the hard part) and it doesn't come off in the washing macine. |

No relation. It's just a name I came up with off the top of my head. I also use this name over in COTH. |

I loves me some Silver Sharpie.
Works like a charm.I also have been known to get engraved dog tags for things like blankets that need extra labeling. |

For the Eskadrons, I've always written my initials in normal black Sharpie on the little grey flexible part by the top of the boot. The leather stamps are great for everything leather... I need to buy a set and label every bridle piece I own! |

I love the silver Sharpies, but you do have to relabel things regularly. The silver wears off much more so than the ink from black Sharpies. |

I went to Michael's and bought paint pens-- a black one and a silver one. They work on everything! |
