Reminds me of the hilarious Saturday Night Live skit with Alex Baldwin-on a faux NPR-ish type radio show talking about the great holiday balls he makes. :teehee:  I forget his character's name  (was it Sweet?) but it was just too funny- conversation/interview went a lot like the OP. I have no idea how they kept a straight face through out the skit.

This skit? You'll have to live through the advertisement first...

Well, I just got a couple of Jimmy's Balls in the mail, along with some promotional literature.

I'm not quite sure how to say this. As a mother, I can't even get the words out without feeling sick to my stomach.

My daughter licked one.

And she said they taste great.

There. I've said it. OMG, I feel so dirty. :o She didn't even tell me until it was all over. Where did I go wrong?

I'm going to hang one of them in my horse's stall tomorrow and see how he does with it. I'm taking it away from my daughter. NOW. She's grounded until she's twenty.

For all you nutritionists out there, the balls are primarily made of ground corn, sugar, corn syrup, oats, soybean meal, soybean hulls, and vegetable oil, along with vitamins A (1,000 IU/lb), D and B12. Calcium, Phosphorus, Copper, Selenium, Zinc, L-Lysine and Thiamine too. Other stuff in there but I didn't list it all, nothing that appears it might test. 5% protein, 1.5% fat, 4% fiber.

I'm going to see if a couple of stores around here will start carrying them, if anyone else wants to see them in their local shops just let me know so I can ask Jimmy to get one of his reps there.

On the instructions, does it tell you how you should hang your balls? High? Low? :cheer: :one:

the SNL skit was about "sweaty balls" if I remember correctly, when I catch it in reruns I still laugh histerically while my fiance looks at me like I am loco. (well, I am loco but it is too late for him to run now!) :teehee:

Should you them them in a knot? Should you tie them in a bow?

Hah! This thread certainly caught me eye! I'd love to hear some more, ahem, legit feedback on UNCLE JIMMY'S BALLS because I have a very bored horsey!

This board has totally made my day :P

I still haven't hung the sample ball in our horse's stall, but when I was walking down the aisle with it one of the mares did her level best to follow me, much to the dismay of her handler. She wanted that ball (the mare, not the handler) more than anything. I've never seen her so interested in a treat.

Jimmy had a meeting with a major vendor recently (I'm not going to say the name, no you can't make me, no way :innocent: ) and I believe he got the account. However, he's going to have to change the name to something more G rated for them. The new name isn't nearly as much fun.

I doubt he'll market them under two names, so get your Balls while they're hot.

LOL I'll be heading to the trade show in VA this weekend with the tack shop I work at. It looks like Uncle Jimmy will be there it says, I guess he will have a new name for his balls then. We just got a big order of his balls in at the tack shop, I think people especially like them because of the name, stinks he is changing it. It's actually really funny they don't like his name, poor Jimmy!

I'm sure he would much rather his name not be liked rather than his balls. :teehee:
