Now that I have your attention..... :teehee:

You know, I could never have started this topic on TOB. Oh wait, maybe I can't do it here either. Please don't shuuuuuuunnnnn me......I can't get shuuuuuunnned on my very first post!

Has anyone tried this product? I understand it was written up in the November PH, and it's in the January Equus. They're supposed to hang in the stall, like Likits. I don't have copies of either mag so I don't know what was said.

http://www.jimmysballs.com/

Turns out Jimmy is a pilot who flies with my brother. They're on a long layover in Phoenix right now, and my bro called me and put Jimmy on the line to talk to me about his balls. Because of the background noise I wasn't able to get just what Jimmy's balls are made of, but I did get something about 12% and sweet feed.

Before I go any further I should point out that my hubby could only hear my half of the phone conversation. All he heard me say was "so what are your balls made of?" and "that sounds great" "sure, I'd love to try them" and for awhile there I wasn't sure where I would be sleeping tonight.

Anyway, at Jimmy's request I may be trying to give his balls some exposure. My husband, oddly enough, is okay with this. Before I help Jimmy, I want to know what people think of his balls. If you've tried them, please let me know! He only markets them through retail and he's pretty much doing this on his own, this is not an advertisement so please don't email him and ask to order them; I'm just looking for some opinions on his balls.

I got to say "balls" more in this post than I ever have in my life. Life is good.

Let the festivities begin....

LOL, yes many laughs with Jimmy's ball, when we got them in at the tack shop everyone could not stop making jokes about them.

They have sold extremely well at our tack shop we are on our 3rd order of them we keep running out! People love them and they aren't cheap either but we sell a ton, I have not tried them but would like too.

I still cannot get over the website: :point: www.jimmysballs.com, when I had to order some more balls one day I was a bit hesitant of opening the site it sounds like some kind of porn site LOL, sorry but I just had to say it, it is a great product though!

So I assume that Uncle Jimmy's Balls are good for mares AND geldings? I'm not sure how I feel about my boys licking Uncle Jimmy's Balls, but I guess if they enjoy it there's no harm...

I've seen Uncle Jimmy's Balls on display before, but I just walked away after a few awkward and uncomfortable glances. I'm going to stick with things the kids will want to lick rather than bite.

I got one for my boy for Christmas. He loved it, but he didn't lick it; he bit it!
Unfortuantly the ball was gone in a day. Oh and they do leave quite a sticky mess on one's face....... :P

So true! And I'm ashamed to admit that in a moment of extreme cheesiness, I asked Jimmy if his balls hung low, and could he swing 'em to and fro. I'm prolly the hundredth person to ask him that, you think?

And you asked him that with a straight face? I wouldn't have been able to get through the entire question. :teehee:

Did you ask if they got hairy after hangin' around for a while? The longer they hang, the more hair they get.

How do you explain to the children at the barn that those are Jimmys Balls hanging in the stall for the horses oral enjoyment?? :innocent:

I have not allowed my horses to eat said balls but one of the Boarders did and her mare enjoyed it very much. Agreed about the sticky mess it makes on their faces.

What about the potential for embarassing picture captions "This is Easter licking Jimmys Balls "

My husband seems to think that if you leave them in a closed area for too long, they'll get moldy. Oh wait....

Picture captions! Maybe Jimmy could have a contest.

Or can you imagine the questions you might ask of the vet? "Molly hasn't touched her balls in days." Vet---"uuuhhh...is there something I should know about your mare?" Or "Jack seems to be feeling better lately. Can I give him his balls back?"

Or, you could go into your horse's stall, peer around for a bit, and then yell "HEY! WHO STOLE MY HORSE'S BALLS?" A sure way to make people start talking about you behind your back.....

Or...how about asking your vet - "Is it a good thing or bad thing that my gelding likes to lick his balls?" Now that'll confuse 'em! :teehee:

Reminds me of the hilarious Saturday Night Live skit with Alex Baldwin-on a faux NPR-ish type radio show talking about the great holiday balls he makes. :teehee: I forget his character's name  (was it Sweet?) but it was just too funny- conversation/interview went a lot like the OP. I have no idea how they kept a straight face through out the skit.
