I am apparently not "enabled" nor do I "have permission." As seems to be my lot in life! |

Did you validate your membership by clicking on the link in the email that was sent by the board? What kind of picture do you want to post? An avatar? Or a picture in a post? All members can do both. Typically when you get that message it means the picture is too large. An avatar can be 100x100 pixels - no larger than 25Mb when uploaded from your computer. |

hmmm...I didn't even get to the pic part, I was just told I didn't have permission. Of course, I am pretty cyber clueless. Edited to add, of course, if you fo to the correct part of the control panel, and you figure out what avatar means, then maybe you can upload a pic. |

The regular members do not have the attachments capability. However if you have your pictures posted on something like webshots or photobucket you can copy the IMG tag in it's entirety and paste it in your post. If the IMG tag is not available on your photo hosting site click the IMG button at the top of the posting window put the URL in the text box --> click OK Then close the tag. A closed tag looks like this [/IMG] |

Ok, I got my avatar to work by uploading it from my puter... but if I want to post pix directly into a post I have to link it to a server where the pix lives? It that correct? (In other words, I can't upload pix from my puter directly into a post???) Sorry to be so dense! Thanks! |

No you can't upload directly from your computer. We don't have a lot of server space for pictures. Get a free account at Photobucket and upload your pictures there. They even provide a IMG tag that all you have to do is copy and paste it right in your post. |
