I have a jimmy's as well! Just sold my Pariani. Stole both off of ebay, it's a damn shame the jimmys is so pretty because it just makes my heart stop when I ride in it, and the Pariani was a cross country saddle with super forward flaps so it put me in a nice chair seat. I need to sell the Jimmys at some point but I am afraid someone will not respect the quality and love it as much as I have loved it (it is a lovely saddle). |

I have one saddle for one ponone, but I hate the way it fits him. Really, it doesn't fit him. I've been using one of my college's many Bates CC Caprilli or whatever it's called. He is MUCH happier in that saddle. Mine is an older-than dirt Crosby Olympia that is about a 1/2" too small for my derriere and I'd like to get rid of it...I'm on a mission for finding a used Forestier...those are my FAVORITE saddles ever! |

At the moment, we've got one saddle for each horse actually in work. Two TCs for me, one Butet for my sister. |

I had a Tad Coffin for my hunters and a L'Apogee for my jumpers. I sold the Tad Coffin and now I just ride in the L'Apogee and it fits every horse I have. Thank goodness! |

I have two saddles -- a County Stabilizer and a County Innovation. I bought the Stabilizer 4 years ago when I was riding/showing my Apendix QH. Of course it didn't fit the TB I bought 2 years ago, so that's how I ended up with the Innovation. I kept the Stabilizer because we still have the QH (my daughter rides him now). It's also the saddle I use to ride all horses other than my TB. |

Some horses (ponies) are more sensitive than others. My older horse - now semi retired - was only happy in his Tad Coffin. I have ridden my young horse in four or five different saddles and honestly he really couldn't care less. *I* worry about it far more than he does! However - if you find the beval pad makes a difference, I'd be careful not to ride without it. No point in making one back sore unnecessarily. |
