I work in reverse. Zero Saddles, One Horse. I sold my saddle to a friend and had to borrow it back to ride. She didn't have the money to pay me and I don't have the extra lying around for another, so we're just waiting. I still call it her saddle though. |

Too many saddles. But, I *needed* two saddles for Bailey when we were eventing. Bailey has two- County Competitor dressage and True Brit close contact Skipper has one- Collegiate Sr. event Iago has none really- he uses Bailey's Then we have two spare English saddles: an ancient Antill CC and another Collegiate Sr. event. Then there's the pieceofcrap western saddle that we still have for some unknown reason. Total- 6 saddles for 3 horses. |

I like to have 2 saddles at a time. Beast child outgrew her pony saddle that I bought for her LAST yearis using my PDN until I get back from Ocala. Then she is getting my Old Pessoa which has the extra blocks she needs to stay on as her new horse has a leeetle more jump than she is used to. My out of date saddles get donated to the lesson program. I plan to get a new saddle, or order one while I am down there. My current Pessoa they don't even make any more, but it has extra seatbelt options that I needed back in the 80's when I had a particularly crafty, fast turning, speed demon of an AO Jumper. My butt is bigger now, and I need a new saddle with the same options, plus an airbag so Yak doesn't knock me out.

Right now I only have one saddle - my Amerigo Vega. But by the time Vanadiun is done maturing, I will probably have to buy another. My Vega fits him really well right now, but he is a 4 year old Dutch warmblood - chances are, he's gonna get wider. |

Hi my name is countryhawk and I am a bit and saddle aholic.. oops wrong bb Between dtr and I, we have a passier dressage saddle (not being used), the butet, two different collegiate saddles, and my 40+ old saddle I got with my first horse. I think we have sold the rest. I am looking for another butet. Bought the current one for ME, but on the way home decided to have Teddy 2 try it. So we could use a second on. |

I'm "trying" to get down to 1 or maybe 2 saddles. I think all my horses can go in the Tad Coffin I have... and will keep the Hermes for showing the jolly green giant I am breaking now. I think he'll be narrow enough that I can get away with it..... I do have 2 saddles for sale.. not sure if we have a classified section here or not..... anyone know?? |

We are considering it. I have to check the InvisionFree terms of use. Part of the problem is that they gear the ads to the board - some crawler thing reads the words we use or titles of threads and then puts the appropriate ads on the page. Right now french-used-saddles.com is on the bottom and two tack shops. You could mention it and then take it off the board if someone is interested. They would have to PM or email you. After I figure out if we can or not - we will either have a place to put things for sale or not depending on what we have to do to keep the free board. |

I came this close () to buying yet another saddle on Ebay yesterday. It was a used Ashland II and I really liked how it looked. |

We have multiple saddles to fit various horses, do dressage, hunters and xc. Expensive. Now searching for good used 17-171/2 seat narrow tree dressage and jump saddles for two horses. Sigh! |

I have multiple saddles for two horses! lol
I love the wintec but it doesn't fit the horse I got it for anymore so it just sits in the spare room looking pretty. So A) I sell it and use the money for something else or B)Keep it for when I get another young horse so I could possibly use it then since it is adjustable??? ~Rudy |

I've got two saddles and one horse. Zaldi Star is used daily and my 20 year old Moritz Elite (PDN knock-off) gets used once a month or so. I bought the Zaldi when my trainer requested something with a seat belt or two for riding Show through his spin and bolt phase. I wasn't going to ride in it...but then I felt how comfortable it was and I'm hooked. I took a lesson in the Moritz last night and Wow, is that sucker hard and flat. You HAVE to ride correctly in it or you're just not going to stay on very long. Edited to say: The Moritz gets used on horses other than my own. It fits a wide variety and I dont have to worry about stratching out the Zaldi that fits my horse perfectly...despite being bought off of ebay for $350. I thank the saddle fitting gods often for that little miracle. |

Two horses, two different barns. TB wearing my son's original Pessoa AO, with a big hole on the pommel covered with duct tape. Fits him ok, though I prefer my TC A5, which is 1 1/2 hours north being used on draftyX. She also wears an old, early Euroriding dressage saddle, and a McCall Wade tree( not if I can help it- English to the core, me). Also have a child's Wintec at first barn, used in lesson program because I got tired of saddles too big for little butts and short legs. |

I will preface this post by stating that part of my problem is that I went from a super wide bulldog of a QH, to a sharky rail-thin TB, to a flat and broad haflinger. But the tack stores LOVE me  I have: H/J: One medium tree Toulouse that I'm trying desparately to sell (bought for the TB, never got to use it) One wide older Crosby PDN - it's what I'm breaking out my baby in Dressage: One narrow older Keiffer - will likely never fit anything I own again, but it was my old man's saddle and I'll never sell it And MY SADDLE - medium wide Custom that is AMAZING. Western: One synthetic with semi-bars (also for the TB...used with when friends came out to ride him...I shoud sell that one too) One Billy Cook with full bars for the baby (apparantly I thought I'd ride her western?? That girl will never jog, let along lope. Oh well...breed points? ) I actually have sold a saddle before too

I currently have three saddles for two horses. I bought a new one to sort of replace my older saddle for my show horse and my other horse is a way different build then the show horse so she gets her own saddle. I also have 3 saddles that I don't use at all. I need to sell at least two of them because they are collecting dust and I could use some extra money.
