I don't. I have a PJ Lite with a forward flap and a short skirt. I've not had a problem with it fitting anyone so far...from shark-finned TB to broad WB.

My daughter has a PJ Original...also fits everything so far.

I have multiple saddles but don't ride. I have a Jimmy's 20th Century and an Hermes Steinkraus that is 20 years old and still fine. Well not completely true on the not riding, I've ridden 4 times in the last 6 months. The Hermes fits on both WBs and my 3 year old TB.

My kid rides A LOT of ponies and while her saddle fits well on most of them - it may not fit one of hers particularly well. I noticed because she forgot to use the Beval half pad that she normally uses with him and he has been cranky and was a little back sore. He's had a few days off, and she'll go back to using the half pad today, so hopefully, that will do the trick. I would hate to have to buy another saddle, especially since we wouldn't be giving up her main saddle!!

Erg, I have multiple saddles for a single horse I own. Does that count?

Most of 'em don't fit, though. So I keep them in the hopes that someday they'll fit SOMETHING!

I have been fortunate that my Beval Gladstone has fit every horse I have ridden in the past 20 years. Now my daughters Integrity is a different story, it fits her big TB fine but not her Paint. She uses her Dad's Crosby Eldionian for that horse.

I rode in a Butet for many years. I got a new saddle from Richard Castelow this summer for my giant and very wide horse Sooper Stu. I was worried when I sold my Butet it would be too wide for the other horse I ride regularly, but I just use a wider pad on him and it fits great.

I intially questioned if I should keep the Butet, but all is good so far. :)

Also have multiple saddles too. Old Hermes, which was totally redone, but doesn't fit the current steed, Butet, which I love, and an original Prix De Nations. Its kinda like bit collecting, you never know, you just might need one of them..

I love Richard - he is hysterical. He used to go to all the Ky. shows. I'm glad you like your saddle. :)

I ride in Tad Coffin and find it fits every horse I ride, I just have to use different pads sometimes. I used to ride in a deep PJ which I loved, but was too 'poofy' for Hammish who is not very wide even though he is a warmblood. I wanted to keep the PJ and buy the TC, but the $$ situation would not allow it.

I tried a demo TC years ago and hated it, but decided to give it another shot. I found a used TC and bought it for the same price that I sold my PJ for - within a month - go figure.

I have two saddles and haven't ridden in weeks ( I hope to change that tomorrow)I bought an Antares over a year ago but have maybe 20 rides in it due to unsoundness on my part and my younger mare. I went and tried it on her two months ago and she took great exception to it so Julien took it back to have it reworked. So, will pull out my Prix de Saute

I have multiple saddles b/c I'm just a multidisciplinary kinda gal, what can I say.

The collection at the moment:

21" Blue Ribbon cutback saddle seat saddle
18" St. Lourdes CC saddle w/ custom tree, from the infamous New Years Eve when a few COTHers hacked into their web site & got 'em wholesale
17.5" Kieffer Munchen AP
synthetic Western saddle somebody gave me
