But one thing I can say for certain, Jess will NOT race Rachel in the Belmont if she is not 110% ready or if he is not 110% comfortable doing so. One of his goals is and has been to get back to stronger, more bone dense, etc. type race horses and his breeding farm in KY reflects just that. GOOD to know!! That is PRECISELY what I am concerned about. Too many flashes of Ruffian for me. They are very similar in type. I'd be hard pressed to pick between MtB and RA. I like them both for different reasons!!!
