Wow. I'm just so impressed with Mine That Bird. It's great that a filly won, but to me, MTB is the story. The racing fanatic at our barn keeps saying his win was a fluke: the pace helped him, the track conditions, the jockey, etc. My answer is that EVERY race has those variables. I just wonder if he could've caught RA. He was definitely on his way. |
