What in Betty Bloomers is on the radio now? It sounds like the feral cry of a retarded Mexican Sasquatch! -Sarge, Red vs. Blue

I don't even have the opportunity to play any of those games...*smashes her cheap laptop graphics card* I'm waiting for the day when I can finally get a gaiming laptop, and go really nuts with PC games. I can only play old PC games, or relatively simple 3D games. All the new games with their flashy graphics crash my computer.

I don't know exactly what my computer's limits are...all I know is that I played a game that was made around the time Jurassic Park III came out, and it crashed my computer. I really want to play that game, but I'll have to wait. It's called Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. Looks like a kick-ass game that's right up my alley, but so much for that. Wish I had an NVidia card or something. But back when I bought this laptop, I hadn't rediscovered PC games yet.

If you post your computer's specs(laptop model, video card, processor, etc.) I could give you a good estimate of what you can play. Who knows, maybe it's more than you think!

To find this stuff, if you're on Windows XP, you can right-click your "My Computer" shortcut on your desktop, and go to Properties. It will come up with a box that has your "System" info, who it's "Registered to" and your "Computer" specs. Only post your System info and Computer specs.

To get the video card is a bit more complicated. When in the System Properties window(the same from the previous paragraph) click on the Hardware tab at the top. Then go to Device Manager. A list of different devices will appear. See what's under "Display Adapters", hopefully yours will be the same as mine.

I don't know how much of a gamer you are, Aniu, or what types of games you like, but we can at least figure out what your machine can handle. And yeah, I know this thread's really old, but I've got nothing better to do, hehe.

This is what I have:

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Toshiba Satellite
Intel® Pentium® M processor 1.73GHz
1.73GHz, 504 MB of RAM

Display adapter:
Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family

See what I mean? It's just an onboard Intel Graphics card, nothing special and very basic. I updated its driver, and can run WolfQuest better than before, but still slowly.

Recently, I changed my mind, and decided that instead of getting another laptop, I'm going to shoot for a slimline desktop: http://www.amazon.com/Pavilion-S3120N-Slim...98811195&sr=8-1

That's the one I'm looking at.
