She stopped and looked at him wide eyed and slightly starteled, then she narrowed them, studying him, her unnatural blue eyes piercing him. "I can sense the tension in you around me you know. You have a problem with pyro's the heat generating off your body tells me that. If I tell you, how do I know you won't just try to hand me in?"

"Because of me." Thayet grinned as she announced her presence in the kitchen. "I have a knack for reading people and Makai knows that I trust you. He wouldn't turn you in just because of his past. We all have our pasts. If anyone can respect that the four of us here sure as hell can. You can regard this as a safe place. If you can read our heat then you'll know I'm not lying to you and that I have no problem with you." Thayet laughed a bit to herself. "Though I'd help the last bit would be obvious since I did invite you into my home."

Alexia smiled, she hadn't seen someone be nice to her since her mother, and she hadn't seen her in years due to...well yeah. "Yeah, I can tell." She smirked and turned back to Makai. "I can also tell that your food is scorching on the bottom of the pot."

Vince had no idea what just happened, first the water started going crazy, and then bam, the water hits him out of nowhere.

"What was that!? Was that supposed to help me, because I don't really see how smacking me with water is going to do anything. Then again, I don't have much knowledge of the other kinetic powers."

The bounty hunter was sort of lying. You can't be a good bounty hunter without knowing the strengths and weaknesses of each kinesis, but he really didn't know you could heal people with hydrokinetic powers.
(((I stuck a quote there, so you don't get confuzzled as to where I'm posting. Sorry if it bothers you.)))

"Sorry, that wasn't supposed to happen, the water just kept going from the little nudge I gave it. But then again, water does that quite often. So, I can heal, but not by slapping you with water. I'll wait over by the edge of the river if it'll help. I mean, the descision to have someone heal an injury is very big, and I wouldn't want to get in the way of that choice." The last bit was sarcastic, but jokingly so.

"Oh, don't let me bother you, sitting over here, way out of the way." Naida plopped down on the mud, knowing that her clothes were in no danger of being ruined. She swished her legs around, keeping her control strictly non-kinetic.

"I just don't see how water is supposed to heal me, but you seem to know more than I do about hydrokinetics, which isn't a surprise. How long is this whole thing supposed to take?"

Vincent didn't really care how long it took, since he had nothing in particular to do right now, and this Naida was an interesting character, to say the least.

"Oh, well the water isn't exactly what heals." Naida explained as she moved closer. "It's the minerals in the water. Only some Hydrokinetics can tap into it, but my mom...she helped. Actually, as a tetrakinetic you should have a good grasp on it. You can move mud, even though there's water there, right? So it makes sense that it would work the other way around. There are natural healing elements in the river waters here."

She had a small orb of water rise, then she brought it close to Vincent's face.

"Can you see the glittering particles? Those are going to disinfect, close the wound, and keep the scarring to a minimum." Naida lowered it to the wounds. "This might feel weird at first, but it'll help." The mineral rich water swept the injury clean, then sealed and coated it.

"All better."

Vincent looked at his old wounds, the small ones completely gone, and the only one that is visible at first glance is the biggest gash, but even that one isn't too noticeable.

"So, what do you want in return for this? I mean, there's always a catch, so you might as well name it now."

Hey, what could this innocent woman want that he couldn't easily provide? Nothing hard, Vincent knew that much.

"Oh, shit!" Makai said, dropping his cigarette in the sink and sliding off the counter. He stirred the pasta up and saw that the damage wasn't too bad, just a couple of noodles sticking to the pot. "Alright. I guess it's ready."

He put out his cigarette, turned off the stove, and grabbed the pot. "Hey, Thayet? Mind grabbing some drinks?" he called while walking into the dining room with the food. He grabbed some plates, cups, and silverware from the china cabinet and quickly set the table before calling out, "Come on, it's ready!"

"Consider it a gift, and a lesson." Naida said, a small smile appearing. "I find that healing is more rewarding than any payment. Besides, you don't seem the type to carry mass quantities around with you, so you need what you have."

She started walking forward again, following the memory of the footsteps.

There has to be...ah, here it is. She thought as she came upon the small house. Might as well walk along the beach, don't want to be rude and just barge in on them.

She looked around at the scene, it was indeed breathtaking. The ocean held some strange beauty that land just can't describe.

Vincent, having nothing better to do, followed after her. Where was she going? He caught up to her, looking out at the ocean, one of his major weak points. Tetrakinetics didn't have much out here, the sand, sure, but that only helps so much in a fight.

"So, where are you heading? Sorry, hope I'm not acting like TOO much of a stalker."

What was this house that he saw, way out here in the woods, and by the beach at the same time? It was probably great for fights, but Vince tried to not think about it that way, since he always thinks about fighting a majority of the time.

Naida laughed. "No, you're acting just the right amount of stalker. Actually, I was following this group myself. They are over there, but by this point, thy've probably already left, so I was just going to admire the world's natural beauty. Feel free to join me."

She continued to stare out at the waves, then thought of something.

"Have you ever seen the caves around here? They are amazing. The rock that was formed by mineral-rich water makes them dangerous, but it seems right up your ally. That is, I assume you enjoy danger, seeing as you basically started following a perfect stranger, who could ahve attacked you at any time, with who knows what kinetic. Kind of stupid if you ask me, but then again, you didn't." She smiled again, letting Vincent know she was only kidding.
