Alexia frowned. THis woman had jsut met her and she was already inviting her to her home. Alexia decided that normal civillians were weird, but since she did need to eat, and rest, this was a good a place as any. "Thank you. I appreciate the invitation." She started following them. "And your observation is correct. I do have air eyes, but I'm not of air at all actually." She knew htey would find out she was of fire eventually. She wondered how to to hide and how much to tell them. She debated with herelf on what would be anough to keep them from finding out she was a runaway military experiement. |

Naida walked through the river, her long gown flowing behind her. She remembered what her mother had always told her... Naida, you are just like the river. You are calm and fathomless at times, but rushing and shallow at others. She remembered looking up into Irja's bright green eyes, and being sad about being different elements. Don't be dishearted. she had said when she'd noticed Naida's distress. My temperament is solid and yours is flowing, it makes no difference to me if my daughter even has an element. However, your father is slightly disappointed that you can conquer his flames now. Nur was always the hothead... Naida had laughed, and so had Irja, at how perfectly it had worked out for them. At least until the storm. A monsoon had bested her father, just as easily as if he were a simple matchstick, and it took Nur and Irja both that day. That wasn't so long ago, but the wounds had healed, leaving Naida scarred and alone. She kept to the rivers, never letting herself fear what she was gifted with. The Earth element in her mother had made her strong, and the flames kept her protected. She was never afraid, at least not while she was in the water. Her average frame and forgettable face helped her blend into the shadows, but her eyes were a shade of brown never known to anyone else. They shimmered like miniature suns, yet they held the subtle greens of the forest in them. But most spectacularly, where the whites were normally, they held the pale blue of a fresh pond, just enough to ripple and wave like the ocean, and just as deep. Long mahogany hair flowed in waves down her back and the long white gown brought out Naida's always-there tan. As she walked the river, she started to hear the voices of the near by town. Intrigued, she followed them. |

Vincent was walking slowly, without a care in the world. He had just become an official bounty hunter, after going through about two years of rigorous training in order to be one of the best users of tetrakinesis in the area. Most bounty hunters were tetrakinetics, as using the earth helps them cripple their opposition to bring them back alive, but killing them was just as easy, so whether the contract was to bring them back alive or dead, he could fulfill the demands. He would receive his first assignment by carrier pigeon, a method of sending mail that Vince thought had died centuries ago, but apparently this company of bounty hunters sticks to their roots. To stay agile and as a counterpart to his long hair, Vincent only wears a bulletproof vest, and a pair of jeans. Obviously to work in this profession, Vince was decently ripped. Again, he didn't look like he used steroids to stay agile, but his six pack and well toned muscles helped him in dire situations. He had a slight tan that he earned the hard way, which kept him from looking too pale. His eyes were as brown as the dirt he controlled with his very mind. This bounty hunter loved using the earth to help him get from place to place faster. He would throw up earth from the ground to give him an upward push, and then make himself a landing so he wouldn't just fall to the ground hard. However, Vincent went a little overboard and threw himself one last time, but this time he was heading straight for a river! There was nothing in the water that he could manipulate with just tetrakinetic powers. Luckily, the river was deep enough that the water could soften his landing before he hit the bottom. Vincent then hit the water, hitting the bottom right after that. Unfortunately, he didn't calculate rocks into the pain he was going to receive, as a few dug into his skin, creating a few wounds. Slowly getting up, groaning from the pain, he looked at his wounds, thinking of how he could have lessened the blow. "Damn, I could have lowered the ground in the river more, or pushed the rocks out of my way. I swear, I disgrace Threa with my stupidity sometimes." Vincent suddenly heard the water splashing, as he looked in the direction the sound was coming from to see a brunette wearing a long white gown moving through the river towards more trees. "She must not care if people hear her, the way she's walking through the river. Perhaps she is heading back to her village? I suppose I should follow her, I mean towns are a great way to pass the time while I wait for a bounty." Back on his feet, Vince began to follow her, every now and then grabbing onto his left arm which suffered most, if not all of the damage. |

A strange feeling washed over Naida. She had heard a splash, but thought it a fish. Now she had the odd feeling that she was being followed. She stopped, but kept the water splashing up ahead. Soon she saw the man following. He was clutching his arm, face contorted slightly in pain. Naida tilted her head, gazing at him while he was still oblivious. He was lightly tan, and obviously toned. His hair was long, and it shimmered in the light between branches. His vest seemed heavy, and that would have slowed any other person, but not him. Before he actually saw her, Naida stepped up to him, ending the splashing noise up ahead. "Hello. I'm Naida, why were you following me?" Normally she wasn't that straightforward, but this stranger worried her. Not only was he following her, but he was injured. Her rhudamentry healing might even help this man, but she wanted to know more first. Like his name perhaps. |

"Who, me? I assumed you were heading to a town of some sorts where I could get a nice cold drink, maybe rest for the night before..." Vincent suddenly remembered he was not to talk of his job to people he did not trust, and he certainly doesn't trust people he just met. "I get even more to drink! I'm a very exciting person, if you couldn't tell." This Naida certainly didn't have the look of a Goddess, but she wasn't a troll either. Then he looked into those eyes, eyes that at first seemed to be brown just like his, but he quickly learned they were far different, despite being the same color. Vince was thrown into a trance examining this stranger's eyes, the way there was not a dot of white anywhere in either eye, but instead filled with what looked like an ocean blue, but the bounty hunter was never good at analyzing colors. All of this lasted about 10 seconds for Vincent, but it didn't detract from his conversation with this woman, although his words were rather. simple. "I guess you wanna know my name, right? I go by Vincent, but more importantly, how did you know I was following you, I mean the splashing wasn't that loud." Part of being a successful bounty hunter is being as silent as a mouse, but this seemingly innocent girl could hear his footsteps, even if he was making some small splashes every now and then. Perhaps she wasn't as clueless as he originally suspected, but he should have known that this was no ordinary girl just from her exotic and unique eyes. |

"First let me explain. I'm a hydrokinetic, and the water speaks to me." Naida said, excited that he was talking to her. "That and I have eyes in the back of my head." She added smiling. She glanced at his arm again. "You know, I can fix that for you if you'd like, Vincent. I can do some minor healing." Her head tilted and she examined his side again. She also thought about how evasive he was being. Obviously she could have offered him some water, but she also thought he was looking for something stronger. But the "get even more to drink" was deffinately added on to distract. She felt the stones under her feet, letting them shift, and the water started to ripple around her. The circles continued to grow and multiply. They washed over the sides, and crashed against Vincent. She shook her head and the movements stopped. |

Vince had no idea what just happened, first the water started going crazy, and then bam, the water hits him out of nowhere. "What was that!? Was that supposed to help me, because I don't really see how smacking me with water is going to do anything. Then again, I don't have much knowledge of the other kinetic powers." The bounty hunter was sort of lying. You can't be a good bounty hunter without knowing the strengths and weaknesses of each kinesis, but he really didn't know you could heal people with hydrokinetic powers. |

OOC: You bugged me all this time to...Whatever. IC: Nihil watched the new arrival be immediately invited to join Thayet, Makai, and Nihil, and raised an eyebrow; apparently, Thayet was odd in that she didn't care of what element with which one was affiliated. If you weren't hostile, she'd befriend you. Or try to. He'd be a fool to forget that. Foolhardiness wouldn't help him survive. "Well," he said quietly, then stopped. The woman who'd just arrived seemed odd in more ways than one. Obviously, she had the eyes of an Aerokinetic. But she'd claimed she didn't have Aerokinetic powers. And she didn't have the steady, tall posture of a Tetrakinetic. She moved like a Hydrokinetic and an Aerokinetic combined, but her attitude was anything but. Hydrokinetics tended to be steadfast and immovable, and Aerokinetics were ethereal, and generally unconcerned with the happenings of the world, unless it directly affected them or those they considered their kin. Nihil's eyes took on a nearly unnoticeable glint as he stared at the woman. His eyesight wavered, then came back into focus sharply, and everything around them was blank. The only things he could see were masses of colors, either light blue, dark blue, red, or brown with green edges. Of course, he didn't dare look at himself with his NullSight; the last time he had, he'd nearly blinded himself with blazing silver light. There were two masses way off behind him, one brown with green edges and the other dark blue, but he didn't pay too much attention to those. The mass in front of him was...odd. It was brown and light blue with streaks of cobalt, but the entire mass had a red tint to it. He blinked and his vision returned to normal. He knew what sort of Kinetic this woman was. Pyrokinetics always make things interesting. I wonder why she hasn't told anyone. From what I know of Pyrokinetics, they tend to be fiercely proud of their heritage and abilities, and their swears by Rife give them away. Well, if she wants to keep it a secret, it's no business of mine. All this happened in the space of about fifteen seconds. His decision made, Nihil continued speaking. "It's a pleasure to meet you, in any case. If we don't have any more new arrivals, maybe we could start heading for Thayet and Makai's. I'd say I'm sorry for being so rushing, but I'm trying to stay hidden from those who don't accept what I am." |

Alexia looked this guy over with a cautious eye. He was unnatural, at least in the sense that he wasn't normal as she knew normal to be. But he was on the run for being what he was. That peaked ehr interest in more than one way. She fell in step with him, and followed the others. She couldn't get into peoles heads but she was akeen people reader in any case. Natural instincte she'd always assumed. "So. On the run huh? Is it safe to assume, then, that you want nothing to do with anyone on the side of the authorties?" |

Thayet was off in her thoughts thinking about the two new people had met today. She really hadn't talked to anyone for what seemed like years. No one but Makai of course. Makai had been her only friend ever since she decided to run away from her life. Her truest friend. It was odd to run into people. That probably explained why she was hovering slightly above the ground completely unconscious of the fact. Normally she was very in touch with her powers and knew exactly what she was controlling and when. But every now and again her mind got the best of her and it wandered off as her powers began to reflect her innermost thoughts. Thayet lowered herself to the ground as she noticed she was floating, smiling a little to herself thinking about how it was a good thing she hadn't been pissed off. Quicker than expected Thayet reached the door to the home she shared with Makai. Thayet used the air around her to gently open the door. Slowly Thayet turned around to see Nihil and Alexia still following her. "Welcome to our house." Thayet grinned broadly as she made a gesture for them to enter the house. |

Makai was in the kitchen preparing to cook dinner when he heard the front door open. "Yes, welcome," he called out. "Make yourselves at home, but don't make a mess or Thayet will have to clean it up." He opened the refrigerator door and peeked inside, wondering what to make. He decided to be lazy and heat up some leftovers. With only two people in the house, leftovers were a very common thing, and he hadn't been hungry the night before even after cooking a big pot of seafood pasta. Pulling it out, he set it on the stove, adding a few liquid ingredients so it wouldn't get too dry in the reheat process. |

Alexia smiled, "Thank you." She entered and started looking around her. Instinct made her immeadiately take notice of everything little thing. She started to wander and found her way into the kitchen. She walked over to teh stove and sniffed. "Mmm, home cooking. I haven't had a home cooked meal in months. It smells wonderful." She took another small step towards teh stove and the fire started crackeling. She stopped and backed up a step to where she was before, praying Makai hadn't noticed anything. |

Makai had, in fact, noticed what happened. He looked up toward the woman, eyebrow raised. Sliding up onto the counter, he said, "You're strange." It wasn't intended to be rude, it was just an observation. "You're some kind of Kinetic, I can tell that much. And yet you didn't seem to flip out when you saw Nihil. You're not a Photokinetic, though. I can tell that much." Makai leaned back and opened the window before pulling a pack of cigarettes out. He put one between his lips but then said, "Oh, dammit, I don't have a lighter..." |

OOC: Lmfao Will that is WAY too obvious, okay fine I'll play along. IC: "Well, I've had a strange life. Here I'll get it." Without actaully realizing what she was doing, she snapped her fingers and a teeny tiny flame appeared at the tip of her index, just big enough to light a cigarette. She flicked it across ther oom where it jumped into the cancer stick, causing teh end of it to glow bright orange before fading. Immeadiately she hit a face palm. "By Rife! I manage to avoid the damn stove but not lighting a cigarette? If I keep this shit up I might as well hand myself in, because they'll catch me eventually." She wasn't talking to Makai, she was chewing herself out. She'd, for the moment, completely forgotten he was there. |

Makai grinned darkly. "I knew it. I can tell a Pyrokinetic from a mile away." He decided to refrain from mentioning his father, and also not to immediately kick her out of the house. If Thayet could trust her, then she couldn't be too bad; not to mention he was curious as to what she was beating herself up about. Taking a drag from the cigarette, Makai asked, "Who'll catch you?" |
