OOC: Sorry peeps. I moved the old MT to achives. It was ldumb and stuff, we are starting fresh. If you were in the last one its up to you if you wanna start over and have your character meet everyone agian for the first time or not But I'd love for you guys to jsut come on back make it like meeting old freinds again yanno? totally up to each person as you enter. For new people, the MT does have rules. There is no particular Story line...as in there is no goal or final crowning acheivement. But let me explain a few things. This RP has a rather complicaed Pantheon that you'll learn about as you go. But to start you off on some of the rules of this world. The Mystic Tavern is in The Forest of Realms. The only way to get there for the first time, is to get there by accident. You must also leave it by accident the first time you leave neve ron purpose or you'll probably never get back. the FoR has a mind of its own, once it's kidnapped you then kicked you out, you may come and go as you please... Thats just to get you started. There is alot if you're not used to the MT Rp's, so you'll learn as you go. Laterz Gaterz! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the middle of a dark magical woods known as The Forest of Realms, is a tavern. The sign on the door says The Mystic Tavern in silver letters. To the right of the building, about 50 yards away is a huge lake. You open the door to the tavern and directly across from you is a row of booths with windows above them. To your left, a bar in the shape of an L. A Girl with long blonde hair is the tender. She looks about seventeen. Her name is Alexia. She is a goddess. At the far end of the bar, a giant house cat lays on top of it, nearly asleep. Behind the girl on a shelf, infront of a huge mirror, is a picture of a big brown dog sitting in front of the bar, on watch, with the girl behind him looking at the camera. In a booth across the room form the door, and white bengal tiger lays, faceing the door. And across the room from the bar? A fireplace, with a winged back chair on either side, an oval rug in front, and a black panther dozing in the heat. Two tiger cubs, and black panther cub, and two kittens (clearly twins) run around eachother, and throughout the tables, they are all about the size of a fully grown lynx. Directly on the door’s right, are the stairs leadig to the rooms for rent on the second floor. Many random dark creatures are sitting about the place. many came to meet friends. Many others came to black market deals across the Realms of existance. Alexia didn't care. She only cared when one put a hole in her tavern. |

OOC: I'm bringing in a character that I've made up, but is based on a video game. If that's a problem, let me know. IC: Leonidas ran through Serenes Forest, thanking the Goddess Ashera that he was King Caineghis's son. As such, he was in possession of a magic band that, when worn by only laguz royals, allowed them to remain in their beast, bird, or dragon form indefinitely. The reason Leonidas was running was because he was the only remaining member of an assault on Gallia. His father, his liege, his king had given him command of 300 of the finest beast laguz, cats, tigers, and lions alike, to defend the retreat of the rest of Gallia. And they had bought a lot of time against Daein, who had in the end proved to be too powerful both in number and in magic. They had that blasted fire magic...Their sages had torn through a third of their ranks without even trying. Leonidas growled a growl that shook the trees at their roots at the thought. Currently, a squad of Daein assassins was tailing him, and Leonidas was winning the chase...so far. He knew where he was going, and he also knew that his destination was his only chance for survival. He found the Serenes altar and sent a quick prayer to Ashera that this would work. Taking off his band to allow himself to return to his humanoid form, Leonidas raised his head to the skies and sang out a lilting, sweeping melody...the galdr of transport. He felt the magic flowing around him out of the altar and could only hope he wouldn't be killed wherever he would end up... He opened his eyes to find himself in a forest much like Serenes, except that it was much darker and had a surreal quality to it. He saw a building with the words "Mystic Tavern" on it in silver letters and a lake not far from the building. Maybe someone in there can tell me where I am, Leonidas thought, and walked toward the building. "Can someone tell me where I am, exactly?" Leonidas asked in a clear voice as he walked into the tavern to find an assortment of animals, dark creatures whose names he didn't know, and someone who appeared to be beorc-like. He walked over to the bar and asked his question, this time in a quieter voice. |

((OOC: Its the MT, be whoever you wanna be hon!)) Alexia had turned and stared at the new commer with all the other tavern patrons. When he sat down near her and posed his question agian, and quieter and laughed. "Oh you are a fresh one, arn't you? Best not to bring on too much attention. These feinds will eat you alive. They'll take advantage of anyone they can. You're in the Mystic Tavern. My Mystic Tavern, located at the very center of the Forest of Realms. And You're stuck here." She giggled. "At least until the Forest decides to kick you out agian." |

OOC: Cool beans, then. :] IC: Leonidas raised an eyebrow at the barkeep's laughter and following comments. "Well, since I'm so new here, I don't really know what will work to protect myself." He slipped on his band and a ring of light showed up around him, moving up and down along his body until he was encased in a cylinder of light. Then it faded, and where Leonidas had sat there was now a blue lion with a navy mane that had little streaks of sky blue and silver in it. He took the band off his wrist with his teeth and changed back to his humanoid form in a much less showy fashion. "So it appears I can still use my laguz form here," Leonidas said, smiling. That will do nicely. At least I won't be completely defenseless. "So you say I'm stuck here until the Forest decides to let me go again? Well...I can't say I regret that, as there's currently a team of assassins after me. Trust me, this place is a welcome escape," he said with a laugh. "Anyway...if I'm gonna be stuck here, I might as well get to know some of the more...friendly people. Like you, for example," he said, turning to face the barkeep. "I am called Leonidas. My parents thought it would be funny to name a lion laguz Leonidas, so that they could call me Leo the Lion," Leonidas said with a look on his face like he'd eaten something foul-tasting. He held out his hand for the barkeep to shake, saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss...?" he trailed off, leaving the invitation for her to leave her name or something he could call her. |

Alexia shook his hand. "Alexia. This is my Tavern. And doing that, isn't exactly keeping a low profile. You just look like one of my own minions." She smoothely waved her hand indicating the room, the giant anumals scattered around it, and the younger ones playing inbetween the tables on the floor. "And I'm not nice. I'm just...bound. Heh. Anyway, yo're going to need a room. Do you have any gold, or anything currency with you at all? A room is two gold peices a night." |

Leonidas smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck with one hand. "Yeah, sorry about that. My curiosity overrode my common sense. "Anyway, yes, I do have gold," he said, bringing out a pouch full of gold pieces and handing Alexia two of them. "So, is this the kind of business you usually get?" he said, waving much like Alexia had done, except this was to indicate the other patrons of the tavern. "It's a beautiful tavern, by the way." |

She didn't touch the gold, but one of the coins dissapeard. "First, Tavern says one of your gold peices is enough becasue you're currency is heavy, in your case, one equals two. Take the other one back. Second, yes it is, but its also the middle of hte week. THis place is a blast Thrusday through Saturday night. It's only Tuesday. And Third, thank you. I take great pride in my tavern. I find the black ebony wood its built out of soothing." Just then an old fashiond silver key appeared on the table. It was about six inches long and on the shaft, in Alexia's own scripture, the word "Fourteen" was engraved. "Thats your room key. You paid the room for a day and night. If you don't pay for another twenty four hours before this time tomorrw your key will return to me. Simple as that." She smiled. "Now, can I get you something to drink or eat? Food and drink are free." |

Leonidas did what Alexia bid him, placing the one gold piece left in his hand back into his pouch. He smirked at her remarks regarding the Tavern's busier period. "Good. These creatures seem a little...boring," he said in a conspiratorial sort of voice, as though he were telling Alexia an important secret, yet in a humorous tone as well. "Black ebony, hm...Can't say I've seen many buildings made out of that substance. In Tellius, everything is made either of tree wood or stone. The ebony does make for a nice touch, though..." he trailed off, allowing himself to stare mindlessly at the tavern for a few moments. Shaking himself back into his head, Leonidas picked up the key, which was a lot lighter than it looked, and looked at it carefully, purely out of curiosity. "Is this pure silver?" he asked interestedly. Silver was rare in Tellius, and only weapons were made out of the metal, and only the strongest weapons at that. "I'll be sure to keep up my tab," Leonidas said with a smile, then turned his thoughts to his stomach, which was currently telling him that it was hungry. "Hm. I'm unfamiliar with what you offer, so I'll just go with whatever your most popular food and drink is," he replied, placing his room key in one of his pockets. |

Alexia threw her head back and laughed. "Oh you're new ness is relaly amusing. I half wish you don't learn anything about tis place jsut so I stay this amused." She giggled again then went on. "First, thats what Ebony is, its wood. You can find it in a few of Earth's realms, and all over the Forest here. Ebony is only one color, black, it doens't look like normal wood. The only part of the tavern itself thats not is the fireplace across the room behind you, and the wall its on, all of that is stone." The wall and fireplace were infact made up of tons of medeum sized rocks somehow fitting together perfectly. Not one bit of mortar could be seen. " Yes, the key is solid silver, but its magicked to be lighter than what is should be. As for food and drink, thats what so great about the MT. We have, literally, whatever you want. Order it and you shall recieve. And, by the way hon, you couldn't handle the most common drink around here." She giggled agian, this time at the look on his face. |

Leonidas couldn't help but smile along with Alexia; her laughter was contagious. "I'm glad you find me so amusing," he said jokingly. "So ebony is a wood, huh? We don't have ebony in Tellius, which explains why I didn't recognize it as such." He mulled over what to order, although he was very curious as to why Alexia believed he couldn't handle the most common drink in the Tavern. He decided not to pursue it. In a few seconds, what he wanted came to mind. "Hm. I'm craving a spiced rack of ribs. And some mead. Really good mead. I've had to live off of creek water and hard biscuits for about a month now while we were defending against the siege." |

Alexia waved a hand and his order appeared. "All the tavern staff can do that, and only the tavern staff. I warn new commers now because I got sick of patrons attempting it and bitching becasue it fails. I've spelled it now so that when people try it, they get very hurt." She snickered. "I don't tell everyone that though. Just the ones I like. Everyone has to find out for themselves. Enjoy! And feel free to call for me if you need anything else." She walked away down the bar to wait on a pair of customers. |

Leonidas smirked. He imagined that would be very amusing. "Well, thank you, Alexia. Your secret's safe with me." He watched as she walked away to wait on another pair of customers, and started to eat his ribs. He started to reach for the mead, but another, larger hand appeared and tried to take the flagon. "I suggest you don't touch that, if you'd like your fingers to stay attached to your hand," Leonidas said quietly. A deep, gravelly voice chuckled and replied, "Shut up, little kitty. Don't make me hurt you." Leonidas simply smirked. 'Little kitty', am I? he thought before turning around to face what he now found to be an orc. Said orc wasted no time in roaring in Leonidas's face, bathing him in its putrid breath. Leonidas rolled his eyes. "You might want to work on that. I think there was a worm digging somewhere that wasn't too impressed with that. In the meantime, try a breathmint. A really big breathmint." With that, he took the flagon back and was promptly cuffed on the back of the head. He simply lurched a centimeter forward, before allowing his eyes to flash at the orc, and he opened his mouth and allowed a song to come flowing out. He smirked while singing as the orc seemed to lose all interest in Leonidas and quickly fell into a mellow sort of mood. "Sorry about your head," the orc mumbled, all of its aggressiveness having been surpressed by Leonidas's powerful slumber galdr. Leonidas simply nodded and went back to eating his ribs. |

Alexia looked at De then Cerb and jerked her head towards the door. The large dog, and panther walk over to the sleeping Orc. They quickly and without ceremony tak on their human forms and drag the Orc out of the tavern. Alexia ignores teh wrokeing of her demons and continues the conversation with her customers. Its a good tenminutes before they return, already back in their demon forms before they'd even entered the tavern. Cerb returned to patrolling the Tavern, but Demon walked over to where Alexia was, put his front paws on the counter and cleared his throat. Alexia excused herself from her conversation and turned her attention to Demon. "He struggles in his sleep, but he didn't waken." "What'd you two do with him. You were gone a while." The black panther's white fangs gleamed as he grinned wickedly. "We ate him." Alexia smiled. "Meh. De you and Cerb will eat anything. Damn oppertunistic feeders you lot are. You'd think you dind't get enought to eat around here." "We do. But Orc is jsut so good and we don't get it often." "Alright, whatever. GO back to watching the flames." De jumpped down and Alexia went down to her newest patron. "Looks like your enjoying the infamous MT food. That was aly of you. Not many fights end that peacefully around here." |

Leonidas smirked. "Well, thank you. I didn't really want to get Orc blood all over the Tavern. I hear it's awfully hard to remove the stains," he said with a grin. "And yes, the food is amazing. Better than most, if not any I've had," he said, taking a bite. After he'd swallowed, he asked, "Where did that Orc go, by the way? I know I didn't repel him anywhere..." |

"De and Cerb," She nodded her head toward the panther named Demon, who was dozing in front of the fire, and then at Cerb the big brown Chessie equal in size to the panther, that was patrolling the tavern. "Ate him. Oppertunistc feeders lately. For some reason they can't get enough to eat the last few months." She smiled. "If you like the magicked food, hang around till saturday, throwing a party cuz Harley and the guys are coming back. I cook personally for them, and well the whole tavern. My personally cooked food is much better than this and this is good heehee." She paused like she was listening to something, then shook her head. "And actually, when you're a goddess, no stain is too hard to get out. So don't worry about any blood shed." |
