"Eppur si muove" Posts: 2,841 Group: Tavern Owner Member #1 Joined: December 18, 2006	OKay so I was sitting n the break room today reading the paper and I noticed something. Between pages A1 and A2, there were 12 stories. One was a joke colum that was only a few lines so I’m not counting this, so there were 11 REAL stories...11 headlines. Eleven of those 11 were negative headlines. In order from the biggenst story to the smallest, they went in the following order. U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Hit 4,000 Meat Packing Plant Explodes China Takes Aime at Dalai Lama & Nancy Pelosi Four Dead, One Missing as Fishing Boat Sinks Off Alaska Mexico Now Second Fattest Country-After U.S. Woman, Oldest Texan Died at 114 Forecast: River Could Flood Heavily Sex Offender Running for Mayor 18 Sailors Feared Dead in Hong Kong One Dead in Stabbing Spree Okay so I was HOPING that the one about the old woman was one of jsut you know praising her, or something good, in some way, not at all. I read every one of the articles, and they were all so fucking NEGATIVE! I know what you’re thinking, I only listed ten topics, what about number eleven? THAT was the ONLY positive article I found. But this was the smallest story of them all! At the very bottom of the left column on page A2, including the title is was 62 words long, and including the title, is was 16 lines long. This paragraph is longer! The title? Pope Praises Catholic Conversion. It was sixty-two words mentioning in passing the mass Easter baptisim at the Vatican, where a bunch of people converted. You’d think in a world like ours, something so good as hundreds of people finally finding faith, be it in christianity, or hinduism, or whatever, there would be a bigger story that SIXTEEN LINES! Yeah first I know this happens every Easter, and also I knw that I’m probably the FARTHEST thing from Catholic, or even christian, I still like to read about religion and things like that. But you’d think if making it a huge story, it would give pessimists some HOPE for our world, but nope, instead it jsut fules the haters of the world giving them more reason to not have any sort of positive outlook at all. Anyway this made me thin of an ICP song called "Terrible" I’ve got it at the bottom fo this blog, I suggest you all read it because it makes some pretty good points... "MOTHERFUCKER! YOU DON’T KNOW SHIT, DO YOU? YOU WOULDN’T KNOW SHIT IF IT WHIP KICKED YOU IN YOUR UGLY BITCH-ASS FACE. YOU AIN’T EVEN BEGUN TO EXPERIENCE DRAMA, MOTHERFUCKER. We heard about it for months What about that one nobody guy that they found? Dead in the grass with his, dick in his ass Plus there was more but you won’t recall Because Micheal Jackson squeezed up on some little kids balls What you consider...DRAMA Ain’t all that, it’s just that you’re wack with your intergalactic satellite data compress But we can’t feed the homeless Then OJ’s wack story unfolded And everybody watched that while Oklahoma exploded 900 good reasons why this world really don’t care THAT’S WHEN IT COSTS FOR A WHEELCHAIR! [Chorus - Violent J] What you know ’bout terrible? (YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT’S TERRIBLE) [x2] Yeah she’s so terrible you gotta beat her you BITCH-ASS WACK MOTHERFUCKER! [2nd Verse- Shaggy2Dope] LOOOORRDY-lord have we got a protest, man Some rock-and-roll ninja bit the head off a rat Let’s march in his concert, and tell him to hell ’Cause he’s so fucking TEERRRIBLE Meanwhile his records sell double and triple ’Cause of you crying about him rubbing his nipple Religious?
