I did a research paper on Druids last semester. I know a hell of a lot about them, and while I've decided that I don't believe 100% the same as they do, (I consider myself more of a Hellenistic pagan than a Celtic one), I really respect their beliefs.

Human sacrifice was NOT a part of the Druidic way. There is no evidence ANYWHERE of a Wickerman existing, that was all Christian propaganda.

The holidays I celebrate aren't violent. Most are based on harvests, seasonal changes, fertility, or honoring the dead. Not slaughter in the name of Christianity.

I'm not going to stop anyone from going and drinking, I'm just saying I don't actively celebrate it (though I did wear green because I prefer to explain my distaste in the holiday without being covered in bruises).

Yes, but you still brought down our fun by pointing out the violence of the holiday thats all.

As for the wickerman...ITS WICKER....and after so long its going to be hard to prove wether they exhisted or not....

Also I never said that YOU or hell even that I celebrated violent ones, I was just pointing out that a great many holidays are violently based in the beginning...

*grins maliciously at will and picnches him really hard several times making sure she caused bruises then runs and hides behind Bri*

Theat was for my sole amusement btw!
