" He said as Elizabeth began to strap on his sword and put on his hat. He smiled at Norrington who rolled his eyes. "Easy on the goods, darling." Jack added after his smile at the Commodore.

Jack said spinning Elizabeth around and then walking backwards. "Gentlemen, m'lady, you will always remember this as the day that you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!" Jack said pushing Elizabeth into the Commodore. Jack then grabbed a rope and then kicked something to release some barrels that were over head. Jack shot into the haid and began swinging around. "Now, will you shoot him?" Governor Swann asked holding Elizabeth. "Open fire!" Norrington commanded as the officers opended fire and Jack landed on a beam above their heads. "On his heels." Norrington shouted. Jack threw his chains about a rope and slid down to the ground. "Gillette, Mr. Sparrow has a dawn appointment with the gallows. I would hate for him to miss it." The soldiers began running around the town in search for Jack. "Search upstairs. Look lively, men." Jack entered a smithy, he saw drunk and sleeping Mr. Brown. Jack walked over to him cautiously and poked him to see if he can be waken up. "Whoa!" Jack shouted but the man didn't wake up. Confident, Jack went off to get the irons off. He tried to get rid of the irons with a hammer but it didn't work and soon gave up. A metal rod catches Jack's eye. He picked it up and then went over to the donkey and spurred him. Jack broke the link but then he heard someone coming. Jack went off to hide.

"Shh, shh," he said, walking over to her. When he finished calming her, he looked around, suspicious of foul play. Walking over to Mr. Brown, he examined the drunken man, before muttering, "Right where I left you..." Seeing a hammer, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Not where I left you." Looking around, he spotted a hat. He reached out to touch it, but was surprised by a man jumping out of nowhere, sword pointed. "You're the one they're looking for, aren't you?" he asked. The man was scraggly, but in a pleasing way. "The pirate."

Jack said turning away when Will grabbed his own sword and challenged the pirate. "Do you think this wise, boy - crossing blades with a pirate?"

But how's your footwork?" Jacke challenged. "If I step here..." Jack stepped to the side. "very good. Now I step again." Jack said testing the young man. "Ta." Jack sheathed his sword and walked to the door but Will threw his sword which got stuck in the door, barring the exit from Jack. Jack tried to pull it out anyways but is utterly unsuccessful. "That is a wonderful trick... except, once again you are between me and my way out. And now you have no weapon." Jack smirked. Will took out a sword with a heated tip causing Jack's eyes to widen as they began to fight again. "Who makes all these?" Jack said looking at all the swords pointedly.

The two men continued foghting, until they jumped onto a cart that swayed under their weight. Will hooked a knife in the irons hanging from Jack's left wrist and threw it up so it is embedded in the beam above. In return Jack hit a loose board which threw Will off the cart; Jack use his body weight to get the knife out of the wood and fell back on the cart just as Will climbed back on. Will was thrown up into the rafters and cut free a heavy sack which vaulted Jack up into the rafters as well. They fought, jumping from beam to beam. Jack lost his weapon and blinded Will with sand and took out his pistol while Will protected his eyes. Enraged, Will shouted, "You cheated!"
