What are the rules here? Go read the thread. Are there any PDA rules? You can use the word sex, but please, don't describe the act. Think of it like a movie where we cut the camera before the characters have sex, but you know they did it. If you want to have it, we have a 16+ section for it. What are the ranks and how many posts do I need to advance? Slave 0 - 99 Peasant 100 - 499 Servant 500 - 999 Merchant 1000 - 1999 Gentry 2000 + Why can't I be a Tavern Owner or a Bartender? Those are the fancy titles for your administration team. Normal members can't achieve these ranks. How do I role play? Here are some examples of RP posts. Carrie: *walks into the Mystic Tavern* Oh, hello. Carrie: ::walks into the Mystic Tavern:: Oh, hello. *Carrie walks into the Mystic Tavern* Oh, hello. ::Carrie walks into the Mystic Tavern:: Oh, hello. Charlie walks into the Mystic Tavern. "Oh, hello." What is Godplaying? Godplaying is when one player controls another player's charcter without permission. Example: ::Carrie threw Marco out the window and Marco broke his wrist:: Carrie cannot say that Marco broke his wrist. The injuries sustained are up to Marco to decide. However, Carrie may throw Marco out the window. This also leaves it open for Marco to dodge, duck, or whatever he wishes to do. How do I get one of those doll things for my signature? They are called Candy Bar Doll Makers. There are two very good sites for them. The Doll Palace and Elouai. An ordinary search will get you others if you don't like either of these or they do not work with your computer. If regular members can't become staff how do you get staff, do we just ask...can I be a Bartender/Tavern Owner? You can become one, but you don't ask. A Tavern Owner will come to you if we want you to become a staff member. What do I have to do to get a staff member to come to me? Be a good poster, be active on the board, follow our rules, but its no guarentee that you will be approached, so don't expect it. Fine, what is spamming/flaming? Spamming is when you post random stuff that shuldn't be there; you will get in trouble for this. Flaming is basically when you sit there and dis others for no reason. This will get you suspended for a time. How do I join a Guild? We have a new guild system that we think you will all like. Just go to the guilds section, fill out the application, and you'll soon be sorted into a guild based on your responses. There are three guilds, with three leaders, who will be listed as their child board's moderator. How do I become a Guild Leader? The simple answer is, you don't. Unless one of the old guild leaders decides they don't want to head their guild anymore, no one else will be made into a guild leader. In the event that a guild leader resigns, only Super Moderators (Bartenders) will be up for selection. Who made the graphics for the board? Will did, but the rose in the main banner was painted by Maici from DeviantArt. All credit for that goes to her! How do I become an affiliate? Go here and read it. You'll learn all you need to know.
