Yeah, so, the thing is, I *don't* write poetry. Until now. I've got 2. This one I wrote for my friend because she needed a ballad for English class. My Darling, Do I Love You Your eyes are as blue as the sky As deep as the ocean, too Loving and caring and happy My darling, do I love you. Your hair is soft and shining As smooth as satin, too Blond and curly and bouncing My darling, do I love you. Your skin is pale as the moonlight As gentle as a flower, too Caressing and holding and touching My darling, do I love you. Your eyes are vacant and rolling. Hair is blood-stained, too. Cold and dead and lonely. My darling, did I love you. This one's about Jonathan. Untitled Empty and cold Describe me no longer Since meeting you I've only grown stronger The light in your eyes Brings joy to my heart I only feel pain When we are apart Your kiss makes me melt Your touch makes me crumble When I try and speak Over my words I fumble Maybe one day We will be together But one thing is certain I'll love you forever. What do you think? |
