Posting format:
After both fighters have posted, the initial poster will be allowed to make the first strike in their second post. The first player to post their introduction gets the position of Player1, the second poster is Player2. Please read the layout here.

Format of the fight:
A battle shall end only when one or both fighters lives have expired; however, if their fight last longer than need be their bout will continue whilst everyone else progresses to round two. This way both fighters may play out their feud without seriously inhibiting the tournament’s progression.

Rules:

  • You are roughly 70 feet of each other.
  • Touching the surface of the water below the ship is grounds for defeat.
  • The ship is not indestructible, but it is able to withstand surface bombardment and crashes from modern day jets.
  • Crashed jets have plenty of fire around them etc. The parked jet is a F-35 Lightning 2 and is less than 50 feet of either player.
  • Both characters know they are here to fight.
  • No one is allowed to post in the thread outside of both participants and a judge
  • You can not attack in your initial post
  • You are disallowed to edit your post without permission from Mobius and/or acknowledgment from your opponent. Once your opponent has posted, the previous post YOU make shall remain untouched unless authorized. I will immediately disqualify you if you edit post after your opponent post (with some exceptions)

Stations were prepared and everyone is on deck. The waters inundated with ballistics underneath a sky torn assault. Feral orange lines shredded across random aviator jets as they scramble for position above turret fire or mounds of sentries aboard. There weren't a discernible edifice in sight nor any distinction between these rogue fighter plains -- concealed by an upcoming continental fortress of thick clouds that loomed ahead for an omen. Those aboard her, the largest carrier of the lot, could faintly make out small puffs of booms. They would not hear the near wrist-snap or crackle associated with this skirmish, but muffled hollowed howls of distant thunder about them. Naval personnel attempted to organize amid certain chaos and found themselves maimed physically and mentally. The duress from causalities, multitasking, and upkeep under this intense condition would break a poorly tensile mind, but these men were ductile and malleable. Adversarial fighter units felt oblige to crash their vehicles directly aboard the main strip of Hyperion, but their fuel dripping blood and mangled expenses little deterred her might. For you see, her vastness is incomprehensibly proportioned.

The superstructure can only compliment a ship this immense. Though plenty of its inner mechanics were left traditional, many of its exterior were rigged with artillery batteries that had enough fire power to sink frigates alone. The Primary Control and Bridge were hallmarks to lavish and robust design; however, the hulls beneath were many and exceptionally more fortified. To many against it that survive great peril -- claimed it was inhumanly crafted. Such a boat would have the right to be considered a mobile country with catapults as runways, field strips for airline travel, and hulls as apartment complexes. This was truly one of a kind, dwarfing Knock Navis in length by an unforgettable margin. The architects assembling this behemoth of the sea truly compensated for themselves, but no imagination could trifle with the crusade of such a beast. The warring heavens above was testimony to Hyperion's presence in the world, and such a sinking would change the tide for both war and world alike.

With such a leviathan trample over water came its sizable slowness. The armaments, constant fighter support, and man power to operate this colossal beast couldn't reduce its turtle like swiftness; indeed, Hyperion would be considered a gigantic coffin without its residents occupying the decks to maintain a plausible upkeep. The power-plant was far too small to deliver a necessary output. Hyperion needed 4 for basic operation, but it uses 2 for essential urgency in the face of upcoming danger; otherwise this ship has only made a limited amount of voyages, but steadily only drifts across seas as a glorified checkpoint to any person that claim to be apart of it. The gallery deck was exceptionally durable and big, built to withstand bombardment or crash landings from enemy fighters should they breach its aerial defenses and eliminate any parked unit aboard.

Today! The fight would escalate to such levels of intensity that a horizon consuming maw opens to devour all inside. They would be swept into a frenzy of high winds, lightning, and possible waves that would crash unto Hyperion's flank like a tennis ball colliding onto a brick wall. A few pilots that have managed to finally land onto its large landed ways would be assaulted with gun-fire from afar or close quarter marines capable of any situation. The most special of men or woman would face extraordinary resistance from higher level counter-force squads, but these were limited today. From this small glean of knowledge, the warzone atop was background noise to whomever has arrived and they'll certainly enjoy the fire works from behind.
