If this is official according to Nintendo of America officials, I would believe this post. Ayra is written アイラ (Aira) in Japanese. Her name would be localized as Ayra in the North American version of SSBB. The game title "Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu" is written ファイアーエムブレム 聖戦の系譜 in Japanese. |

It is unclear whether it is official information or spam. Even if is official information, it does not guarantee Ayra from Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu being playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I have given the Japanese kana spelling of Ayra (which is Aira) already. I would recommend that Ayra would be the final character update for Super Smash Bros. Brawl official Website. By request due to an issue at NSider board, if Lip is going to be confirmed, there is a great chance that Ayra will automatically confirmed. Lip would be the last character update before Sigurd, who would be next-to-last, while Ayra would be the last character update for the official site. If Ayra from FE4 is in Brawl, she will be a realistic character. She will look shockingly beautiful, per the FE4 dialogue, where Kinbois says that she has such a pretty face. Her in-game biography may confirm that she is actually alive at the time of the FE4 ending. |

According to my calculations Ayra has a 0.05% chance of appearing in SSBB, while Lip has a 36.91% chance chance of making an appearance. |

No, those low chances of Ayra making it in Brawl are biased, and your calculations are based on biased ideologies, and relying primarily on storyline importance. Storyline importance is not everything. Ayra has real-world significance. She does not have an insanely minor role, like Holyn or Beowolf of the same game does. Her role in her original game is between major and minor, not overwhelmingly close to either. Anything saying that she has an insanely minor role is biased. She actually has a fair chance of being playable in Brawl. According to my calculations, her chances are 36.92% (based on unbiased calculations), not 0.05% (which is based on biased consensus). |

Beowulf is an Old English heroic epic poem composed in the late Early Middle Ages. The poem is the lengtheist of all old english poems. I once watched a animation based on beowulf, I think it was produced by BBC Wales. Fire emblem is only my twenty-eighth favourite RPG series. |

Your calculations are biased. All calculations stating that Ayra has a zero or near-zero percent chance of being playable in SSBB are entirely biased. Anyone with that percentage is not a Nintendo character. An unbiased calculation would be approximately 37% chance. Ayra is eligible to be in Brawl according to Masahiro Sakurai's standards, because she is a Nintendo character. |

Ayras chances of appearing in SSBB are entirely dependent on the North american sales of Metroid Prime 3. Should Metroid Prime 3 sell over 60,000 copies on its first week of release ayras chances of appearing in SSBB will increase to 1.3%. |

Metroid Prime has nothing to do with Ayra. If Ayra makes it in as a playable character, she will most likely be an unlockable character. She would be the final character to unlock, due to her great looks (she is drop-dead beautiful) and her alleged insignificance. It will take a very long time to unlock her. To unlock Ayra, you would have to play through 96 Regular Match mode runs using each of the other characters. If the number of Regular Match mode runs on the character reaches 96, that number turns green. |

Yes it does, if metroid prime does well in the states Nintendo will reconsider the number of female characters featured in SSBB and this in turn will increase the chances of Ayra making an appearance |

The principle: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think Ayra is shockingly beautiful. I like black hair anyway. I think black hair looks excellent. If she appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's graphics, she will look even more beautiful than she already is, according to my looks standards. She would look so beautiful, that I could hardly take my eyes off of her. She has thigh length hair and has bangs. I think Lip is ugly. Red hair does not look as good as black hair. |

Hey! Ike being confirmed is not the end. Fire Emblem is not going to be represented in Brawl with just one character, because that is a step back from Melee. There WILL be Ayra being playable in a Super Smash Bros. game someday. Stop all those biased comments against that idea now! *Slaps Superbee with a warning* Masahiro Sakurai will not announce any unlockable characters before Super Smash Bros. Brawl's release. Therefore, Ike will be a starter character. If Ayra is going to be playable, she will unquestionably be an unlockable character. |

It seems like it is really Masahiro Sakurai. Even if that is, that does not guarantee Ayra appearing in Brawl. Ayra is better suited as a newcomer (or playable character) than as an Assist Trophy. She certainly should be included as a newcomer, due to that grim character suggestion battle at the NSider board. That would also give a second Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu representative, indicating that it is (historically) the most successful installment of the Fire Emblem series. Having her as an Assist Trophy is redundant, because of Samurai Goroh. Her standard special move is called Astra. As with other Fire Emblem characters in the playable roster, it would be a chargeable move but hit either five or ten times. Ayra may be invincible when performing Astra. Her Final Smash would be unsurvivable. I would call that "Odo's Rage." Long hair is possible to render, since there is already a long-haired character to be featured in Brawl as a Final Smash cameo. That cameo is none other than Palutena, who appears as part of Pit's Final Smash. The Devil Assist Trophy may be dummied out of the U.S. version of Brawl, because of religious controversy. |

Ayra is most likely going to be unlockable character if she makes it in Brawl. She would be the last character to unlock, just as Mr. Game & Watch was in Melee. She would be a well-designed character, sporting that long jet black hair worn down. Masahiro Sakurai will tell me on this board in advance if Ayra appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a playable character. I will be one of the first to know how she would look like in Brawl. As for the Barhara Incident in Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, Super Smash Bros. Brawl would also confirm that Ayra is actually alive at the time of ending of her original game, and that she retired to the Isaacian countryside and became a tiller of the ground. Religious controversy is getting in Devil's way of making it to the English version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Remember the Tamagon trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee? It is accessible only through Action Replay in the U.S. version. Devil sure looks good though. He enables the characters to break the rules of the Super Smash Bros. stadium. His original game Devil World was released in Japan and Europe but not the United States, due to religious controversy. |

Actually he does speak English. It has been proven in an official Nintendo Web site. Masahiro Sakurai attended E3 2005 and E3 2006 and came in contact with English speaking gamers. It sounds like it is Sakurai. Even if it is actually Sakurai, this thread does not guarantee inclusion of Ayra in Brawl. Also, I do not trust Superbee, and Superbee has very low credibility. The first post of this thread states that Masahiro Sakurai may possibly include Ayra in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So it sounds like it really is him. If it is not really him, that would be obvious and the first post would have stated that Ayra will certainly be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. |

Superbee has never defended me from terrorists. That is the U.S. government's job. He does not work for the U.S. government. It sounds like it is the real Masahiro Sakurai. I have seen a clue on this thread. If the first post did say that Ayra will certainly be confirmed to be playable, that would be too good to be true. Ayra would be confirmed as a playable character around the same time Sigurd is confirmed. I am glad Diddy Kong is confirmed as a playable character. |

There is no official identification that Superbee works for the government. I saw that Mia (Wayu) is on Sakurai's consideration list, but however, it is likely that Ayra will make it in the game instead. Ayra shall be granted entry to Super Smash Bros. Brawl's playable roster, without question and no strings attached. This character suggestion is important because of a ferocious battle over her at Nintendo.com message board. She will look really beautiful, sporting long flowing black hair with bangs. She will speak Japanese during taunt and victory poses. Her standard special move would be Astra (or Ryuuseiken as in the Japanese version), and it would be chargeable, as is with all Fire Emblem characters in a Super Smash Bros. playable roster. For reasons of balance and to preserve the true power of her Astra, her standard special move will take longer to charge fully than those of the other Fire Emblem characters. The Astra move would hit either five or ten times, depending on the length of charge. Ayra will be invincible when performing Astra. However, the Astra will not guarantee a KO. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v395/Ted...SBRcostumes.jpg The Fire Emblem characters who would be Assist Trophies should only be those who were either enemies or NPCs in their original games. This includes characters like Alvis and Eltshan. Merlinus can appear as an Assist Trophy since he could not fight and he is inactive in a Fire Emblem battle when deployed. |
