| Welcome, Comrade, to Super LP Bros. Super LP Bros is a website mainly dedicated to the magical world of "Let's Play's". A Let's Play is a video or series of pictures in which the creator plays through a video game (usually from start to finish) and explains all about the game and shows off little-known details along the way. Our aim is to bring the LPing community together. It's our goal to offer help to anyone who strives to improve their own Let's Play's. If you've read to this point I'd say it's high time you join our little community. You'll be making new friends and improving your LP's in no time. Chao Reviews By Adam the Chao As you probably already guessed these are reviews designed to judge a game by using numbers to grade different aspects of the game itself. I tend to be able to enjoy a game more than others, mostly cause I choose not to nitpick. Although there is the occasional game that is just so bad.....I usually dont buy it in the first place. But let's just forget all that and jump in the pool hoping there's water. Or at least some form of liquid, money is fine but I'll have to learn how to swim in it from Scrooge Mcduck and the lessons cost about the same amount of money I'm swimming in. Wait, I'm gettting off track here. The point is I'll be reviewing games if I feel like it. Of course there will be delayed release times and I might just not want to buy the game anyway. BUt if I play a game odds are I review it....If it holds me in long enough to finish. Reviews: Mass Effect 2 (Could someone let me know how to link to posts?) Upcoming reviews: None Yet I will do requests if possible, but mostly I'll just review whatever I feel like. Anyway I hope you enjoy my reviews, I won't spoil the big twists and hopefully I'll give you a quick laugh. Enjoy! P.S. I posted this early cause I'm planning to make a series out of this, the review will be up soon anyway. Edited by Adam The Chao, Mar 13 2010, 05:18 PM.

![]() ^ If you dont know who this is...Google it. FFF (Final Fantasy Fanboy) Final Fantasy X is favourite, Closely followed by FFVII... X-2 was a good game if you don't hate it for being filled with Fanservice. | |

How about we settle down for a good cup of tea?

If you plan to make a series of this will you be posting your reviews in the same topic? (Just a thought.) Anywho, I'm eager to see which games you'll review. I think I'll be reading your reviews as they come out. :3 Though I have no real interest in Mass Effect, I want to see how you'll review it. Well until then...

Mass Effect 2 Sorry for delays. I've been distracted by other games. But anyway, on with the review. Now, before we properly start I should mention that you have the ability to import a Shepherd from the first game and use him here. This is one feature I was extremely happy to see, especially in a story heavy game. Occasionally people from the first game send you emails or show up in certain areas. For example, in the beggining of the first game you have the chioce of either killling a bad guy or letting him go. If you chose to let him go he shows up in what is pretty much the slums of the universe later on in the second game. Alright, with that out of the way. Let's see if this really is worth buying. Gameplay 7/10 This is easily the worst part of Mass Effect 2. Not saying it's horrible, but it gets repetitive. Most fights consist of nothing more than popping out from cover to shoot at enemys that pop up like ducks on a target range. There is some strategy involved of course, The biotics and tech return from the first game and are just as useful and awesome as ever. The overheat thing from the original has been replaced with ammo, like pretty much any eother shooter in the world. In short: Combat is good, but it's a little bland. You can pretty much get through the whole game without needed tech or biotics. (Unless you play on insane) Graphics 8/10 Nothing much to say here, The game looks beautiful and I never noticed a single missing texture or bugged out window. Story 9/10 Bioware don't really score bonus points for this anymore. Although the story isn't as great as the original, mostly due to the fact that we know who the enemy is. Although the multiple endings kept me excited. Since There isn't really a good or bad ending. You can still screw up horribly if you didn't do the 20 sidequests needed to get crewmembers loyal and to upgrade your ship. (And even then you might still screw up if you pick the wrong people to join you or to lead the squad to different areas) Notes ~The planet scanning thing is a little boring, but not so boring that you will stop playing the game because of it. ~Download any DLC you can, odds are you'll like the bonuses that come with it. ~Each character has their own side mission to get them loyal, so make sure to chat with them while on the ship. Spoiler: click to toggle Should I buy it? If you liked the original, or even KOTOR, then yes, but you should probably finish the original first. (If you haven't already) |
