Welcome, Comrade, to Super LP Bros.

Super LP Bros is a website mainly dedicated to the magical world of "Let's Play's". A Let's Play is a video or series of pictures in which the creator plays through a video game (usually from start to finish) and explains all about the game and shows off little-known details along the way. Our aim is to bring the LPing community together. It's our goal to offer help to anyone who strives to improve their own Let's Play's. If you've read to this point I'd say it's high time you join our little community. You'll be making new friends and improving your LP's in no time. We may not be the most "Politically Correct" forum out there, but we all have a good time. Registration is simple, fast, and only requires you to sell us your soul.

And if you don't play if for the plot, why are you so picky about it

Because I'm an awkward bastard ;P (and mild OCD >_>)

Yea, and besides, if you miss him you can go back and play any old RE game and he'll be alive in that game. So Robikku, do you have any knowledge of what they're talking about when they say that RE6 will "reboot" the series? If that means making brand new corny characters to the series, RE5 will probably be the end of my Resident Evil days... That is unless the new characters are actually cool. But let's face it, Chris is 35. If they keep making new characters with Leon and the gang, you'll be playing as a 50 year old man. Fun huh?

Not really, Capcom are keeping their exact definition to themselves....and it could take 4-8 years to release, according to some spokespeople within the team, so it's gonna be a while before we know.

8 years seems to be a bit of an exaggeration, but I could see 4. Damn, I want the new one to come out already :(

I'll just have to keep playing the others.

As for the ending, Wesker is definitely alive. Last time he "died", he was human and survived. This time, he's superhuman. He'll come back again. And you can quote me on that.

Wesker's end is pretty obvious - the guy pretty much bit it in the BEST climactic way possible.
Capcom would be utter fools to bring him back - AGAIN - for no good reason other than to pander to fans continuously..

And also - it's been 13 years, nearly...he's already 'died' or disappeared twice...any more and his character loses more meaning and the subsequant death in this game is rendered pointless. You JUST don't cheapen a storyline like that, even if you're a games company looking for money. Capcom TELL stories better than most, thus they understand how important it is to maintain a balance between belief-suspension and downright ridiculous. You will see on Capcoms own forums the fans who appreciate the storyline over the gameplay...they attack RE4 fiercely, in fact, for being - in *their* eyes - 'retarded'.

Sorry, but he's gone - bringing him back directly without any good reasoning would result in severe downgrading of the established storyline and make 5 worthless overall...and they're trying to get Canon storylines back on track in number 6.

Just let him die, it's best for the series now...as much as I liked the guy, even I accept that.

Ok do you honestly think that if they brought wesker into the next game that it would be the first stupid mistake in the gaming industry? gaming company's do stuff like that all the time just because enough fan's want him back. I also just won't accept Wesker's death (maybe because i never played any of the other game's thus not seeing him die enough IDK )

Sorry, bud, but bringing Wesker back probably isn't going to happen.

Fans have been waiting years to finally put an end to Wesker. So bringing him back now wouldn't be a good idea. And also think about this:

In every RE game, the main antagonist dies. In 0, in kill James Marcus. In 1, you kill the Tyrant. In 2, you put an end to William Birkins (aka G) and Mr. X. In 3, you kill Nemesis. In Code Veronica, you kill the Ashford Twins. In 4, you kill Saddler.

Unless you've played the other games or have general knowledge of them, don't try and say they're going to bring back a character they've killed. -_-;;;
