Who here believes in aliens? The idea of the Greys, Reptilians, and the like seem kind of interesting to me. I'm trying to keep an open mind even though I haven't had a first hand encounter. Anyone want to comment? |

Definitely. The existence of Earth as we know it seems to be a coincidence, with all the requirements for life lining up perfectly. I don't know if this was an act of a higher being, or if science did all the work. (I believe in a God, but that's a subject for another time.) Regardless, I find it hard to believe that these same coincidences couldn't have happened on another planet, somewhere out there. Now, how advanced these creatures would be and what their appearance would look like is another matter entirely. For all we know, they could be super-advanced, nigh-immortal life forms. They are equally, perhaps more likely to be something similar to what we would call 'primitive'. In any case, the universe is huge. I don't doubt that there is something else out there. |

I definitely believe in alien life forms. The odds with all the trillions apon trillions of plantes in the universe is enough to convince me that the earth can't be the only planet to get the formula for life right. |

If the universe is big, dosn't that increase the chances of another planet having life in some form or another. Even if there are no aliens, then wouldn't this be a pretty lonely universe? EDIT: Only now do i realize you said you don't doubt |

That was the general idea. Only a small part of the universe is known to us. The chances of something else meeting the requirements for life are very high, methinks. |

Eh, my views shift continuously - Personally, if Aliens are avoiding earth, it's because we suck as a society...the whole Anal probing thing is probably now just them toying with us for their fetishes for the LULZ. Or something.

There's a large difference between thinking they exist and thinking they've been to Earth. As vast as the universe is, I think it's kind of foolish to think there isn't SOMEthing out there somewhere. On the other hand, I'm pretty doubtful they sneak around our planet and only a few residents of Kansas have been able to see, meet, be abducted, and probed by them. |

Aliens. In my opinion, absolutely not. Even if there were we'll probably never see them so we may as well mark them as nonexistant |

Speak of the devil. I created this thread, and now, I've just seen my first UFO. I filmed it too. The UFO was above my house for about 45 minutes. Ask Ankarua, he's seen the video. EDIT: The video is up now. You can see it here. |

I believe that UFOs are the government testing out their new toys ![]() But as far as actual aliens go, I don't know. If they do exist, they could be anything from little blob to something along the lines of a humanoid. It all depends. There's still the possibility that the Earth is just the freak of all the planets out there. There's just no way to tell. Considering the next galaxy is light years away, there's no real way to tell. We'll probably never be able to create a spaceship powerful enough to make it to one. For all we know, there may even be aliens in the Milky Way. There's so much more that we can explore in our own galaxy, much less our whole universe. |

I totally believe in aliens. It seems impossible to think that there isn't at least some life out there... I'm sure that they have probably visited us before, too. I just hope we can know the truth soon. |

My opinion is that there are Aliens, doesn't mean they are intelligent or human-like. They can be similar to any species of animal we know and love or something we can't even imagine. I don't really believe that they would come here and make earth their home or takeover or blah blah....unless they already have

I still find it weird that I saw my first UFO a day after creating this thread. I've always been a skeptic before I saw it. Thank God I had my video camera ready. Seeing a UFO is the kind of thing you always hear that someone else sees. Heh, it's amazing that I actually saw and filmed one first hand. Not to mention, it was Friday the 13th. |
