A continuation (or possibly an evolution) from my orignal How NOT To series of comics, the "How NOT To" Guy has made a lever that lets him change the theme of the comic at will.

So far, he's used it to temporarily turn the comic into another, more popular comic and monochrome-a-tize the comic, both experiments with mixed results.

Today, in honor of an up-and-coming convention visit, we went into what the comic might look like if it was a manga.

Speaking of reckless abandon, I fear my How NOT To lads may have ventured into some dangerous waters. Starting in this comic and continuing again here we're fully going after Questionable Content-like comics.

I hold no personal ill will towards QC (I'm a fan, and so is my wife) but just like Bob and George ushered in an era of bad Mega Man sprite comics, QC broke the dam on 20-something neo-hipsters in cool shirts standing around places and talking about stuff. I think it's kind of like Friends for webcomics - I'm really aiming at every OTHER "Must See" wannabe that came after them.

Ok, I admit it, I lol'd at that your guys trying to be deep. "Let it out, man, let it all out." Classic.

Seems my buddy Eric over at Exiern decided to visit the strange world of 20-something hipserts, too. http://www.exiern.com/comic/filler/aspvsq/pt4/

It's an alarming trend... kinda like remaking every movie ever made. Remember when the art of doing that was actually subtle?
