Stopping Cats with Knives Posts: 136 Group: Moderators Member #33 Joined: November 30, 2006	A lot of you know I'm a graphic artist. To those who don't, go here. Moving on, it's time once again to put my skills to the test. To put it bluntly, I want to draw a roleplaying character from just about each and every one of you. And I mean your favorite character. Your character that's pretty much your personal avatar (ie: Myself=Lazule, Auron=Auron or Kelron, Shard=Shard). I'll accept the cases where there's two characters that define you, but let's keep it to two or less. Through this, I want to eventually get to the point of making a wallpaper of our all characters like I did for one of our earliest forum incarnations (before a lot of drama went down). It's high time we christened this place with another group pic! Give me appearance, hobbies, avatar pics, hell, just put a link to the bio if you've got one. One by one I'll post the individual characters in the art section, so if you submit, keep an eye out for a message from me. Hopefully, this'll turn out really good like last time! ^_~

There's some random pictures I've edited of Amadis in a link there, too, but I'm sure if people haven't seen enough pictures of me my true levels of vanity haven't shown themselves yet. What should be even more interesting, though, is seeing other people's characters drawn. Always fun to see characters in some more physical form.

Posts: 3,426 Group: Beta Testers Member #18 Joined: November 27, 2006	Well the one that I identify with the most would be Larson, which you can find his info easily at http://www.geocities.com/duosheilds/iloan_larson The picture I have for him there is pretty much how I see him for right now, however if you want to work with a bit better reference, you can use some of Daisuke Saiki from X/1999 as well. As for the hobbies, is it our personal hobbies or the characters?

He's not really out to have big adventures or find trouble, so he generally dresses like a normal human being, and is more or less based on this guy: Posted Image His day job is a pro-wrestler, which he's turned into a modified fighting style. His main weapon is called a chainblade, which is two highly decorative long knives which either fit together as one weapon, or can seperate via an extendable thin, but highly durable chain that fits inside them. He can use it as a grapple hook for swinging, so maybe you could draw him in that sort of pose.

Evasto isn't so much either but he's as close as one can get. His bio can be found here. The second charrie is one I haven't gotten a bio posted yet since she's part of a future story arc, and I intend to post her when that time comes. I do have a pic of her and it can be found here.

Ditch and Twitch are my avatars here, being my only characters. Ditch is mostly seen as a normal looking ten-year-old boy, except for his white hair and silver eyes, wearing a button-up short-sleeved shirt and slacks. Like this guy: Full Face His expression is deadpan most of the time, whereas Twitch (though he is mostly seen in a similar form) has a wild smile and his eyes are a bright teal color. Twitch's hair is spiky brown and he dresses in a t-shirt and knee-length shorts...like a plain version of Sora from Kingdom Hearts, now that I think about it. No decoration or patterns on the shirt or shorts, just simple. The closest I've found for his face is here: Abnormally calm That's more like it... Twitch is hyperactive, random, and likes playing pranks and puns. Ditch wanders and watches, studying things around him. Neither have much in the way of a social life. If you want to ignore the pictures, that's fine, the only identifiers for them are their coloration, clothes, age, and attitudes.

Hey, cut me some slack. I haven't been around for a while ^^; Anywho, I'm VERY pleased with this turnout. Now please understand that there will be no set order to this. I'll draw them in the order inspiration hits. And technically Karen, I've drawn Aria. You've just never seen my sketches. winks But yes, reminders would be good. I'm hoping my style has defined a bit since those pics of Kal and Sonia XD Larson: I mean personal hobbies of the characters.

Hello there. Posts: 905 Group: Beta Testers Member #16 Joined: November 26, 2006	I initially held off on this for a little while, as I really don't have a bio finished for Sol, my main character. But I guess I can just give you a description, and see how it turns out. Height: 6'4" Weight: fluctuates Eyes: Red, with tiny flames swirling within the irises. Think almost Sharingan, but with orange flames instead of little teardrop-lookin thingies. Hair: Red with yellow highlights. It's usually kept pretty short, although sometimes he'll make it look a little longer for the "badass" look. Physique: Slim and toned. Not huge, bulging muscles, just well-defined ones. Clothes: White or black pants, with a border of flames around the cuff of the leg. A white or black vest with an image of a firebird embroidered on the back. Hobbies: Sol enjoys pretty much anything, but he's usually flying around exploring the city, looking for interesting stuff to film. You can never have too much footage!
	My word, is this sig old or what?

Larson's personal hobbies are practicing fighting styles and magical spells lately ever since he was brought to this realm. Haven't had a chance to develop him much as of late because of stalls in the UT thread with him. If it would be easier, we could use Marcus Whitfield. He looks a lot like Kamui Shiro from X/1999. He's active, rash and easily angered. He has a darkness within him that threatens to corrupt his soul if he doesn't find a way to keep it in check. He has telekentic prowess as well as some force lightning like powers like star wars. He also transforms into a "devil jin" like creature from the Tekken franchise.
