He waved to Zero as they went by, who raised an eyebrow at him. When they got outside, Sol wrapped his arms around Dyna's waist, his wings materializing and lifting them up into the sky.

"<Good to see you've been keeping busy all this time, Sol.>" Dyna would hear, as Sol had just heard, a female voice, speaking an unknown language that sounded like a mix between one of the romance languages and something Native American. Sol abruptly broke the kiss, his head popping up straight, face looking as if he had just seen a ghost. He spoke slowly, shakily, in reply, the same language the woman's voice had just spoken. "<Y-y-you... You're... really... here..?>" He slowly looked in the direction from which he had heard the voice, to see a woman, about Dyna's height, with peculiar-looking straight black hair with bright fiery orange highlights. Her hair was about shoulder length, and looked unruly and spiky. She had eyes that quite nearly matched her hair color, and her skin was a deep tan. She was wearing a white spaghetti-strap tanktop and black flameprint capris. "<Why so surprised? Don't tell me you didn't expect me to survive!>" "<No, it's not that! I was hoping... knowing you were alive, but I'd just lost all hope of seeing you again... You could've gone anywhere... I... I didn't know what to do.>" The woman smiled, "<So you did what you do best. Captured another girl's heart, I see...>" "<You're not angry? Even though I've-->" "<--fallen in love with someone else? How could I? In case you didn't notice, I have company as well...>" Standing next to the woman, and a few steps back, was a man, about Sol's height, and looking damn near identical to him in everything but hair color and facial features. Sol facepalmed, sighing heavily. "<You can't be serious.>" "<What? I think Ivan is quite charming, myself. You don't know him, so you can't judge.>" "<Oh, I bet I know him better than you think I do. I betcha he's just me with blonde hair!>" "<And I bet you she's me with brown hair and... fox ears?>" The two both sighed, simultaneously admitting, "<You're right...>" They looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds... Sol was the first to speak. "Alia..." Alia closed her eyes and smiled. "<It happened again, didn't it?>" "<Yep, I think it did. So... same thing as last time?>" "<How long?>" "<I guess until we find a way back home... or until we find the kids, whichever comes first.>" "<That sounds okay to me... Besides, as great of a guy as Ivan is, he doesn't want a commitment, so things should be fine.>" Sol looked at Dyna, sighing. "<I'm not sure if I could say the same about Dyna... or about myself.>" They both got quiet, not even realizing that they had probably just confused the hell out of their respective dates.

She couldn't make out what either were saying, so was quite confused, but didn't want to seem as if she were prying into their business. She looked over at Ivan and smiled, waving to him to acknowledge him, since he seemed to be the same way, before kinda glancing about. She waited until they were done, then slowly walked over to Sol. "Is this an old friend?" She looked over at Alia with a questioning, though not rude, look. "...Or an old foe?"

What's the deal? Who is this guy? Somebody from home?" Sol and Alia simultaneously made similar reactions upon hearing their dates speak. Sol winced as if being stabbed. "Uhh..." Alia smiled nervously. "<So you didn't tell her either, huh? Glad I'm not the only one...>" "<We might as well get it over with, all at once... No use keeping secrets any longer.>" He looked at Dyna, a clear look of stress on his face. "Look, Dyna... there's something I've got to tell you... And I should have told you before... I'm so sorry... Alia... She's not just a friend. She's..." He sighed, trying to regain his composure. "She's my wife." Alia, meanwhile, was having a similar conversation with Ivan, who was taking it a lot easier than expected. He smirked, "Woah, relax, don't worry about it. I'm cool with you being married an' all, as long as he is... After seeing what you can do, I'm definitely afraid to be on a phoenix's bad side."

She listened to him, looking a little concerned at how stressed he sounded. When he got it all out, she smirked. "Oh, it's al--" She flinched a little, as if being hit, and looked completely stunned. "OH!" She blushed a bit, still a bit in shock, not really knowing what to say to the news.

"I didn't want to tell you, because it would have complicated things... you would have been all uncomfortable and afraid to do anything with me, because I'm married. And I didn't want it to be like that... I wanted to be with you without any worries... free to have fun together without either of us worrying about something like--" "--Something like this?" Alia broke in. She had walked over, standing next to Sol, but not touching him. She smiled at Dyna. "Maybe it'd make you feel a little better to hear this directly from me: I've got nothing against you. In fact, I have to thank you, for bringing my husband so much happiness while I was gone. I can't be mad at you for sleeping with him or anything like that. We sleep around, it's our lifestyle. I just don't want you to think I hate you or anything, kay?" She smiled again, and both phoenixes became silent to let everything "sink in".

Had she been an odd animated character, hearts would be floating above her head at the moment. Her reaction was almost very pet-like, much like the two phoenixes had talked about. She nuzzled against Sol's chest. "Of course I'll take it."

"Ivan's cell number. You can reach me on that. Keep in touch, love." Sol smiled, watching Alia as she walked away, before he remembered something. "Hey, Alia... I've been thinking about something..." "Hmm?" "Why did you leave me that night you saved me from the Raven?" "I don't know what you're talking about... I haven't seen you until now." "But... I saw your fire spirits... Unless-- Oh shit." The resulting expression on Sol's face was indescribable. It could be approximated as a mix of happiness and anxiety. "Alia... She is here, too." Alia's face mirrored Sol's as she realized what he meant. "We... We have to find her!" "Don't worry, I'll see what I can do. I've met some people here, and they might be able to help us. For now, though, let's just concentrate on having some fun, okay?" "No trouble with that." Alia smiled, and walked back to Ivan. They both turned, and walked away down the boardwalk.

"Well, I've just now realized something: Somebody summoned fire spirits to save my life back during that bout with Vorgan, and only a few phoenixes have that ability. One of them is Alia. The rest of Alia's bloodline is dead, her parents both died of old age (yes, it's possible) years ago. Our daughter Sera inherited that power from her, so... if it wasn't Alia who saved me... Well you do the math." Sol was grinning from a combination of the recent events and the realization that his daughter was still alive. He hugged Dyna close to him, kissing her on her forehead.

He kissed back just as deeply, squeezing her thighs a little. "I'm pretty sure that would make anybody feel better." He chuckled in response to Dyna calling him her boyfriend. "It's been a pretty long time since I've been called that." Sol closed his eyes, savoring the taste of Dyna's lips as she kissed him again. His hands shifted to her ass, squeezing again. After a little while he broke the kiss. "So... Is there anything else you wanted to do today? Just making sure, 'cause if I take you back home... I don't know if you'll be able to walk again for a while." He grinned mischeviously, briefly licking Dyna's bottom lip.
