Sorry! It was from the Sunday Times Illustrated History of Football (tagline - 'special updated version to include Euro 96!')

Interesting to hear that both keepers have subsequently scored in a game, and no great surprise to learn that Chilavert was involved!

Frankly, I can't think of anyone I'd rather share a pint with than Simon.

Haha come on, you can't have been thinking very hard! I'm not sure I'm good enough company to share my own pint with myself! :P But okay, let's make it a Guinness!

Finally, there are many things you can get away with saying in well known company or in certinal places that don't go over so well in others.

This rings true. If I ever think of any quips about Culloden, I'll keep them to myself when I'm next in Glasgow!

I'll take that chance, Simon.
The absolute best beer I've ever tasted in my life was a freshly drawn Guiness atop the Guiness Storehouse in the 360 bar, last July!! (And I spent 3 years in Germany where the beer doesn't get much better.)

Add Pierluigi Collina to the list of those favoring video technology although I think his reasoning, "everybody else judges the officials after viewing replays, so why not let the officials use them too", is a little strange in my opinion.
