Hey, I got that idea during reading Jan's posting at group/auxlang/message/66495 which is a follow-up (sub message) of group/auxlang/message/66506. > Interslavic is not a standard language with fixed rules and a board of directors > who have the authority to tell people what they can and what they can't do. Nor > does it try to emulate one. The form its takes depends both on the speaker and > the person(s) he addresses. In general, it can be said that Interslavic consists > of three input factors: > - the speaker's own native language > - whatever knowledge he has about other Slavic languages > - elements of "scientific" Interslavic. I would like use visualization Google+ "Ripples" feature to see how hints to Interslavic (and Interlingua, Folkspraak, too) tutorials spread . The "bait" to got some visual Ripples feedback regarding attractness of Interslavic should be most possible minimalistic. So, I asked myself how did I got attracted by Interslavic (umbrella project)? Where in detail I got attracted (interferences to my excisting native and foreign language skills) by Interslavic? Basic ground I have to to start of: I'm German native with some very rusty basic knowledge of Russian and Sorbian languages. (And double dutch English, of course) I downloaded Vojtěch's Neoslavonic pdf tutorial to my Sony ebook reader. Pdf-file created for A4 print format is not that best suited for 6-inch Ebook reader. But it works if somebody has good eyes. Sony Reader can scale down A4 print to round about A5 (6 inch). During some couple of weeks I did browsing around that tutorial during commuting to work. (The Sony ebook reader has an very helpfull in-built "Look up" feature. Helps me a lot. My English is not that good. Btw, inside EPUB-file ebook-reader format its planned to create standards to add customized Look up feature. ) So what interferences to my language knowledge I found inside Vojtěch's tutorial: - "prositi" is similar to German "Prost" which is very common drinking slogan in Germany. (Same like Na Sdarówje!/ Hа здоровье!"; No, I'm not alcohol addict ;-) - "jasik" I know of Russion because I had to learn Russian at POS-school (former DDR/East-Germany). - etc. These should be only some example how to set very minimalistic "baits" inside Google+ Ripples/Circles. So, how to set that kind of baits in detail? Hhm. Good question ;-) But, I could do it that way. One demand I could do to German natives that way: "Prositi" ähnelt doch irgendwie dem deutschen "Prost" oder? ("Prositi" seem to be similar to German "Prost", isn't?) So, hopefully somebody will respond and spread it around. So how to create some more resonance water drop action? In my opinion if some "rule" to set some Interslavic (or Interlingua, too) bait is to form that Google+ Circle bait like an question it is already "virulent" by nature, isn't? So, I still need some Google+ account without creating some Google Standard account. Which seems to be possible to use that link: https://accounts.google.com/NewAccount I.e. someones could use YahooMail to create Google basic account for use of Google+ Ripples. If you intend to use Ripples Google+ without creation of full-blown Google Mail etc account don't use that default link: https://accounts.google.com/SignUp I found that hint inside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8aN66W2hpE regards, Edited by esra, Nov 25 2012, 02:45 PM.

Hm, I have to admit I can't really follow this either. I do have a Google+ account, but frankly, I never use it (I don't even know how, to be honest). |

Thanks :-) Hhm. I should mark it better. Every German sentence I afterwards translated to English, too. |

I also didn't use Google+ services before. Regarding Ripples I still have to inform more about. |
