Please consider 3 levels of "tests" for word formulation:

1. Logical, Analytical or Commonly Slavic
2. That it "makes sense" - to the people (not just the creators) - "will the people both accept & use it?"

3. Avoid "conflicts"

Please consider 3 levels of "tests" for word formulation:

1. Logical, Analytical or Commonly Slavic
2. That it "makes sense" - to the people (not just the creators) - "will the people both accept & use it?"

3. Avoid "conflicts"

Hmmm.....
That would be true for the natural East Slavic languages; but for MS and the Southern Languages?
The "Rules" state that:
"...In the case of other consonants, pronunciation tends to be more variable, depending on the nationality of the speaker:
g [g] ~ [ɦ]
v [v] ~ [ʋ]
š [ʃ] ~ [ʂ]
ž [ʒ] ~ [ʐ]
č [ʧ] ~ [tʂ]


How would a Serb pronounce this name if written with a " versus a "X" ?
