I downloaded a good polish-english dictionary from http://polish.slavic.pitt.edu/dictionary.pdf some weeks ago. And I have a czech-russian/russian-czech dictionary as a paper book.
How one can use that dull internet dictionaries? I will visit city library, and will try there.

Because dull internet dictionaries are quicker to search than paper ones.

It is istina pravda - about good electronic dictionaries. But internet dictionaries are dull because they don't explain meaning and usage. Besides, I have somewhat as 1 kbite per second, for me it is quicker to search paper.

Polish dictionary:

http://en.pons.eu/polish-english/

This is one of the best "online" Polish - English dictionaries.
It also offers:

Polish - Russian
Polish - French
Polish - German
Polish - Italian
Polish - Spanish
English - Slovenian
English - Russian

and various of the above languages with German translations

Best, it provides for Polish the Perf and Imperf - as well as the gender for nouns!

:D
Please consider 3 levels of "tests" for word formulation:

1. Logical, Analytical or Commonly Slavic
2. That it "makes sense" - to the people (not just the creators) - "will the people both accept & use it?"

3. Avoid "conflicts"

steeven, you can find a good slovenian dictionary at www.pons.de
Croatian mrziti has iti because of ikavism of jat in some positions. Croatian actualy have mrzjeti.
But thats not important anymore because nenavideti wins anyway.
Ah! www.pons.de
Thank you!

NENAVIDETI: Yes, this seems to be the conclusion of this. My SR/HR/SL kolegi will grumble. So it goes!
I wish we had a pinned topic at the top of the forum where people could post slavic dictionaries

Well, I posted that earlier one - but just for Polish. I did not realize that other languages were available at that site.
I think that Igor was referring to a specific "REFERENCE" thread - that lists all available dictionaries - where we might post future resources as well.
Thank you!
