Progressive palatalization:
k, g, h -> c, z, s
First regressive:
k, g, h -> č, ž, š
Second regressive:
k, g, h -> c, z, s

Read about the palatalizations here:

the g palatalizations went through an intermediate stage of dz and dž, but were later simplified in most languages

second regressive palatalization gives š and s reflexes, but s is more common

Give some examples, please. How it would work in slovianski?

otьkos -> otьcos (progressive palatalization), then the s is dropped and we get otьcь, when yers drop we get otec by havlik's law

but otьke doesn't go through the progressive palatalization, it goes through the regressive first, so we get otьče, otče after the loss of yers

the second regressive is before a yat, so it's it words like zvezda which is gwiazda in Polish g -> z change in Polish didn't go "through" the v

These changes are mostly ingrained in the vocabulary, but optionally in the locative:
duh -> o duse
sneg -> o sneze
ruka -> o ruce

that's the second regressive
first regressive occurs sometimes when suffixes are added
duh -> dušni
sneg -> snežni
ruka -> ručni

the progressive palatalization is what we have to keep in mind when we add suffixes too, since konec has an ingrained k, so:
konec -> konečni

Slovianski needs k, g, h > cz, z', sz, because all languages have it (I guess every language has ruka > ruczni, not ruka > rukni). But k, g, h > c, z, s is not needed for declination, becuase a lot of languages can do perfectly without it.

gvezda -> zvezda is better than leaving it gvezda, so I disagree, and so does the the voting (East + South vs. West)

Yes, I meant we don't need it in declension.

If people want it, they should be able to use it, the majority of Slavic speakers do have this in declension
