Nai smiled softly as she walked, the warm air was flowing smoothly, keeping it from being hot.. She giggled lightly, as she stepped over to the water, letting a bare toe dip in, before she moved, hiking up her dress some to step in. Smiling, she giggled lightly as she was soon up to her knees.. Oh who cares? She dropped her dress and let it get wet as she stepped further in, smiling warmly, as she was soon up to her waist, letting her hands lightly skim over the water...

With a giggle she moved further into the water, and once deep enough, she dived under, not thinking about the fact she wore her white dress, nor of the fact what water seems to do to fabric, especially white when it clings to you...

She surfaced, taking a breath as she moved her head, letting her hair go behind her, giggling as she moved her hand, pushing her hair back behind her shoulder before she moved again.. A soft laugh escaped her as she moved and relaxed in the water laying back slightly... A soft smile rested upon her lips..

But with a thought, she moved, rolling over in a sense, and was soon back to the shore, Dripping wet, she moved to sit at the bank, leaving her feet in the water, and she moved laying back, one hand behind her head, the other lightly resting on her stomach.

It had been about a week since Gregori had last visited the Guardian Lands. It had been surprised to find these area so empty compared to his homeland's guardian area. Perhaps the others that had been here before had killed each other off, or left for one reason or another. These trouble thoughts caused Gregori to frown. If there were no guardians here, then the lands would eventually erupt into chaos, whether the wolves realized this or not. It had shocked Gregori to find that most of the being here didn't even know of guardians! It would take much time to teach the wolves and humans here about his kind, and Gregori wasn't even sure if he was willing to take on that task..perhaps he would reveal himself to a pack that he felt needed protection..Although it would be nice to be called upon by an alpha in the proper way.

But he was getting off track in his mind. These lands were shockingly void of his kind. He was certain that at times he had sensed the presence of another one like him. There even seemed to be a second unknown presence. Yet as Gregori looked for them, he found none. Perhaps they didn't wish to be found..or perhaps they were afraid of him because he hadn't been born in these lands. Yet all guardians were create by the Great Ones..Perhaps the others just didn't know he was here. Gregori had spent most of his time wandering in the human cities, the pack lands, and here in the mystic grounds he spent most of the time either in the shinning forest or near the sacred tree. He couldn't help it, he was of the earth so it was only natural that he felt most at home wither on a mountain or in the forest..any place with plenty of reach health earth for him to feel.

However today his seeking would lead him to an area that he didn't visit often in the mystic grounds. There was another here, one of his kind, and this time he wouldn't allow them to just slip through his fingers. And if he could, he would find out more about this area from one who was like him. Using the large wing span he had in his guardian form, the old male propelled himself to the area that held the shimmered waters. Metallic colored silver orbs soon fell upon the one who was like him. Spreading out his wings, the golden colored dragon floated down lightly, landing a good ten feet away from the female. "I was beginning to think that I was the only guardian here.." Gregori stated calmly, his voice not showing much emotion as he changed his form to that of a human appearance.

Nai had been nearly asleep when there seemed to be a burst of air, but soon after, another was speaking, and she gasped sitting up, ilooking over. Forgetting she was wet, and forgetting, her dress was practically see-through.. "y-your.." She stammered softly, but soon she squeeled and jumped up, "I knew I wasn't alone!" she exclaimed as she seemed to do a little dance on her own, grinning a bit. "Oh, I just knew I wasn't the only one!"

Two things Gregori had not expected to see today, one that he hadn't expected to have to deal with at any point. The first thing that he hadn't expected to find was another of his kind, something that he was quite pleased about. If there was one, then the other presence he felt meant that there was another, and that his senses weren't completely off. This was a good thing. The other thing Gregori hadn't expected, wasn't exactly something that the tall male knew how to address. The moment the female began to stand up, a slight look of realization flashed through Gregori's eyes before he adverted his gaze. Did the woman not realize that her dress did not shield her body from being seen? White clothing and water did not mixed, something all females had to look out for, unless they wished to show off themselves without taking their clothing off.

But one thing about Gregori, was that he was a gentleman who valued respect above many things. And so being respectful he kept his eyes adverted off to the side. "No, you are not alone. In fact, I suspect there is a third one in this area. Yet the location of this stranger is unknown at the moment." Gregori responded, disappointment in his heart. If she did not know of any others in this area, then it was quite possible that they were all that was. And if she didn't know of others, was it worth it to question her about what happened to the others that should have been here in these lands. Hmm. "I am called Gregori." He stated, keeping his eyes adverted still. The old one just couldn't break from the habit of talking like an old person from another time, it was a part of who he was.

Nai blinked, but tilted her head to a side.. why wouldn't he look at heR? She looked down and gasped, D'OH! She moved her hands, letting them pull every last drop of water from her, letting them go back to the lake/pond, that was the shimmered water, blushing darkly, "I-I'm sorry, I forgot.." She stated softly..

The dress as it normally would be now, non-see-through.. XD... "I.. was use to being along.. I never imagined anyone would ever be here.." she stated softly, shifting her weight slightly as she blushed... But he gave his name, and soon she smiled gently, "My name is Nai." she stated smiling warmly. ^_^

Now this made things very interesting, with his peripherals Gregori watched as the female moved her hands, the water removing itself from her clothing and returning to the shimmered water. This meant that she was a guardian of water. This was something that would allow Gregori to be more at ease around the female. Just like fire and air worked well together, earth and water worked well. By her mannerisms, Gregori could also tell that she was of a good guardian type. He might have been the more neutral kind, but he had to admit that that there were times where he preferred to be around those of a good nature instead of those of a bad nature. So far so good for Nai passing Gregori's first inspection. Although the dark haired male had to question the age of the other. She seemed quite youthful.

"It is understandable." Gregori stated, finally able to look at the female straight on. "I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one here myself. It is pleasing to find another here. Yet I must ask, how long have you been here?" He also began to wonder if she had sensed him at all upon his arrival. So many curious questions to ask. It was nice to have a name to finally go along with her warm personality. Nai fit the female quite well. Yet despite all the emotions that he should have been feeling or expressing, Gregori remained his same stoic self, showing only slight fluctuations in his eyes from time to time.

Nai smiled gently, and was quiet as he turned to look at her finally.. He had very pretty eyes, she wouldn't deny that. How long has she been here though? "I think a couple of days...." she stated softly.. She must of sounded stupid.. She didn't know how long she had been here... She didn't keep track, because she didn't think she had to... "You?" she asked gently in return.

Silver pools now watch the other guardian, their depths darkening as he thought over her answer, and how he was going to respond to her question back. So she had only been here a few days herself, interesting. If he found the other guardian, he would have to wonder if they were from somewhere else as well. He wouldn't doubt that they told him that they had just arrived here also. From the looks of it, it didn't seem likely that a guardian of this land was born here. A small frown twitched at the edges of Gregori's lips, but didn't make it past that. If there were no guardians here that were born in this land, how would they learn of what happened them? More so, Gregori had to question just what lead them to be here? The pale man was certain now that it had been a calling and not a want to explore that lead him to these lands and away from his first home.

"I have resided here going on two and a half weeks now." Gregori admitted, noting the fact that he had been here longer. Though it wouldn't hurt anything to ask her the questions that swirled in his head. "Do you know anything of the previous guardians of these lands?" He asked lightly. As he awaited her response, Gregori took this moment to tie his long hair back with a leather tie. It then occurred to him that Nai wasn't from this area, so she must have hailed from somewhere else. Letting the curiosity get to him, he tilted his head just slightly as he looked at her. "Where is it that you hail from, if you do not mind me asking." Gregori stated, unable to break from his old world diction.

She was silent as he was, her hands behind her back as she stood quietly, still barefoot from earlier.. She gave a nod at his answer.. But at his question, for a moment she didn't know, but it seemed to snap into her brain, and she spoke softly, "They got to attached to one, of what they were to protect, and so they couldn't protect them as they should have. They were dispersured into mortals, and they eventually died out, which is why we were created. To take their place in their roles of the world."

She blinked at his next question, she smiled, "I came from the Eastern shores, I grew up along a beach." Which was probably why she was granted Water. She smiled warmly, "What element are you?" She found herself asking soon after.

An answer that sounded plausible for the cause of this area not having guardians issued itself from the female's mouth. Gregori found himself quite surprised that she had one, yet the surprise neither showed on his face or in his eyes. It was good that she knew this, now he had an area to look into when he tried to find out more. In basic, the guardians who had lived here before had fallen in love with one of the mortals and their guardianship was taken away...or..perhaps they had renounced themselves as guardians so that they could live and die with the mortals. Gregori had never been in love, and so the thought of giving up being an immortal guardian seemed like a strange thought to him. They were meant to protect the mortals, befriend them, even love to an extent could certainly be fine, but giving up what they were, that was something else.

"Perhaps in time, our numbers will grow. There are at least for pack lands to watch over, and to be fair there should be those to watch over the human cities as well as the wolffiends." Gregori stated. It wasn't a matter of good and evil to him, there were only those being protected and those needing to be protected in his eyes. At Nai's response to his question, a curious look grew into his eyes. He had not been born here in these lands, but rather in the old country in a range of mountains. Hearing her question, Gregori remained impassive as he responded. "I am of the earth." He stated, lifting his hand as he commanded a bit of the ground to move up with it.

Nai smiled warmly, so he was Earth huh? "Must be able for you to reach trees!" she stated with a giggle.. Unlike him, She had to climb up trees just to get an apple.. XD.. She smiled warmly, before she bounced lightly, giddy, "What do you want to do?" she asked happily. It's been ages since she got to do anything with anyone else! "Do you like swimming, or hiking, or.. Do you want to go explore somewhere?" she asked happily. ^_^

There were very stark differences between the two guardians that stood here, and once more Gregori had to wonder just how old the female was. She acted almost like a human teenager with too much energy would. This was certainly not how Gregori had envisioned other guardians to act, but he supposed that they were all different. This one acted very childlike and kind, whilst Gregori was stoic and reserved, almost like a moving statue at times. It didn't surprise Gregori that others got made at him for being so emotionless. Now he wasn't truly without emotion, that was a common misunderstanding. In fact, he was quite the feeling person, he just didn't show it and he most definitely never allowed his emotions to control him. If they were colors, Nai would be white, the color of her dress, while Gregori would be gray, the color of his eyes. Funny how that worked huh.

No longer wishing to just push the question to the back of his mind, Gregori focused on the female. "How old are you?" He asked almost bluntly as he watched her bounce a little. Yet the questions she posed to him caught him a little off guard. What did he like to do? Hmm, he had never really thought too hard about the actions he made and whether he liked them unless they were really important actions. Gregori was practically a stick in the mud compared to the rest of the world when it came to fun, sure he had the things he liked to do, but he doubted others enjoyed them as much as he did. Finally finding an answer he responded. "I like to read books and learn of new healing techniques." He responded truthfully. Yet when Nai listed a few things that she would consider doing, he thought a little more carefully of his own answer. "I like to people watch...and explore new forests." Gregori didn't like swimming, truth be told, and hiking was alright, but it depended on where on did such actions.

Nai blinked, but giggled lightly, as she soon smiled warmly, "Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to ask a woman her age?" she smiled warmly though, "Well.. Human Wise, I'm about 22." she stated smiling warmly, She just was very child like, and she was happy-go-lucky...

She was happy when he answered her question thought... He liked to read hmm? "What books have you read?" she asked curiously, She read a few, it was a 'nothing better to do'... She liked reading, It just wasn't her favorite thing to do. Now, she loved it back when her 'mom' use to read to her... But that was beside the case.. XD

Nai's joke and humor was almost all but lost on Gregori as he simple stood there and stared at her. Only on very rare occasions did Gregori truly get into the mood of joking or playing around, and so at all other points others words were simply wasted on him. He would wait until she had answered him before he responded. And yet the answer she had given him wasn't exactly what he had been looking for. Obviously she had an appearance that was younger that her true age, and he could have guessed that easily. No, what he was looking for was her true age her guardian age. Shaking his head slightly at her answer, he looked at her plainly. "No, I mean how old are you really, not your appearance." Gregori stated. He wanted an answer, but if she really didn't wish to give one to him, he wouldn't push any further.

The subject then returned to his hobby or reading books. What books had he read? To many to recall every single one of them, so instead he settled on a much easier answer to give her. "I like to read books about either history or the medicine world." He replied calmly. He loved learning about new ways to heal people, or poison them. And he had especially loved how humans were going back to the old ways of healing in some areas, using homeopathic medicines and studying them once more. Gregori was well versed in homeopathy and how effective in healings it was.

Nai blinked, how old was she really... "I, really dont know.. I didn't keep any track, and I didn't think anyone would ever ask me." she stated honestly. She was 'old' she knew that, but she never really kept track of the years, She was to busy having fun to do so XD..

Then he answered with he liked history and medicine books.. Oh, Medicine books! She smiled, "I have a book you might like to read that my 'mother' had given me!" She giggled, and soon was trotting over to a bit of a groove near the water, where she pulled up her leather bag, and pulled out the hard bound book...

Walking back over, she smiled as she handed it over to him. The title was faded on it, and it was hard to read. So she never bothered trying, because well, it was a pain to read it, it was faded, blurred, and just yeck. It hurt the eyes to try. "My 'mother' said it was one of only 3 copies that survived when the building it was printed in was destroyed, and they never bothered to remake them." She stated smiling, He probably hadn't read it, "It has a lot of plant pictures in it to!" she giggled, Oh, he would probably definately like reading it!

She hadn't kept track? Now that was queer, Gregori had thought all guardians would at least keep track of how old they were, or at the very least know the general area of their age, like in the thousands or hundreds. Gregori himself didn't remember the exact year he was born, yet he knew roughly how old he was. He could even remember clearly all of the major and some minor events that happened as he grew and watched over the towns that surround the Carpathian Mountains. Hmm, perhaps he could help her remeber her age, or figure out how old she was. "Do you remember any major events that might have happened when you were young..or perhaps how the mortals spoke and dressed, even knowing what technology was about could help you to find out how old you might be." Gregori stated, a bit of curiosity coming from him. He loved history, and so figuring this out was something that was quite interesting to him.

And for a swift second, Nai truly surprised him with her words and actions, his silver orbs showing this surprise as he watched her. She had a book for him..that her 'mother' had given her. She would give him such an object? No perhaps she would allow him to read it and want it back, yes, that made more sense. For Gregori knew the importance of an object given to another by their 'parent'. He had himself in his early life spent time with mortals he viewed as parent figures, and anything they had given to him he held near and dear to his heart. Gregori's shock grew even greater as she handed the book to him..one of only three. This book was rare, and only on very few occasions over his long life had Gregori found books similar to this in their rareness. These were truly treasures. "You would trust me with a treasure such as this?" Gregori's voice held a softness to it as he held the book. Yes, his desire to read it was great, yet he had to make certain she knew what she was doing. He would allow no harm to come to the book, it was safe in his possession.

Nai smiled gently, 'I remember they made a bit deal about their automobiles" she stated softly. She stated gently, "After that I stuck more to myself, on a small islan with a few other people." it was more secluded and she didn't have to deal with 'dramas' the world kept pulling up...

She smiled gently, "Yes I would, You are what I am, And I just feel I can trust you, if you like medicine books so much, I trust you'd take care of it." she stated smiling, 'I've never read it, I've only looked at it, it deserves reading anyhow" she stated smiling warmly all the while.
