Moses smiled softly, Cloud hadn't had a chance to be with Moses, so he was gonna suprise the lad, with a smile, he approached his son down wind and once close enough said "Hey Cloud, how are you?" |

As far as Cloud knew, he was the only pup that had remained in the terra when his mother had decided to go to the city with the rest of his siblings. There were a few reason that Cloud had to remain. But the biggest one that rang out in his heart was that he wasn't ready to just give up and leave his home or his father. He might not have been the best, but he'd be it one day..he'd make his father proud. Yet Cloud wasn't foolish, he had listened to whet his mother and siblings had said. If his father needed time alone, he wouldn't pester him. That just meant that Cloud would have to get even better at hunting, because who else would be here to help him? The only other pack member that he knew of was one named Dante..but he had never really met this wolf.. Now, to say that the presence of another was a surprise to Cloud would be an understatement. Jumping a little, Cloud turned to the sound of his father's voice, almost in disbelief to see the male standing there. His father had come to see him? A soft smile soon began to grow on Cloud's maw. "I'm..I'm ok" Cloud replied, almost still in a state of disbelief. "I was gonna go...and try and find a rabbit...if you don't mind." Cloud said softly, a little unsure if his father wanted him there and hunting. But, so far things seemed fine, even good, so Cloud remained relaxed as he looked up to his father. Maybe his father would help him learn to hunt even better... |

Moses smiled and said "I do not mind at all. How goes your shifting?" He knew Cloud had some trouble changing forms and wanted to help. Cloud had stayed behind and well, if he was gonna be a better parent, might as well try with Cloud, right? |

Uh Oh..that subject. Cloud swallowed loudly as his ears laid back. "I..still can't." Cloud looked down, knowing he would be a large disappointment to his father. Cloud was the eldest, and yet he was the only one of them that still wasn't able to take his human form. What if he could never take it? What good would he be to them if he could only remain in this form..he certainly wouldn't be able to got to the human city when he got older only looking like this. "I tried but..it won't work.." Maybe he was just a failure..But hey, at least he had gotten his father to talk to him for at least a little while without being angry or disappointed. |

Moses smiled softly as he said "Its alright, care to try now?" Moses wanted to see what was going wrong with the shift, who knows, might be the self defeating "I can't shift." And that is causing it, or he maybe trying to hard. |

Cloud's ears perked up just slightly. Daddy wasn't mad? Well Cloud had never really had to deal with his father being angry at him or being yelled at like some of his other siblings. But, the even bigger thing that shocked Cloud, was that his father didn't look or sound disappointed in him when he revealed he still couldn't shift. A small smile of his own moved across Cloud's maw, and he gave his father a slight nod. "Okay." Cloud didn't think it would work this time, it hadn't before, but he'd try. Standing up Cloud began, his little legs shaking every now and then as he attempted the change. Yet there were only subtle things that changed, such as his fur color going to a light blond all over, or his eye color changing to a very bright blue color. Nothing else seemed to want to change... |

Moses noticed the changes, which was good, it meant he physically could shift, just not mentally. Moses cooed "Don't force it. If you try too hard it won't happen." Moses took a deep breath and said "First, relax, don't think of anything, if you tense it won't work out. Then picture what you think you would look like as a human." Moses began to shift slowly, Muzzle began to draw back, hands and arms thickened and grew, digits extending, nails flattening and soon Moses was crouched in front of Cloud. |

Hearing his father speak, Cloud found himself exhaling air that he hadn't even realized he'd been holding. Instantly, along with the air he had been holding in, any change that he had physically made went away. The small pup hadn't even taken notice to the changes he had made, which probably didn't help him in the feeling defeated area. But taking in his father's words and allowing the older male's voice to sooth him, Cloud frustrations began to lessen just a bit. Tilting his head just slightly, Cloud began to think about the words his father said to him, watching in amazement as Moses changed forms so easily. With the wide curious eyes of a pup, Cloud smiled up to his father while his tail wagged like a propeller. How come things seemed so easy when his father did them, yet when he tried it was ten times harder. "Okay..I'll try again." Exhaling softly in an attempt to calm and relax himself, the small pup began to ready himself for the next attempt. But how was he supposed to do it if he wasn't supposed to try too hard..Hmm, maybe he was thinking too much about it..and then another thought occurred..how would he look in his human form..he didn't think he'd look exactly like his father..yet..he hadn't really seen his mother's human form very much...maybe something in between? Hesitantly, with his eyes closed once more, Cloud began his next attempt. This time making it a bit further. His wolf fur began to shorten, along with his snout and ears..yet after a few moments, and with an exhaling of breath, Cloud was back to square one. |

Moses smiled and shifted back as he said "Good, your changed more this time. Just relax. You see, picture what you would look like from YOUR perspective if you were human. Like, look at your paw, now, close your eyes and think of what your paw would look like if you were human, it would be furless, it would be 5 pink fingers." Moses took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he said "Don't over think it, just focus on what you would see if you were human and looking at your body." |

At this moment Cloud couldn't understand how most of his siblings had such a bad view of their father. He didn't think they were wrong to be upset with their father at times, because there had been a few unfortunate incidents where Moses had acted in a less desirable way..yet they hadn't exactly made it easy for him either..Perhaps patience was needed from both sides, setting the blame all on one person wouldn't help. And at this very moment, Cloud could tell that his father truly did care about him..the older male even wanted to help him, something that Cloud would never expect his father to act like this. With another nod Cloud looked up at his father with eyes full of wonder. His words explained things, making it more simple for Cloud to understand at his age. Closing his eyes again, Cloud began a practice that he had repeated many a time before. This time his front right paw began to change, nails shortening and turning a more translucent color as the digits grew smaller and yet just a bit longer. Yes it would seem that with quite a bit of practice, Cloud would be able to take his other form. Learning to relax and get his mind off of the other things going on would likely help him as well. The young pup couldn't help but feel the gratitude he felt for his father being there grow. How else would he have been able to make it this far in the transformation stages. |

You just got to let it happen naturally. Kinda like trying to make yourself taller, all that will happen is that you get hurt. So whenver something is not working, take a step back, take a deep breath, let it out slowly and relax." |

Hearing the words that Moses spoke out caused Cloud to jump a bit, yet for a few moments he was able to see the progress he made on his paw. He'd really done it! He'd been able to change something! Which meant that he had another form!! The smile on Cloud's maw grew to its widest as he looked up to his father, his own tail wagging a mile a minute to match Moses'. "I can do it!! I can really do it!!" Cloud pipped up, excitement ringing clearly in his voice as he snuggles into his father's front legs. He couldn't be any more thankful at this moment. Yet one little sound echoed out into Cloud's ears that made hm pause for a moment..his stomach growled...oh..that was right..he hadn't eaten yet today..and this little pup had quite the appetite when it came to food. Cloud could quite easily eat as much as all of his siblings put together. It was like he had the metabolism of a humming bird, which was probably why Cloud remained so thin and hungry all the time when he ate as often and as much as he could. With a slight giggle he looked up to his father. "I think it's talking to me.." He snickered. Cloud had been practicing hunting a lot lately, but learning from his father would be something else! Hmm would the older wolf be willing to teach him some tricks? |

Moses giggled and snuggled his boy, he felt better about himself and started to think maybe he could do this whole father thing. He giggled at his son's belly and said "Hungry enough for deer?" Moses knew if Cloud was gonna hunt by himself, he needed to learn how to take down large prey. Normally, a pack could take down a healthy adult buck but alone, one had to settle for the weak and infirm deer. |

Cloud could feel his mouth began to water at the mere mention of deer. It had been a while since he had tasted it. The small wolf was nowhere near the size a wolf needed to be to take down such prey, and so Cloud had been hunting rabbits and the geese or ducks that lived on their terra. "Deer would be awesome! I could eat two whole deer!" Cloud responded, excited at the chance to see his father hunt. As far as Cloud knew, his father was the best hunter there was. All too often he had seen the male bring home plenty to eat, one kill after another, a track record much better than his own. |

Moses chuckled and said "Cloud, never,ever kill more then you expect to eat. If ytou have leftovers you bury them in the snow in a spot you will recall. Its very naughty to waste food and it wastes energy to hunt more then need be, so one deer will do for now and if you are still hungry, we can hunt again, alright?" Moses smiled warmly, It felt nice not being yelled at or told he was being mean. |

With eyes full of pride and wonder Cloud watched and listened to his father. If his daddy said it, then he would listen. "Okay." Cloud responded happily with a nod. There were reasons his father told him these things, and with just a little thought, Cloud could guess another one of the reasons why Moses said that. If he always hunted more than he needed to eat, then in time there would be nothing left here..even left overs vanished with time. "If we only get one..then what are you gonna eat?" Cloud giggled out as he joked with his father. It was nice to finally have this alone time with Moses. It gave Cloud a chance to really get to know his father and make his own judgments, not based on those of his siblings. |

Moses smiled as he said "There is a lot of meat on a deer, not to mention bones to chew on. Save the gut sack and esphagus, you can eat or chew everything, lips, tongue, brains, testicles, penis, tendons and the like. Truth be told, you can eat just about all of the deer if you cook it properly. In fact, the tongue, brain and genitals are all considered delicacies or the best parts of a deer, take the testicles, humans trade a lot for them but for some reason call them praire oysters." |

With the natural curiosity of a pup Cloud sat an listened as his father divulge more information to him. If he had been a human child, or even a wolf who grew up around humans, the words and information his father was telling him would gross Cloud out. Yet growing up here as a full wolf, Cloud had no problem with the words and now even wanted to taste these delicacies. If even the humans liked them, they must have been good. "Can I try them when we get the deer?" Cloud asked lightly with a tilt to his head. His father had made them sound so delicious. |

It sounded like it was fun to eat the testicles of a deer. It popped and salty stuff came out, it was almost like the bubblegum inside of a lollipop. Nodding quickly, Cloud grinned up at his father. "Yeah! Let's go get one now!" Cloud replied excitedly. Now his father could teach him what he could and couldn't eat, something Cloud was certain would be useful. Now he wouldn't have to worry about eating something and getting sick from it. The little pup was just learning a ton of new information today, wasn't he. |

Moses smiled as he headed out, talking as he walked "Deer can be dangerous, their antlers are sharp and their hooves are sharp as well. Never attack on head on, you will only get hurt. Aim to bite on the back of the neck or spine, or the throat. Also, avoid hunting the does during the mating season and very simple why you don't, where there is one female in heat, there is going to be 5-20 highly agressive males around the same area. They will charge and attack you on sight because they are in rut. As much as it seems cowardly, its better to run from a deer then get gored by it." |

Quickly Cloud fell into step beside his father, looking up to the much larger male as he spoke. IT may have taken Cloud more steps and a faster pace to keep up with the older male, but that was nothing to a pup, he had energy for days most of the time. And with the information that his father was teaching him, it would only be a matter of time before Cloud grew up to be quite the excellent hunter, one that Cloud was certain would make his father proud. Then he could help provide for the family and ease the stress that his father felt at times. A slow frown formed for a moment at the words coming from Moses. Deer were prey animals, but they could attack back? That didn't seem right..they should just take what they had coming to them and be food! Or at least that was what Cloud thought. A slight shudder ran down Cloud's spin at the mention of potentially being gored if he didn't run from the crazy deer. "What's heat?" Cloud asked Moses curiously. That and maybe a few other words his father used that didn't make sense to him. Clearly the heat his father spoke of wasn't the same as temperature..but then..what did it mean in this situation? He was only a pup, he had no idea about a lot of things in the world.. |

For a moment Cloud remained silent, blinking slightly as he thought about what his father said. "Ooh! I get it..." Cloud said, understanding the response his father gave. Unfortunately for Moses, a day would come when he'd have to revisit this area with his pups. Although at that time Cloud would hopefully be a bit more mature, and his level of understanding a bit higher than that of just a pup. "Do wolves do that?" Cloud asked lightly, curious about his own kind. "..and it can be with two males like you and mommy, right?" Cloud couldn't help but ask as well. Growing up with both of his parents being male, and the only female interaction that he got was with his sisters, it was doubtful that Cloud would grow up to be straight. But, that wasn't exactly a bad thing.. |

"Yep!" A soft smile returned to Cloud's maw at his father's actions. He loved the affection he was receiving, as well as the words of encouragement that his father spoke. So it didn't matter who Cloud was with, his father would accept him. Well that was one less thing for Cloud to worry about. But soon a not so happy tummy growled once again in protest of not receiving food yet. "I don't think he's happy." Cloud giggled, his mouth watering for another few seconds as he thought about the food his father described. Hopefully a deer would pop up nearby. |

Moses chuckled and said "Alright, lets eat." Moses headed to where he knew Deer laid for the night. He nodded to a depression in the snow as he said "A deer laid down here for the night, notice the depression and the hoof prints near it? Its a young one, most likely just left its mother." Moses nodded to waving branches, they were down wind, silently he strode forward, spotting the deer drinking from a stream. Quick as lighting Moses moved and bit the deer's hind left leg, sharp teeth biting to the bone ,severing the tendons. He jumped back as the deer flailed, blocking the deer's escape routes as the deer collapsed. Moses said "The trick is the lame them by biting the tendons in the legs, be quick or you will get kicked. Then you simply wait for them to exhaust themselves." |

The moment the words 'Let's eat' left his father's maw, Cloud went into hunter mode. Where once a loud walking rambunctious pup walked, a silent miniature predator moved as he learned his trade. Vigilant eyes watched as the elder wolf spoke, making sure he remained close and quite to his teacher. Golden orbs looked to the tracks left behind by the young deer. Cloud hadn't even thought to look for something like that before! Sure, he followed his nose to track the animals, but following something like this was a new thing for him. How clever his father was! Without making a sound, Cloud watched as his father moved with incredible speed and tore into the deer's hind leg. Instantly Cloud's mouth began to water as the scent of the deer's blood reached his noes. "Can they die from a wound like that?" Cloud asked as he watched the deer flail about. |

Moses waited for the deer to tire itself out "Depends, If you bite in the right spot, there are large arteries in the legs, one bite and they bleed out in seconds. However, as it stands, no. However, he will tire quickly. This is where patience is key. If you move in, he will gore you. He is afraid, hurt and corned, he will fight you to the death and he can hurt you. One must wait until he is too tired to move then quickly kill him. Tis only cruel wolves who make their prey suffer." |

Cloud licked his chops as he watched the deer intently, his ears trained and listening to his father despite the fact that he wasn't currently looking at him. So if he aimed just right, he would be able to make the deer bleed out. Hmm, he'd have to find these areas on the deer when he was old enough to hunt them. Golden orbs soon found themselves looking at the horns that his father spoke so ill of. They were sharp..and not something Cloud would want to find himself being stabbed with. "A bite to the neck right?" Cloud asked, finally breaking his attention away from the deer to look at his father. He didn't want to be a cruel wolf, and suffering before being eaten sounded like a horrible punishment. Cloud may have wanted to kill and eat the deer, but he had to be thankful for the animal being there for him to eat..it was bad enough the thing had to die in such a state.. |

Moses nodded as he said "Yes, either a strangle bite, which crushes the wind pipe, or a breaking bite, which is a quick twist after you bite that breaks the neck. The second one is painless and kills instantly." Moses darted in quickly and with a swift twist of his head, a loud crack was heard, like the sound a glass and sticks being broken. The deer slumped at once. Moses said "You then must quickly dress the deer." Moses turned the deer on its back and tore open its belly and pulled out a disgusting, slimy sack. He sat it aside as he said "Thats the gut sack. You never should eat it, because its full of germs and feces. Also, the wind pipe is full of germs. Now, ready to eat some testicles?" |

So there were two ways in which to finish off the deer if he had to bite it's neck. The breaking bite sounded like the more preferable way to handle things, but Cloud was sure that the strangle hold had its uses..especially if a breaking bite couldn't be achieved. Cloud was then shown how the breaking bite was done by his father, he would have to practice this when he got older as well. Instantly Cloud scrunched up his nose as he watched his father pull out the gut sack. It even looked too nasty to eat, and hearing about its contents make Cloud burn the image of the sack in his mind so that he would never accidentally almost eat it. At the mention of finally being able to eat food, Cloud's puppy mannerisms returned quickly as he smiled to his father, his little blond and white tail wagging back and forth with contentment. "Yeah! Where are they?" Cloud asked, not known the anatomy of a deer. Oh the life lessons the small pup was learning. |

From changing forms, to hunting lessons, to sexual and body exploration, Cloud was learning many new things today. He'd have to tell his siblings about this stuff if they didn't already know. When his father began to speak, showing Cloud what to look for, a look of understanding reached his face. "Is that what makes us boys?" Cloud asked, noticing that his sisters didn't have the same stuff. He then looked over to the deer's testicles, now curious of the taste his father spoke about. Moving over a bit, Cloud leaned forward as he sniffed the buck's groin before sticking out his tongue and tasting it. Blinking he looked up to his father. "It's different..though..not bad.." Cloud responded honestly, returning his attention to the testes in question. Too curious to wait, Cloud opened his puppy mouth and clamped it around the deer's left nut. Biting down hard as he tugged, it only took a few good yanks before the item came off. Chewing, a look of surprise covered Cloud face as the ball broke and the deer's seed spilled out into his mouth. Swallowing quickly, Cloud let his tongue hang out as he looked up at his father. "It really was salty!" Cloud exclaimed, though he couldn't help but think that it tasted pretty good. |

What was just about to have been another life lesson learned by Cloud was quickly halted by his father. A slightly confused look grew to Cloud's face as his father's words rolled out, the older male stopping his previous actions and not looking to pleased either. Had he done something wrong? Or was he missing something? "Everything okay?" Cloud asked softly. At the moment Cloud's nares were too filled with the scent of the deer because he was hungry, the small pup hadn't even noticed the scent of the other male. Hunger finally winning out over curiosity, Cloud quickly dug into the deer's side. The little one must have really been hungry, because he began to gobble down as much as he could, making the song title hungry like a wolf very true at the moment. |

Moses growled as a thin male slunk out of the woods. Moses bared his teeth in a threat display, he could see the other's ribs. The wolf must be starving or crazy to come this close to Moses. Moses gave off the scent of a virile, healthy, very pissed off alpha. Moses stood in front of Cloud as he growled at the male and snapped his teeth. |

Now this was a new lesson that was something very good for Cloud to learn. The first part of it would be that he should always be alert, there could be others in his terra that shouldn't be. Unfortunately Blizzard forest only had one other wolf here now that wasn't a part of Sage's and Moses' family. Yet Cloud's father was a mighty wolf, something Cloud could tell instantly from the stance that Moses took in defense of himself and Cloud. Swallowing what food he had in his mouth, Cloud turned his attention to where his father was looking, taking in the stance his father took. Who ever this other male was, he wasn't good nor welcome. Without even thinking Cloud mimicked his father, his own hackles raising in protest to the other wolf's presence and he bared his teeth, growling at the older lone wolf. Cloud had nothing to fear, his father was here! |

Moses stood his ground as the other approached, however, when the other stepped across the invisible line, Moses pounced, and soon was on the other. The smaller male was pinned under Moses, struggling to get free when Moses bit the scruff of the neck hard enough to draw blood. The other's tail curled under and he peed on the ground. Moses humped the other, it was not sexual, more along the lines of "I can fuck you up very very badly, literally or metaphorically." |

Cloud watched his father's actions with very intense eyes for a pup. His father asserted dominance, and it only took seconds for the rouge male to submit to his father. The actions Moses took were normal for wolves and any canine species alike, a male humping another in a non-sexual way always was a sign of dominance. All of these actions were being filed away in Cloud's mind. He was in the runnings for taking over the pack one day, Cloud needed every little bit of information and training he could get from his father. What was once a snarling maw slowly began to turn into a smirk as he watched his father. Cloud was proud of the male, and he held his own head high to let the loner male know that he, a small pup, was higher than him. |

Moses saw his son and decided to teach this wolf a lesson, he climbed off the other's back and forced him to the ground. Moses nodded to starving wolf's rear, Cloud would show dominance to this foolish wolf and he recall this moment, of a mere pup humping him. |

Being only three month, Cloud couldn't grip the male's scruff like his father had, so instead Cloud bit down on the male's side. With low growls Cloud mimicked his father and humped the other male, of course in a non sexual way. |

He couldn't have been any happier about the time he was spending with his father, and soon their attention returned to the deer that had been forgotten for only a few seconds.
