Surf. A village long since forgotten by many, except for Volke. Before the gods, came this place was full of life and vibrant with trade and peace. That soon came to an end. The village now was in ruin. It was hardly recognizable from what it used to be. The only thing that was still standign was the old church. Volke walked deeper into the destroyed village and was amazed at how the church had survived. Memories began to fill volke's head as he stared at the structure of holiness. He and Sakuya were both little kids, and they had been playing tag outside in the grasssy field across from the church. It was that day that they swore they would be together no matter what happened. That very same day, the song Volke had held near and dear to his heart, would be created. Volke would play this song and Sakuya would sing, and together they would have fun till it was time for them to go home. All that ended in a flash, when the gods attacked and took everything away from him. Volke had snapped out of his reminiscent state when he was nearly shot with a lightning bolt. He looked up towards the sky and could only see a black figure on top of the church with sword in hand. The figure spoke out to volke. "Long time no see Volke, or should i call you Migueria Tuvai?" Volke's eyes widened when he recognized that voice."Only one person would know my old name. That very same person should also know i discarded that name when if ailed to protect the ones that i loved. Isn't that right...Ziekfried!?" The shadowy figure jumped down off the top of the church and landed behind Volke. "You got me. Now its time i ended this little charade and killed you. After all You may be my half brother, but your know demon." Ziekfried raised the hand that was holding Shibien, revealing he too had a devil hand. Then he positioned himself into a battle stance. Ziekfried knew what wa sto come and drew his Dark Dawn and stood also in a battle like stance. Unlike Ziekfried though, he didn't activate the power of his devil hand. The two beagn to run in circle and then clashed blades in the middle. Shockwaves rippled throughout the forgotten village. The battle had begun. |

The prospect of journeying all the way to Bogga wasn't exactly the most luxurious thing Gust could have done. Nor was it the most pleasant, or the easiest. The Vhaz-Kri were beings only rumored to exist. Putting their faith in such things that were so highly unlikely was probably the most unintelligent thing that could have been attempted. Yet as he was mentally criticizing the plan of action presented to him by David, his brain backhanded him. He was already attempting the most unintelligent thing possible. He wasn't in a position to be picky. He regarded the antics of the other two men with only a curious stare. He noted casually to himself that each one seemed to have a bit of an ego, though this was a fact that couldn't be helped. He shook his head as if regarding children, and turned to face David. "I'm not sure about those two, but I'm game. If you'd kindly lead the way, I'd like to get started. I'd lead, but I've already gotten lost in the woods around here." |

Throughout his entire life, Valde Everto had been a demon feared by all, especially those he met on the battle field. His strength was greater than even the most powerful beings. He made the Daiyokai quake in fear, and even threatened the Angelic race as well. Yet somehow, he was defeated before he had time to properly introduce himself to his would-be victim. "Where..." He said, weakly. "Ah, you've finally awakened..." a guard said, mockingly. When those words were spoke, Valde instinctively charged forward, absolutely nothing on his mind but more rage. He charged forward, only to find that he could not move. He looked to his arms, attempting to find, and break, his restraints, only to be confused by the lack there-of. "What the fuck is going on here!" Valde barked, still attempting to break the bonds. "Well isn't it obvious?" The guard mocked. "Master Ravenmane placed a binding spell upon you... Look at your waist..." Valde looked down at his waist, quickly noticing 6 rods, each as thin as a blade, yet as wide as a caliber, slammed into his waist. *Ravenmane...* Valde thought, cursing the name. His battle with Ravenmane was the most one-sided battle he had ever been in, and, as painful as it was to admit, he was on the wrong side. He passed out from over-exerting himself after trying to break the restraints, still looking back at the battle with Ravenmane, and the one that preceeded it... Valde walked up to the gate outside of Ravenmane's tower, drew Mortalitas, and slashed the blade horizontally, destroying the gate with ease. Of course, he was met with resistance. Unfortunately, the resistance that met him was merely grunts. His blade easily cleaved through the first few, but ultimately was unable to cut through ones that arrived later. As a result, he resorted to tearing them apart. Before he could make it to the doorway, though, he was met by a large lancer, an archer, and a samurai. The samurai, who called himself Tai-Kuun, stepped forward, challenging Valde, who eagerly accepted. Their duel began with Tai-Kuun Disappearing from sight several times before re-appearing mere inches in front of Valde, his blade drawn. He backed off, re-sheathing his blade. When the blade entered its hilt, a large cut began to bleed on Valde's chest. He ran his fingers across the wound, licking the blood. Upon tasting it, he smiled wickedly, displaying his teeth, which started to become sharper. His neat white hair grew longer, and much more unkept, due to his aura becomming stronger. His skin changed to a dark grey color, three horns sprouted from his forehead, a feral glint forming in his eyes. His armor on his chest and arms bursted off, as his muscles became bigger. Spikes began protruding from his arms and shoulders. Claws formed on his hands, and two large, hand-shaped wings formed on his back. After this transformation was complete, he sprinted forward, covering the distance between himself and Tai-kuun nearly instantly. He was lucky, as he managed to catch Tai-Kuun off guard. Knowing this, he slashed Mortalitas to his right, aiming for Tai-Kuun's mid-section. This slash his flawlessly, causing Tai-kuun's wound to bleed severely. Valde went in for the kill, sending a slash directly at the samurai. This slash connected with someone's head, although no damage was done. Valde looked closely, noting the person's piercing yellow eyes and his long, light-colored hair. *Ravenmane...* He thought, excited, before jumping backwards. The Dark God positioned his left hand on the hilt of a black katana with an octagonal guard at his side, and gripped the hilt with his right. He took a stp back with his left leg, and closed his eyes. Valde grinned arrogantly, disappearing from sight. He re-appeared a yard behind the dark god, his blade raised. Much to his surprise, though, the Dark God spun around to face him, drew his blade, slashed Valde straight acoross his stomach-region, pulled the blade back to the left, removing the blood from the blade, and placed the blade back in its sheath all before Valde had time to blink. He recoiled in pain, using his large blade as a shield in an attempt to block the God's next strike. The Dark God's retaliation came fast, in the form of a stab directly at Valde's blade. While this would normally be a good thing, The god's blade pierced Mortalitas like a hot knife through butter, and pierced Valde's chest, just above the Solar Plexis to be specific. Before he could black out, He heard the god utter two words that not burned in his mind... How Pathetic... |

Unlike the decadent throne that was built for him at the Club, Sarius’s thronehall within his hellish tower was truly a marvelous structure to behold. In fact, the grotesque tower was built in order to convey not only the blackened sickness that Sarius was capable of inflicting, but it radiated a strange sense of beauty as well. Two opposite polars melded into one terrifying sight. His thronehall was sparse, holding simply the throne itself, and a black carpet leading from the door to the seat. The floor was black marble, in fact the entire room was constructed from the polished rock. Impenetrable darkness shadowed every inch of it, the only light coming from the windows that had been carved out into the opposite walls. Sarius stood before these open windows, gazing out over his city. For his position, he had little much to do. His power was rarely needed and his lieutenants operated much of the tactical purposes of his army, though they did approach him for various consults at times. Mainly he was reserved as an idle threat, though a potent one. He did not particularly relish this title, though being realistic he couldn’t really deny it either. He became aware of an alien presence entering his tower almost immediately upon its arrival, and tracked its progress as it made its way past his guards, and eventually into his thronehall. He probably would have annihilated it out of boredom had it not been one of Ravenmane’s top officers. He heard the steel door slowly swing open, and felt as the man walked in. He sensed the bow, though he wasn’t entirely sure whether or not it was out of respect, fear, or a thought of necessity. Perhaps a combination of all three aspects. The creatures comprising Sarius’s army was far different from Ravenmane’s, and their lieutenants were no exception to this rule. While Sarius’s were heavily conditioned to serve under command without question(albeit with brutish wisecracks and friendly rivalry with one another), Ravenmane’s were not as genetically altered. They seemed to retain far more of their humanity, something Sarius noted as a possible weakness. Then again, this was purely hearsay. Sarius was not privy to his partner’s methods of acquiring his lieutenants, and his observations were simply that; observations. “Do you require something, Diliris?” The lieutenant remained on a knee with his head bowed. “My Master wishes me to present you a message.” Sarius cocked an eyebrow, fully turning about in order to completely regard what Diliris had come before him for. “Then present it.” Diliris nodded before reciting, “Ravenmane has subdued him” No outward reaction, and simply a vague rasing of eyebrows in-mind. Sarius was not at all surprised. It would explain the fluctuations of power that had been arising in Raven’s district. In fact, he had been expecting the notice for some time now. Had Ravenmane not been so lazy to begin with, the matter would have been settled quite awhile ago. Rath waved him off. “Very well. You may depart now.” Again a bow, and then Diliris left. Rather swiftly, Sarius noted with mild amusement. The man was only marginally aware of the fact, but his thronehall was rather stifling. Some of the few citizens who had been lucky enough to gain a formal audience had actually suffocated under the constant pressure. Such weaklings were simply incapable of withstanding King’s malice, even such a minute quantity. Mercy to those who came under the full extent of his hatred. |

When the two blades clashed, they released a shrill harsh sound. The sound would be produced every time the blades struck each other. The two forces backed off temporarily. Ziekfried chuckled to himself and said,"Don't you see? You’re weak and that’s why you couldn't protect your home. Besides these two blades should not fight against each other, instead they should work together. That’s why I'm asking you one more time to hand over your dagger." Volke couldn't believe what he was hearing."Son of a bitch, I'm going to kill you where you stand." Volke jumped up and came spiraling down towards his brother in a shroud of fire. Ziekfried rolled his eyes and jumped back slightly to avoid the hit and then delivered a thunder kick to his vulnerable brother. "The reason why you will never beat me is because you don't fight as one. You are a half-breed. Until you can harmonize your demon side with your human side, I will always be the victor." Ziekfried jumped on top of the old church and looked down at his brother."If I told you that the girl you loved is still alive, would you believe me?" Volke's eyes widened and a look of awe was appearing on his face. "She's alive isn't she!!!" Ziekfired just laughed. "I didn't say that she was or she wasn't. I simply said would you believe me if I said she was." Volke was utterly disgusted with the man he knew as his brother. A rage he hadn't felt for a while had reemerged causing him to lose his cool. Ziekfried laughed to himself and said,"Alas I must go. But don't worry, your pain, anguish, and torture is far from over." With that said Ziekfried left his former home through a black portal. Thus leaving his brother alone in a forgotten village that no one but Volke cared about. |

Surf. Ravenmane had no personal knowledge of the location other than he ordered Ularin to destroy the village years ago. His intentions behind it had been labeled as boredom, yet only he knew the truth behind the town's destruction. He walked through the town's remains casually, looking for someone extremely important. As he walked, he observed the surroundings, trying to pinpoint the places that Ularin himself destroyed. They weren't that hard to notice, as he was the only lancer in his entire army capable of creating a perfectly rounded crater with a 10 foot diameter, and varying depths with single stabs. Though Ularin was without a doubt the physically strongest of his three lieutenants, he was also the all-around weakest, and, as it turns out, the worst possible person to send to attack Surf. He remembered when Ularin returned to Ravenmane's tower in Seraveyna. Ularin's left arm was nothing short of useless, his armor cut through, blood flowing like a river from his wounds. "He ambushed the team; we couldn't handle him then... Master..." Ularin said before passing out. Ravenmane simply looked down at his unconscious corpse. He sighed, and said a simple word. "Damn..." He arrived upon a battle between two individuals. The first was of no importance. The second, however, was Ziekfried Tuvai, a person who had perked Ravenmane's interests for quite some time. *Xylus was right on the money... Ziekfried was battling with someone... I must remember to thank him sometime...* Ravenmane thought, walking forward. Unfortunately, Ziekfried had disappeared through a black portal, exiting the forgotten city. The only person who was left was Ziekfried's opponent, his brother. "Still not able to handle your brother are you, Migueria Tuvai..." Ravenmane said, stepping out into the open, his hands behind his back, a wicked smile on his face. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, how terribly rude of me..." He doubted that he needed to introduce himself. His style of dress, the presence of his blade, and most importantly, his piercing ye,llow eyes probably already told Migueria Tuvai who he was... "I am Ravenmane..." With those words, Ravenmane unleashed a mere 10 percent of his aura, forcing Ziekfried's brother to his knees, and his Ocarina to fly 10 feet away. |

Volke's eyes grew when he heard the name of the man who stood before him. Volke couldn't believe the power he felt. It was so overwhelming that he had no choice but to fall to the ground. "Damn..." Volke's mind was racing an dhe could barely comprehend what was going on. First, his brother shows up and messes with his head. Then the dark god who obliterated the town was standing before him. Worst of all his dark dawn had moved out of his hands from the seveere power radiating from the god. Voke knew at this point he was no match for a god with his mind broken., but he knew he ahd to get revenge since Ziekfried failed in doing so. "You've taken something precious from me, and for that you will pay. Even if it means I will day in doing so." Ziek raised his power as much as he could just stand back up. He wispered, Flash Rave and made a bee-line straight towards hsi dark dawn. He clutched it firmly into his hand and now stood atleast armed against the man who took it all away from him. [ooc]Sorry bout the lateness. Sister was being a total biatch.[ooc] |

Ravenmane watched as Ziekfried's brother raised his power as high as he could, managing to stand up, and even execute a rather advanced technique to boot. Not only that, but Ziekfried's brother actually intended to battle him, despite that 10 percent of his full power caused him to fall to his knees. In that respect, Migueria Tuvai did, indeed, have some serious balls. Unfortunately, ballsy moves such as challenging one of the Dark Gods to a duel was not exactly an intelligent choice, especially considering that the particular Dark God standing before Migueria didn't even consider him a tiny threat. His only reason for disarming him of his Ocarina was to prevent him from escaping; he had questions that needed answers... For example, where is Ziekfried hiding. However, after some quick observations, Ravenmane realized that Migueria hadn't the slightest of ideas... The only person who was capable of easily locating Ziekfried was Xylus... Ravenmane looked at Migueria Tuvai closely. He was nowhere near as imposing as his brother, Ziekfried, as he wasn't as fast nor was he as physically and mentally strong; Ziekfried could still stand if Ravenmane were to release 10 percent of his full power, for example. The only real weapon that Ziekfried posessed was his Ocarina, as he could use it as a means to escape from Ravenmane. Other than that, he had nothing. "You've taken something precious from me, and for that you will pay. Even if it means I will day in doing so." Upon hearing that phrase, Ravenmane chuckled. The lack of knowledge behind the subject was what Ravenmane found humor in. "If you only knew the truth behind the destruction of Surf, Tuvai the younger... Perhaps you should you ask your brother, Ziekfried..." Ravenmane then retaliated against Migueria fast enough that he disappeared entirely. He re-appeared an arms length away from Migueria, a shimmering white sphere formed in his right hand. "Animus Trucido." he said calmly. The orb rapidly expanded and shot forward, shooting Migueria back towards a sturdy tree. Ravenmane swiftly followed Migueria, drawing his blade, Animus Messor, and stabbing Migueria through the abdomen before he managed to actually hit the tree. Once he did hit, though, he was effectively pinned there. Ravenmane smirked, watching as Migueria Tuvai's blood flowed onot the section of his blade that passed through his abdomen. Yet still he remained conscious. This was something that Ravenmane viewed as a pseudo-slap to the face. Ravenmane then releaded his grip on Animus Messor, charged all of his already released aura, plus 10 percent more, into his fist, reared back, and unleashed a punch on Migueria Tuvai directly into his solar plexis. The moment that the punch actually touched Migueria's abdomen, the aura was truly unleashed, completely annihilating the tree, and blasting a barely conscious Migueria Tuvai back through the remains of several buildings. When Ziekfried's brother finally stopped, Ravenmane was already there, Animus Messor in his hand. "*sigh* That was a perfectly good waste of my time... You really are nowhere even close to your brother... Lucky for you that I do not kill weaklings without justification..." He touched Migueria on his forehead with his index finger and middle finger, reading his mind wuickly to find where he had been before he had arrived in Surf. "There..." He said, noting the presence of three other individuals. He raised his blade, Animus Messor, watching as darkness spiraled around the blade. "Obscurum Porta." He said, darkly, before slashing his blade, and creating a large, black rift. He grabbed the barely-conscious Migueria by the throat, raising him up rather high. "I recommend that you do not travel alone anymore... It is... unhealthy..." He said, caclking evily before tossing Migueria into the void. No, he had not attempted to kill him. Instead, another vortex opened within the Void. That vortex would transport the beaten Migueria back to the group. Afterwards, Ravenmane slashed his blade again, repeating the same phrase, and began to walk into the portal. "One of these days, your luck will run out, and I will capture you, Ziekfried Tuvai..." He said, ferally before stepping into the portal, and disappearing from sight. |

Volke was badly beaten and landed near the trunk of the tree wear he was playin music. He noticed two of the group still had not left. He smirked slightly with all the pain he felt. He slowly spat out the sentence, "I told you..... I would..... find.....you first..." Volke coughed up some blood and passed out from the ass kicking he recieved. Meanwhile..... Ziekfried was in the negative realm from which he can access any place he wishes from his negatial rend potals. He happened to see the ass kicking his brother recieved and found it somewhat amusing. Ziekfried didn't expect Ravenmane to still be on the hunt. While he did find the chain of events amusing, Ziekfried felt that his game came very close to an end. "Well if he's looking for me, I suppose its time i become found." Ziekfried's eyes began to shine and a dark portal opened in front of him. He walked on through and ended up in a place where Ravenmane's underlings were known to be found. Ziekfried found them very easily and started unleashing hell upon them. Although these were weak victims, Ziekfried knew it would be good enough bait to call out the man in search of him. |

In Ravenmane's tower, the Archers' shift of guard duty began, prompting th swordsmen to leave quickly and efficiently, allowing the archers easy access. As they entered, a large black gash appeared before them, and expanded, revealing spiraling darkness. The newer Archers were confounded by this phenomenon whilst the more experienced of the brood simply stared forward, a mixture of apathy and awe in their eyes. "What a complete waste of time that was..." a voice from the rift said. Shortly after, the sillhouette of a person walked out of the darkness. This person happened to be Ravenmane. "I'm going up to my quarters. As per usual, those who decide to enter my room do so at their own risk..." Ravenmane said, cryptically before walking towards a large spiral staircase. "What was that supposed to mean?" A new recruit named Pell asked. "That, young Pell, is Lord Ravenmane's way of saying 'I am going to sleep'." Someone said. Pell's head spun around quickly, his eyes locked on his commander, Diliris, who sat in a chair within the crowd, seemingly undetected by the others. He was reading the local newspaper, particularly a bit regarding the attacks on Ravenmane's tower. "My appologies, sir, but i spoke of the second half of his message." Pell said, politely. "Ah. I see... I haven't told you this yet, have I?" Diliris asked. "Asked what, sir?" Pell queried. "Just as i thought... Well, young Pell, I give every soldier under my command the same simple warning: Even if someone storms Seraveyna, Even if someone starts attacking you and your comrades, Even if someone attacks me, and gains the upper hand, Never ever wake up Lord Ravenmane... Those who have... Did not survive..." Diliris said, before standing up, folding his paper, and disappearing from sight. Elsewhere, Ravenmane ascended the final stair, gazing upon his room's door. It was large and held no knob or handle. The only ways to open the door were to either a, press one's hand upon the door, and exert an amoujnt of spiritual force roughly equal to 5 percent of Ravenmane's full power or b, to guess a password consisting of a word significant to Ravenmane that randomly cycled every few weeks. Ravenmane chose the first option, opening the door with incredible ease. He walked in, first sitting down on his ridiculously comfortable matress, placing Animus Messor on the sword stand next to his matress. He then laid down flat on his back, his feet pressed together, his hands clasped together, resting over hsi solar plexis. From there, he closed his eyes, drifting off into sleep. Then came an explosion. Archers poured out of the tower after hearing that a figure infintrated the courtyard somehow. This figure however, took no prisoners, and began to tear through them with wanton disregard for their identity. Apparently, this figure wanted the attention of Ravenmane Shortly after turning towards Pell, an arrow wizzed past his head. Apparently, he gained the attention of Diliris instead. "Ziekfried Tuvai... I'm surprised that you had the guts to show your face here..." He said, aiming a black arrow at Ziekfried, which resonated black aura. "Spirit Arrow # 31: The Tempest." Diliris said, releasing the arrow, watching as it shot foward, then separated into 12 different arrows, each of which hunted down Ziekfried viciously. Regardless, Ziekfried dodged the arrows, only to find that Diliris was now above him. "Spirit Arrow # 14: The Piercer." Diliris said, firing the arrow at Ziekfried, watching it pass through his chest with ease. Regardless, Ziekfried immediately retaliated, sending a blast of energy at Diliris, who barely managed to dodge. While that was all happening, Pell was sprinting towards Ravenmane's room. He was sure that Ravenmane would be none too fond of one of his Lieutenants dying, and would gladly help out. He arrived at the door, not finding a handle. He remembered that a password was required, and began to guess numerous words. Eventuallty, he yelled out a word that caused the door to swing open. That word in particular was Xenias, which was the name of Ravenmane's commanding officer during his service for the Seronan army. The worried pell began to shake Ravenmane, yelling words at him in the hopes of waking him from his slumber. Eventually, after much failure, he dumped a glass of water on Ravenmane's head... Eyes shot open. Nothing but rage ran through Ravenmane's mind. Power exploded out from him, vaporizing the person who stood before him, even blasting out his windows. Diliris, who saw this from the ground, immediately made a mad dash for the tower, entering. "Everyone must retreat to their rooms immediately!" Diliris barked. Tai-Kuun and Ularin, both of whom were within the tower's main hall, looked up. "What troubles you, Diliris?" Tai-Kuun asked. "And more importantly, who the hell said you can order me around?!" Ularin yelled. "Listen to me for once, Ularin! Lord Ravenmane was... awoken..." Diliris said. Tai-Kuun and Ularin both shivered slightly, commanding everyone within their respective divisions to retreat to their rooms immediately. Diliris remained back for a moment, realizing who had woken Ravenmane... "Pell... You idiot..." He said, walking calmly to his room. |

By the soudn of the commotion it seemed Ziekfried would be getting the attention of someone higher up in the food chain. The only problem was, the troops were retreating as if something bad just happened. Ziekfried wasn't looking for a fight witht he god, just a conversations. If the god was indeed angry, Ziekfried didn't want to get slaughtered. Ziekfried sighed to himself and cast away his beloved Shibien to the ground. "He should be out at any moment..."With that, Ziekfried knelt down on the ground with one arm straight down touching the ground and the other bent. He lowered his head and awaited the arrival of his old acquaintance. A drop of sweat rolled down Ziekfried's face, and dripped to the ground. The only thing Ziekfried could do now, was pray and hope. |

And yet, the one Ziekfried had desired to see was not the first to arrive. For good or ill, Helcrai's master had deemed it necessary to step in. No other course of action would have sufficed to suit his needs. Sarius appeared without transition or fanfare. It was as though he stepped through a gap between instants, as though he slipped between the very folds of time. Indded, it would appear as though time itself slowed to an immeasureable crawl. Men and women ran to and fro, warriors shouted instructions from one to another across the city. the lieutenants screamed orders between each other to regain order, and Ravenmane's ire burned in the background. But everything shifted, blurred as if Sarius lifted both himself and Ziekfried into a different reality, shifted them slightly out of sequence with their surroundings; and all sound was cut off. The two seemed to stand within a hiatus between moments, a place where causality and result had not yet moved on to their next incarnation. Within their private silence, Sarius spoke. His tone relayed a sense of nonchalance and fury, as though he cared not for the reason of his own actions and yet was infuriated by the need to act. "Presume nothing mortal. I suffer your existance because it contrives to fulfill my ends, even if you yourself do not see it." He spoke as if he were addressing a child, forced to explain in the simplest terms to a point where it insulted is own intelligence. "And I have not come to accept or deny your private purpose. He who you have come to meet would flay you were I not to barricade him, for his beloved slumber has been perturbed. While your demise would not be any tragic loss to my plans, they would complicate matters and lengthen the path to which I would achieve my victory. Think on that and be content." A reply was not needed, nor was one desired. With a short flex of thought, Sarius released Ziekfried. Their surroundings sprang back into clarity, time marched on as though nothing had happened. Sarius still stood before to kneeling man, however, and both awaited Ravenmane's own arrival. |

Power surged from Ravenmane as if it was nothing. As a result, Seraveyna in its entirity began to shake. His rationality was virtually unpresent as he descended from his tower, Plenus Argentum in his hand, gleaming through the darkness. As he descended, he saw Ziekfried Tuvai at his doorstep, and grew even more enraged at the idea of that pertiular individual appearing in his tower AND waking him up. Then he saw Sarius. His rationality dealt a punishing blow to his irrationality, and he landed, still enraged, but at the very least sane. He held Plenus Argentum up, pointing it towards Ziekfried, allowing the blade to shoot forward, extended by Ravenmane's spiritual pressure. It stopped just short of Ziekfried's nose, still giving it a cut due to its spiritual pressure. He looked at Sarius, noting the man's stance. He was rather sure that Ziekfried had somehow become one of Sarius's pawns, and therefore would accomplish nothing other than awakening Sarius's ire if he were to kill Ziekfried. "You've awoken me, Ziekfried... You should know better... Regardless, i want to know why you are here..." Ravenmane said, as calmly as possible. "Also, I've disallowed access to the Negative realm in Seraveyna... That being said, if you DO intend to NOT tell me the information i seek, I will see to it that you are adequately tortured until you DO tell me..." He sheathed Plenus Argentum, gripping it, sheath and all, with his left hand, awaiting the response Ziekfried was virtually now forced to give him. |

"Also, I've disallowed access to the Negative realm in Seraveyna... That being said, if you DO intend to NOT tell me the information I seek, I will see to it that you are adequately tortured until you DO tell me..." Ziekfried raised his eyebrow at this statement and chuckled to himself. "Gees, give me more credibility than that. I wouldn't be here unless I actually wanted to see you. Heck I even get the other god as well. Two for the price of one minor detour through a swirling black vortex." Ziekfried stood up and stretched himself. Sitting in that subservient posture was making his body fall asleep. "Anyway, ever since you found out about my existence you've been hunting me down. But what if I offer to disappear and never be seen again? All I would ask in return is that you don't lay a finger on my foolish brother’s head and that you keep any other factors away from him." An intense rage filled Ziekfried's eyes and his blood began to boil. The day he long awaited for would soon arrive. "I'm sure your wondering exactly how I'm going to disappear. So I might as well tell you." Ziekfried pointed to the sky and turned to Ravenmane. "My brother's beloved isn't an ordinary girl. She holds special powers through her prayers. One of her unique talents is opening portals...." Ravenmane had an aura about him that said you woke me up for this? Ziekfried rolled his eyes and continued. "Not just any portal, but a demon world portal. A portal that once closed can never be reopened. I will make this demon world mine, with the legendary blade from the prophecy my hypocritical father once spat to the village. Sadly he is dead and most definitely not missed. Ziekfried walked forward and looked at the massive castle. He didn't care about the gods; He didn't care about his family. All he really cared about was his own ambitions. A Tuvai rule in the demon world was plausible. And if everything fell into place it would be a reality. Ziekfried began to laugh a sadistic laugh. His body began to change. His appearance was becoming more feminine. He was now the image of his brother's beloved Sakuya. In the most tender of voices, Ziekfried spoke with his now long black bangs covering over his gleaming eyes."Now that I've explained myself, could you be so kind as to open the portal system again. After all, Act 2 of my performance is about to begin." Ziekfried batted his eyelashes with a feint and gave Ravenmane a feint smile."I promise you'll find the plot twist to your liking" |

Shade had lost his senses at his high altitude and completely blacked out and was in a state of total invisibility, as went his powers, upon his reawakening, he found himself locked in a dungeon. Shade looked around at the high stone walls. The air was stale, but a chill breeze was blowing in from the barred metal windows high over his head. A small amount of light was let in through that opening. Shade tried to use his levitating powers to get a better view, but it seemed as if his feet were stunk within five feet of the ground. He curse under his breath. He looked around at the door to his cell. A fine wooden door it was, a small barred opening made for a window. Steel braces held the door together. Shade backed into a corner and cupped his hands around some air. He murmured incendi and a small flame appeared between his gloved hands. A smirk appeared on his face, he was still capable of his elemental magic. He turned about face to the door. He picked up his scythe off the grimy floor and pointed the top of the staff towards the door and shouted flagrare. A bright red light shot forth from the end of the scythe and the door was suddenly engulfed in flames. Shade's voice echoed in the hollow chamber. As the fire he set was magical, it would not go out without another spell, even if the entire door was now ashes. Shade walked over to the flamedoor and held his left palm out to the flames and whispered inrigare. The flames went out with a douse of water and Shade made his way to the main castle floor. |

Ziekfried's eyes changed in hue and he noticed something peculiar. "I think you have wild vermon running loose about your castle." He glanced at Ravenmane and then back at the castle, "I must be going however. An important delivery is heading to Bogga, and I must pick it up. I will leave you to your infestation." Ziekfried's body began to give off bolts of electricity that shot into the sky until Ziekfried was gone. Now apart of hsi electricity, Ziekfried would travel through the clouds till he reached Bogga. A sadistic voice could be heard from the sky laughing. "Goodbye Lord Ravenmane." With that said Ziekfried's voice could no longer be heard. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Darkness, that's all that filled Volke's mind. A small light began to appear and grow in the darkness. A long haired woman began to walk closer and closer. She spoke with the kindest of voices."Volke, go to Bogga. If you go there, you'll find me. I promise." The longed haired woman that had appeared in Volke's mind began to fade away into the lgiht. Volke's eyes began to slowly open and he found himself lying next to a tree. He realized where he was and how he ended up next to the giant oak tree. "Ravenmane..." Volke's demon blood allowed his wounds to heal fast while unconcious. He summoned his dragon once more and climbed on top. With a kick, the two were in the sky flying away. The destination, Bogga. |

Shade reached the main floor of the castle and looked around at the deserted floor. "I'm not going to take any risks with this escape act." Before stepping into the floor he whispered Abitus and just like that he disappeared into thin air. He made his way across the floor and out the main entrance. He was greeted with the dark of the outside world. The smell in the air was Death. Shade continued on through the city. Undetected by most he finally made it to the outskirts where he saw the castle's owner, Ravenmane. "So, that is who I'm up against"? Shade said to himself. Detestatus sum whispered Shade, and a black cloud began to form over Ravenmane. Shade chuckled to himself and continued to look for cover to reappear and make a more frontal attack. |

Even through Shade's black cloud, Ravenmane could see him as clear as day, watching as he desperately ran for cover, hoping to try and combat the God. It would have been a clever plan, though, had Ravenmane not been his opponent. So, in a breif moment, Ravenmane disappeared from his current location, re-apearing in front of Shade. "I see that you got out of the dungeon... No doubt Valde's doing..." Ravenmane said, half-interested. His follow-up was swift, yet fully expected of the dark god. He drew Animus Messor at lightning speed, stabbing its blade into Shade's abdomen, and not stopping until its handguard touched his chest. He then used his left hand to grab the injured Shade by his throat, gripping him tightly. Despite all of these ruthless actions, Ravenmane's face still held an apathetic smirk. Then, in an instant, the two both disappeared. They re-appeared inside of a secluded chamber in Ravenmane's castle, which illuminated itself moments after Ravenmane entered. He then lifted Shade up off the ground with his left arm, walked over to a near-by wall. He stabbed his blade into the wall, allowing Shade to observe. A door on the other side of the door opened. Through that door walked a large, demonic figure escourted by Ravenmane's lieutenants Diliris and Tai-kuun. The two lieutenants proceeded to secure the demon tightly as the lights focused on him, causing his shadow to appear almost tangible. Ravenmane then drew Plenus Argentum, staring at the figure's shadow for a moment, before looking at the cloud above his head. He slashed his blade once, causing the cloud to vanish, and turned his attention back to the figure's shadow. He slashed at the shadow, causing it to become disconnected from the figure's body. The resulting trauma caused the figure to lose consciousness. The extracted shadow was then placed in the body of a finely-clothed zombie, who looked as if he was still alive. The figure awoke, radiating the power of the shadow's original owner. "Welcome back to the land of the living. Your name is now Dorian Sanctus, and you are my undead servant. I present you with this rapier named Saevio." Ravenmane said, handing the zombie the Rapier. The zombie merely nodded its head, and was escourted out of the room by Diliris and Tai-kuun. "That, Shade, is the full extent of my ability... To bring the dead back to life in a sense... That would have been your fate as well... But at the moment, it would be a waste of my time to take your shadow... you are not strong enough yet... So until you are strong enough... I will be waiting..." Ravenmane said, cryptically, removing Animus Messor from Shade's abdomen. With those words, Ravenmane slashed Animus Messor, creating the sprialing black vortex known as the Obscurum Porta, which he threw Shade into, seeing to it that he re-appeared within the forest from wence he came. |

David sighed, noting that both Shade and Volke had left, leaving simply Gust and himself. Mere moments later, he watched in awe as a gigantic black portal formed in front of Gust and himself. He was even more awestruck when none other than Volke came bursting through the black portal, slamming into a near-by oak tree. He quickly observed his heavy wounds, and could only begin to wonder who had assaulted him so viciously and without remorse. He immediately made every attempt to stop Volke's wounds from bleeding, but to no avail. He was no healer. Luccily, Volke was a demon, allowing his wounds to quickly heal. Immediately after they healed, though, he decided to try and fly off again. "Not this time..." David said, unfolding his wings, and taking off into the sky at incredible speed. Upon catching up with Volke, he played an extremely high-piched note on his violin, and manipulated the sound wave, effectively amplifying it ten-fold as it reached Volke's ears. The immediate result was the over-loading of Volke's hearing, and his loss of consciousness. The resulting loss of consciousness caused Volke's dragon to disappear, causing David to speed forward to catch Volke. Upon making the catch, David placed Volke down on the ground. "From the looks of it, at least one of the Dark Gods know of our group. Luccily, they probably think nothing of us. Now then, here is what we are going to do... There is a port on the outskirts of Quietus that will provide us with a means of transportation to the nearest continent, Tanis. Once we arrive, we will need to make our way to the other side of Tanis, and to a similar port. Once we get there, we will take another ship to Dyrmin. Unfortunately, once we arrive there, we will have to make our way through Cyloa. Once we get through there, though, the next port is a short distance away. And when we get there, Bogga will be our final destination." David said, confident in his plan. Immediately after he spoke those words, though, a large black portal appeared before them, just as it had earlier. Much like earlier, a body fell through the portal. This time, though, it was Shade's. David immediately attempted to heal Shade with his light magics, but it was not nearly enough. "Dammit... Is there, by any chance, a healer around?" David asked, calmly. |

"Fear... not... for... I have the ability to heal myself. Shade said, making small movement with his arms like a robot. Ravenmane's blade maybe strong, but it's not strong enough to kill me." Shade placed his right hand over his wound Sanare. His wounds began to heal over, however, his other abilities were not completely refueled. He stood up and looked at Volke, Gust, and David. He saw he was at the forest he had started from. He walked over to a tree and put his hands to the bark and closed his eyes. He had a vision that he would meet another allied partner in the future. He took his hands off the tree and heard the winds howling. "Shade, it's I, Spike. Do not tell me you have forgotten your promise. You will avenge the gods who killed me and you family." came a voice from a spirit that appeared before Shade. "I have not, my my first attempt was not that great. I'm sure if you aid the allied forces and myself, we will have our glory." Shade realized that he did have some success in his attempt though. The curse cloud was slashed, releasing it's hidden powers on Ravenmane, the two guards, and the zombie. And, because of his Undead Curse, the critical stab would deal 50% of it's damage on Shade back at Ravenmane. Of course, these things would only do temporary damage. But the idea made Shade half smile. "Why are you smiling Shade?" "Just a bit of success. Nothing really great." Shade walked over to the others, with his werewolf spirit following. Spike made himself tangible to the others. Shade could see that they wanted to attack Spike. Fear not, he is here to help. A mere spirit of what he was in life." Shade saw the tenseness drop, "So, where are we headed?" |
