We're about two days behind schedule, but who really cares? This is the place where the roleplaying pretaining to the Epic RP will occur. Prety straight-forward... All participants have displayed some form of skill hen it comes to text-based roleplaying, as proven by your bios. So, there is a minimum of 10 lines of text. Any questions?

*Resoundig silence*

Excellent! Now then, let's get this show on the road...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Seraveyna...

It wasn't a modern marvel like Luminus, but it wasn't a shanty town like Xi-no-umo either. It was more of a middle-ground. Much of the city is built in stone or wood with only running water and electricity being the modern advancements. However, buildings of significance are constructed in steel and are often far larger than others. The city has a well-established republic, with the people generally controlling their every-day lives. A random outsider would be quite surprised to learn that this place was under the direct control of one of the dark gods. The peace of Seraveyna, however, is only skin-deep. The peaceful settlement that people have made is not much more than a front, as an observant passer-by would easily notice. In the very back-most part of the district is a massive, intricately-built tower that houses a large portion of one of a dark god's army. It is constructed from not steel, nor wood, nor stone, but from the god's spiritual energy itself. The motive behind doing so is, to all but a select few, unknown. While most people do not question the authority, there are those who like to take rather "radical" approach... especially those who have taken te risk of leaving Seraveyna.

An explosion in the town's center was a perfect example. When it was trigered, Rebels poured out of numerous houses, storming the large gate that was in front of Seraveyna's massive tower. They successfully broke through the gates, but immediately halted when they were confronted by three "men" standing abot 30 feet away from them. The center man was a swordsman in a high-line white undershirt, a black kimono, tied up by a white sash, hakama, and a fine white haori over that. He wore an expensive scarf on his neck, hiding his chin and mouth, and a straw hat with a veil all the way around the hat, with the exception of his eyes. His blade could easily be seen, as it was tucked in his sash. On his left, an archer in a white hakama, and a white jacket tied up neatly with a black sash. His bow, which was in his left hand, was intricately carved from mahogany wood, and had a silver string. His quiver was slung lazily over his right shoulder. And to the swordsman's right stood a man standing at least 8 feet tall. He wore black, demonic armor that had numerous horns on the mail, gauntlets, and helmet. No part of his skin could be seen through the armor. On his back was a lance that was at least as large as he was, that was also intricately carved with demonic patterns. A rather large shield made of a similar material was on his left forearm.

The leader of this group of rebels yelles fire, resulting in many of the rebels drawing fully-automatic weapons, and pulling the trigger. The person in the black armor turned towards the tower, extending his left arm. When the rebels ran out of ammo, and threw down their weapons, confident that they had won. When the smoke cleared, however, they were proven drastically wrong. As it turned out, the large figure in black armor used his shield to protect the archer and the swordsman from the attacks, and used his armor to protect himself. "Thank you, Ularin." The swordsman commented.

"What the..." One of the rebels yelled out. Before he could finish the statement, though, the archer fired an arrow through his forehead.

"Nice shot, Diliris." Ularin commented. Ularin merely raised his right hand, and shook it, indicating that he had heard him.

After that, the swordsman stepped forward, placing his right hand on his blade. "I am giving you all one chance to escape here with no negative reprocussion. Should you stay, the punishment is death." He said, firmly.

Numerous rebels ran away, but the majority stayed put. "CHARGE!" Their leader yelled, causing them to rush reclkessly at the swordsman. The swordsman unsheathed his sword, and glared forward. The rebels all stopped moving. No person on either side moved for a good ten seconds. Then, the swordsman sheathed his blade, and began to walk away. The rebels all fell to the ground in pieces. All but one, that is. The leader still stood, covered in blood. Appafrently, he was the only one who had not charged forward. He held a detinator in his right hand. His left hand hung at his side, numb. "You may have won that battle, but with the destruction of that tower, we'll win the war!" The leader yelled, pressing the button.

A massive explosion resulted around the base of the tower, raising much dust, enveloping the tower. "VICTORY!" The leader yelled, cheering.

The three warriors simply stared at the tower, fear in their eyes. When the dust settled, the tower as still perfectly in tact, not even slightly scratched. A man dressed similarly to the swordsman began walking out of the tower, towards the three warriors. "Tai-Kuun..." The man said, ominously. "What... the... HELL... was... that..." He said, irritated.

"Master Ravenmane..." Tai-Kuun

"The rebels launched another attack. This time, they tried using explosives." Diliris responded.

The dark god glanced towards the rebel apathetically. "It is fools like you that persuaded me to craft a tower from my own spiritual energy... I wanted it to be indestructible as long as i walked this planet..." He said, maliciously.

The rebel leader was about to say something, but was stopped short when he felt something wet on his left arm. He reached his right hand to find out what it was, only to discover that his left arm was missing. He looked up, and found that the dark god had ripped it off. The rebel was not sure how hw had managed to do so, but all he knew was that he was probably about to die. He ripped off his shirt, revealing an intricate tattoo with the word "Serona" in the center.

"A Seronian warrior? No... They are all dead... That would make you a fake..." Ravenmane said, unclenching his right fist, and raising his right arm. He extended his arm out as it he was trying to grab something, and glared at the rebel. "I hate fakes... Although i can forgive them..." red energy began to circulate around Ravenmane, concentratig into a very small red ball, the size of one's pinky's tip. "But what's more, you woke me up... That is something I cannot forgive...

"REMEMBER SERONA!!!" The rebel cried, just before the ball of energy shot from Ravenmane's palm at the rebel.

When the ball reached the rebel, it shot into his stomach, causing him to be enveloped inside of a ball of energy. His cries of agony could have probably been heard in the outskirts of Helcrai. When the ball dissipated, nothing of the rebel was left at all. Ravenmane then turned to Tai-Kuun, Diliris, and Ularin, his lieutanants, and walked towards them. They immediately appologized for not dealing with the threat faster until Ravenmane stopped them. "My only concern is that you have your subordinates quickly and efficiently clean up my courtyard of the guns, blood, and assorted body parts." Ravenmane said sternly befoe turning his back to them, and walking back to his tower.

((Uh, for the record: Everyone must start out in Quietus. Sorry if you guys had other plans, and I don't believe I mentioned this in the rules, but I don’t want you guys already preparing an invasion. What fun would that be? And remember, Quietus and the Dark Continent are the furthest away from each other, so have a nice trip. A nice LONG trip. =P))

[BGM: Otherworld]
The Dark Continent was very much hell on Earth in one of the most literal meanings of the phrase. It was a barren wasteland that was devoid of life outside of the cities. The rock was the color of obsidian, the sky was clogged with thundering clouds. The landscape changed between flat land, to sharply jutting hills, the steep, craggy cliffs. the weather would often change drastically and without warning, going from a pestilent and cruel heat, to a whiplashing gale that picked up enough sand and pebbles to create its own cyclones. Molten rock bubbled up from the surface in several areas, pushing rivers of lava outwards in a surreal, demonic moat that surrounded the two main districts. Intruders would be hard pressed to find a way around, if it weren't for the iron draw-bridges leading into either district.

Helcrai belonged to Sarius, of that one could tell from its mere appearance. Its sickening shape and warped existence stank of disease and pain. Its residents lived like lifeless zombies, worn and shriveled into robotic husks focused only on their daily, harsh lives. Few people found solace in this horrid city, and all were of the younger, stronger generation who had taken to Sarius's city as a survival instinct, a necessary evolution to cope with the man's desire for such black, evil things. And not a single of Sarius's residents desired formal retribution. Conflict seemed to resonate and hold within Ravenmane's section. Some believed it was his incessant lack of willpower to crush the rebels. Others thought that the pseudo-freedom incited rebellion. But a more widespread belief was held by most of the masses, a simple and nonchalant explanation. Sarius scared everyone shitless.
++++
A towering mass of steel and cables took up several blocks in the northeastern sector. It was not the biggest building, nor the most important. In the eyes of those higher up in the pecking order it was an absurdly noisy, irritating, useless piece of property. In short, it was a club. One of the few places in Helcrai that one could find a semblance of enjoyment. Here the twisted residents of this damned city congregated to enjoy the noise they called music in all its dark glory.

The reason it was still in use and not a pile of rubble was the fact that Rath derived some sort of enjoyment out of it. He had a special seat within the club specifically made for him, a throne of sorts. It was high above the dance floor, built into the wall so as to give the King a proper view.

This was were he currently sat. His frame filled the seat like a void. Through the pulsing neon lights, he was a black hole. He leaned to one side, his elbow propped up on the right arm of his seat, and his chin held within his hand. The blaring colors painted his face in various shades of madness, but his eyes remained the same. Constant pools of roiling power, unspoken chaos and rage waiting for an outlet. The still surface of the sea before the Great White leaps.

These eyes stared into the mass of things upon the dance floor. They moved their bodies in awkward beat with the music, throwing themselves about and grinding against one another in a sad show of perhaps some lost dance of invocation. They showed no outward signs that they knew of his presence. He seemed invisible.

But Sarius knew better. They knew better. For all of their animalistic behavior, they were intelligent enough to give Sarius his proper due. Each entrant in the club was very much aware of their superior, they kept their eyes away from his throne, they were careful not to speak of him or make any obscene gesture in his direction.

And they feared him. They stank of raw terror, down into the marrow of their bones. Rath felt every frantic beat of their horrified pulse, he could taste the anxiety that filled the air. It was this and this alone that gave the club its prolonged life.

But he did not seem interested in soaking up the fear tonight. His thoughts were turned away from the thronging mass towards something else entirely. Not any location or any individual person. But towards a feeling. Not the numbness or raging fire that burned within him. But towards the sense of something completely different. He felt the wind of change preparing to blow.

And he did like it. It offended him. Fate no longer held sway over him of his partner, and yet it still conspired against them. he would have to deal with whatever trouble it was preparing in short order, before things had the chance to get out of hand. He just needed to know where to look, and he had a pretty good idea. Where else but Quietus could something be found to, at least attempt to destroy them?

Shade blinked as he awoke from his sleep. He was in a cave, his hideout from the minions. He knew they weren't too much of a threat to him, at least not as much as the Dark Gods, but his power was still not fully regained. It has been some months since the slaughter of his family, Shade still hasn't forgotten the maniacal laughter he heard echo in the dark sky the night his family was slain. Shade remembered his lucky escape from the prison. "Stupid family, what were they thinking. Dragging themselves, and almost me, into a suicide stance." Shade said to himself, he still couldn't get over the fact that his family thought they could defeat the Dark Gods solely with brawn and raw attack power. Shade knew it would take more than just sheer physical strength to defeat the Gods. He knew it required a somewhat balanced platter of physical strength & defense as well as mental strength & defense, with other elements thrown in.

Shade sat up from the position he had fallen asleep in, now he rested his arm upon a pile of rocks to his right. He looked down at his Scythe and yawned. Shade was dressed in his armor all times. He didn't want to be caught unaware and be slain in an instant. Shade was waiting for the blade of his scythe to change to the crimson color to tell him that its power, and his, were fully charged once more.

Shade picked up his scythe, now a dull navy color, meaning it was almost fully charged, why the blade went from navy to maroon was something Shade didn't even know, nor did it bother him. Shade traversed a bit more into the cave to see if there was anything in it.

As Shade walked in the darkness he kept his scythe in grip, ready to defend against anything that might attack. Shade's breathing reverberated off the stone walls of the cave. The cave was one curving path from end to opening. Upon reaching the dead end Shade was in total darkness, the only thing that was illuminating the cave was the dull navy light emitted from the corner of the blade.

Shade turned to go back out and in the process of turning in the darkness, his blade tapped on the wall, the reverberations of this started an adrenaline rush in Shade, for Shade was unaware his blade had hit the wall and thought an intruder was in the cave. While Shade had his guard on and was focused on the path to the opening of the cave he was ignoring the color of his blade. It turned to it's crimson color and sent a shock down the staff and to Shade. Shade jumped and let out a small screech which reverberated loudly in the cave.

Shade stood still and listened to the sound, as it stopped silence was all that was left. A very incoherent humming was coming from the blade of his scythe. Shade looked at it and squeezed the staff with both hands. He could feel his powers coursing through his veins. He headed for the opening of the cave.

When Shade stepped out into the open he looked around. Quietus was silent, Shade wasn't sure if it was dawn or dusk by the colors of the sky. To Shade, time was becoming an illusion. A brisk wind picked up and rustled the leaves in the trees. Shade heard footsteps behind him, first walking and then into a run. Shade turned to see nothing. Suddenly, Shade was hearing footsteps all around him. The footsteps, Shade could tell, were coming from right in front of him, yet nothing was there. Shade had a thought jolt into him. He closed his eyes and focused his telepathic energy into his mind. He opened his eyes to see the ghosts of his family members gathered around him. Their mouths were moving but Shade could not hear their words. He looked at their lips moving and tried to make out what they were saying. Once more, Shade's blade glowed, but this time it levitated out of his hands and passed through each of his family members' ghost. Upon floating back into Shade's hands the blade once more had it's elemental powers, for it discharged elemental bonds though Shade. Shade's telepathy lessened, the apparitions vanished from Shade's sight and he heard the footsteps disperse around him. Shade readied himself for a long journey, he started off on his route to the Dark Continent. Shade looked at the sky, again, to see if it was almost morning or almost night. He still wasn't sure, he knew that he might be able to use this illusion of time to his advantage, but he knew not when. He put the thought in the back of his mind.

Volke was leaning against a tall tree that had long since dropped its leaves. He was growing tired of all this chaos. As much as he hated the gods for what they did to his family aand his home, he was jealous of the power and might they possessed.

He gave a slight sigh and unsheathed his dark dawn from its slumber. "Alas what to play...." Volke's heart was tangled in emotions and only the playing of his dark dawn could soothe it. He realized than what song to play. It was a melody his long deceased friend Sakuya had taught him. It was never given a name for the song was ineffible. Nothing could some up the magnitude and sheer power this melody had.

Volke looked to the sky, and saw only darkness in his mind.

"Perhaps its time I move along and try to end this game." In volke's mind, the longer he could stay alive without having to deal with any other people would be great. However, volke knew there was know way he could complete his mission on his own. "I guess I'll just have to deal with that problem when it comes along." Off he went, leaving the home of the alliance, and off towards a dark forest where he hoped it would lead him to the passage way to the next continent.

Gust leaned back lazily against the trunk of a thick tree. Avengus lay across his lap and he dozed watching the grass sway in the light breeze. He had headed out only a few days ago, and already he was bored, tired, and lost. He had gone into some forest and was walking circles before he knew it. He to think he could have brought a map and a compass with him.

"Not that it matters much anyway." He lifted his head up to stare at the leaves when one came to rest on his face. He brushed it off, huffed again in boredom, then slowly got to his feet. His enthusiasm at his task was slowly evaporating, and at this rate he would be back home in another week.

It was that kind of thinking that made him bare his teeth in frustration. If he didn't at least try, nobody else was going to. He wasn't some punk either, or at least he didn't think so. He was going to find his way out of this forest, get on a boat and head off the free the world.

"But first, a nap." And with that he climbed the tree, secured Avengus in the crook of a branch, and then nodded off laying down on a thick one high above the ground.

Within Luminus's center lied a building of monumental importance. This building was the Alliance's central headquarters; the place where all of the higher-ups made decisions regarding actions dealing with Ravenmane and Sarius, or the "Dark Gods". At the very front of these men stood a relatively young angel-demon hybrid known to the Alliance as "The Savior" and "The Melodious Hero". His current business with the higher-ups dealt with something that was widely considered a myth. "Gentlemen, let us be honest with ourselves. If the Dark gods were to hit Luminus with even a quarter of their full might, they would cause the fal; of society as we know it. No matter how many different weapons we innovate, no matter how many warriors we accumulate, no matter matter how many defensive propositions we initiate, the Dark Gods will always have a way to counter it. That is cold, hard, reality." The man said.

"Is your only business here to depress us, mr. Aduro?" One of the men commented.

"Not at all, commander. Actually, I may have found a way to discover the secret behind the Dark Gods." The young hybrid said.

At those words, the older men all slumped in their chairs even more. Many more credible sources had made claims as bold, and even bolder than, the statement Mr. Aduro had made. And every time, regardless of scenario, these claims were nearly impossible to back up. "Oh...?" The commander sarcastically questioned.

"Yes, sir. A way to discover such a way. I believe that I have discovered the location within the continent of Bogga in wh-" The young Mr. Aduro was cut off imediately.

"Mr. Aduro, I am certain that you know our stern stance on the Vhaz-Kri. They have never been proven to exist, and because of such will not be acknowledged as a way to defeat the dark gods." The commander said.

"But why, commander? They may be considered myth, but if they DID exist, and they COULD tell us the secret behind defeating the Dark Gods, then why do we persistently and fervently deny their existance!" The young hybrid boldly declared.

The men recoiled a bit. They were the alliance's upper echleon. The higher-ups. The big dogs, so to say. Never once had a person in a position as low as "The Melodious Hero" ever stood up to them in such a way. This youthful zeal caused the leader of the Alliance to raise his eyebrow. "You seem passionate in your claim, David... If that is the case, then attempting to convince you otherwise would be a waste of time... So, I will give you a chance. Take anyone of your choosing with you to Bogga, but you are not to return unless you have discovered the secret the Vhaz-Kri may posess." The Leader of the Alliance of Hope himself decreed.

With that, David bowed, and exited the room. Outside of the room sat his Violin, and his quiver of bows. He folded down his wings, allowing him to sling his quiver over his right shoulder, and picked up his Violin. His task would be daunting, and he needed an exceptionally powerful group to accomplish his ends. In his mind, his group was selected quickly. He had met three people whom he had known would be able to help him. So, he continued outside of the city of Luminus, settling within the forest. He drew a single bow, and placed it to the strings of his violin. Immediately afterward, he closed his eyes, and began to play. Not only did he play, but he amplified the sound so that it would be heard even around Quietus's coast. Regardless of how loud this music may have been, only three people could hear it: "Demon Eyes" Volke, "The Dark Flame" Shade Nightfire, and Gust Byson. The Violin produced a rather simple message, easy for the three to understand: meet me 10 kilometers from the entrance to Luminus.

Volke was sitting on a stump in the forest minding his own business until a familiar sound flooded his mind. A sound he wish he never heard. It was the melodious music from David's violin. The song bestowed upon Volke a message telling him to meet 10 kilometers from Luminus's entrance.

"I wonder what he wants..." Volke knew he would eventually have to deal with the other alliance members, but he didn't expect it so soon. Volke hadn't travelled very far since the other day and the entrance to Luminus wasn't a long distance away.

"Might as well get going. I wouldn't want to make him angry." Volke just smirked and headed back to the capital. He was in no rush to meet the others. He knew if anything, David would expect him to be late.

Shade walked on through the forest, the wind whistling in the trees. He had been traveling for, what seemed like eternity, and finally he saw the end of the forest.

He emerged from the trees and looked upon the outskirts of a city. He was not sure which one, for he knew not what direction he had traveled. All he knew was that being there ad a purpose. Shade headed for the city.

Gust had planned on a short nap when he had laid down on his branch. The fact is he probably would have slept for a week had a loud tune not shaken him awake. His eyes shot open and he rolled, right out of the tree. He fell a good 15 feet before coming to land on his back, knocking the wind out of him.

When he regained his breath he let out a few curses before slowly getting up. It was at this point he realized Avengus was still in the tree. With a sigh of discontent he climbed back up it, retrieved his blade, and climbed back down. he cleaned off the few bugs that had made their homes while he had slept, slipped it into its sheath on his back, and then turned.

The tune had come from Luminus. How he knew that was beyond him, considering he was supposed to be lost. But he figured he might as well. Only one man he knew could do such a thing with music, and he would like the help. So withouit a thought he began his trek towards the meeting point.

To Volke's dismay, he arrived early. He didnt see anyone else there. "Of all my rotten luck." Volke figured to deal with is earliness by thinking to himself till the others arrived. He sat down at the base of a giant tree where he wondered how the group would travel to the other continents.

"Eventually walking will be out of the question." Then an idea started to seep into his head. They could all ride on Volke's dragon. Volke decided to leave that option under the "if we have to category". He thought that perhaps the others would have another mode of transportation. Volke slowly began to fall asleep from his own thoughts. Eventually he succumbed to slumber, and figured the others would wake him up when they arrive.

Shade was now nearer to the city's walls. He could sense the danger within. He was unsure if he should venture in alone. Shade decided against going in without at least one other ally. He turned about face and headed back to the grove from which he had emerged.

Upon clearing the city limits Shade could make out the presence of another being withing his vicinity. He drew his scythe and crept silently, in an almost floating kind of way. The feeling grew more intense as Shade approached a giant Oak. He had figured he had a 75% chance of it being an enemy and a 25% chance of it being an ally. He crept silently around the tree as to not stir the being.

Upon seeing the other side of the tree, Shade could see a resting body. He still held his scythe ready to attack and demanded in a somewhat loud voice, "State your alliance!" If he pleaded to be a friend he would stand down, but if he was an enemy he would attack.

Ziek woke up to a rather loud voice asking him a question. Ziek was in a foul mood that he had just been woken up by a stranger. Without fully thinking he shot a fire ball knocking the man back.

"Don't you know its rude to wake someone up while there peacefull sleeping." As his eyes started o focus on the man, Ziek started to think, and then it him. "I'm guessing David called you over here too. Well to answer your question, ally. Sorry about the fireball." He leaned back against the tree. "No use in sleeping agai, now that you woke me up." With a yawn he pulled out his Dark Dawn and began to play some somber music. He could only hope that the rest of the invities weren't going to be like this one.

Shade had hit a tree, the force he was shot back with had made the spiked armor he wore stick into the tree. Shade grew enraged which summoned forth his fire elemental power and set the tree into flames but his armor's elemental properties kept him from catching fire or even feeling the heat.

Upon touching down on earth again Shade summoned forth a water elemental and doused the flaming tree... which was now bare of leaves and somewhat twisted. He walked over to the Ally, "Sorry to have woken you, however had I been an enemy to you, you might not have been lucky enough to have been woken up first."

The ally had begun to play music. Shade climbed into the Giant Oak and looked towards the city he was headed for. He could only imagine the danger that awaited them.

About an hour's walk had gotten Gust safely out of the forest. Of course it had taken a bit more effort then he would have thought, but that was what he got for getting lost in the first place. As the trees lessened, the towering walls of Luminus became more pronounced. Even though he was several kilometers from the city itself, it was a magnificent thing to look at. Knowing it was a useless bastion of hope was probably the most demoralizing thing a soldier could think about.

A small commotion made itself known to him, and he angeld his path in that direciton. Passing beyond more trees and large bushes he found a path which led him directly to two others. One was now in a tree, the other upon the ground playing a harmony. Though, not the one that had called him.

'Ok, now where is my summoner?' he thought expectantly.

The trek to the location he had assigned was significantly more arduous that David had anticipated at first. It was not only a ridiculously long distance, but it was over rather harsh, torn ground. Because of this, David had to watch his step, preventing him fron running full speed. When he started to close in on his location, he stood still, closing his eyes. He made his aura more flexible, allowing it to stretch out, scanning the location. He noticed that there were three men, all within a close perimeter of each other. He also noticed that one of them was playing an instrument. The final thing he noticed was that the flowers on the branches of the trees had bloomed, revealing their glistening white petals. He smirked.

He clapped his hands together, causing a loud sound wave to reverbirate outwards. Afterwards, he drew a bow from his quiver, positioned his violin in a comfortable position, and began to play a peaceful serenade. He altered the sound waves produced, making them loud enough to cause the petals to rain down as he walked towards the three men, but not loud enough to cause pain to their ears. He began to walk their way, his wings tucked back, his eyes closed, a serene smile on his face. He looked like a person at peace. *I probably look ridiculously awesome right now.* He thought, all whilst thanking the ancient ones that none of the men he summoned were telepaths.

Upon his arrival, he concluded the serenade, placing the bow back in its quiver. He opened his eyes, looking at the three men. "Long time, no see." He said, nonchalantly, hoping to ease the tension in the air.

"While usually, now I would give a long-winded, motivating speech about how There is something at hand that must be done, and how we cannot fail, none of have that kind of time to waste, so i'll make this short." He said, seriously.

"One way or another, all of us have had some kind of negative encounter with the dark gods. Be it through lineage," He looked at Gust. "Or through loss of family." He looked towards Shade and Volke.

"And, after much thought, I have decided that now is the time to act against them."

He chose to pause, knowing full-well that most, if not all, of the three men before him were about to consider him dangerously idealistic, along with completely and totally insane. "Now, my method for dealing with the dark gods requires something incredibly dangerous to be done. As such, should you choose to accompany me, we will be making our way to a continent containing a race that knows how to defeat the Dark Gods..."

He knew that they all knew what continent he was referring to, but he chose to state it in the name of conclusion. "That continent is the unexplored Bogga, and the race is the Vhaz-Kri." He continued. "I will tell you this know, victory is not a guarantee... We will surely end up encountering someone or something that will want to hinder our progress. The least I can say is that due to the fact that the Dark Gods do not believe in the Vhaz-Kri, they themselves will probably not lift a finger to stop us. So then, are any of you in?" He said, putting his right hand out, palm facing the ground.

Shade listened to the David's monologue. Not to long after he summoned forth an air elemental and water elemental and created a cloud which could bare his weight. He hovered down from the tree and hopped off his cloud transport. He looked at the three other members with him. They all seemed capable of defeating stronger enemies. However, Shade sensed something that said they were not invincible.

Shade paced back and forth as the others did whatever they were doing. Shade heard the ghostly footsteps again and he looked around, but they only belonged to a raccoon that was sneaking up on him. Shade pointed the palm of his hand at the creature and summoned forth a fire elemental which shot out a scorched the creature. Shade then summoned an air elemental which carried the smell of burnt fur into the forest.

He walked back to the three others and looked out towards the city. "Well, what are we waiting for?"

Volke looked down at the group momentarily and looked back up at the sky. His music playing had stopped and he jumped down from the tree landing on his feet. "No offense but I just came to see the people I'd have to be working with." Volke walked away a couple feet and looked out into the forest.

"I was never really the type for travelling in groups." A zephyr of wind blew across past the tree. Volke's hair and cape slightly swayed along with the branches."Besides, I have other things to attend to so I'll have to meet you in the other continet."

Volke drew his dark dawn and played a different tune this time and a black portal opened in the sky. A large roar bellowed out of the portal and a large black winged dragon emerged in front of them. Volke jumped on top the dragon and looked back to the others. "I'll probably find you before you find me." With his parting words, Volke beckoned the dragon to fly off, and the dragon did as he was commanded.

Anxious to get on with his adventure, Shade set his a mental lock on the movements of the dragon. Shade held his hands in a position similar to praying and the staff of his scythe was held perpendicular to the ground between his palms. He closed his eyes and murmured some words to himself and he vanished in a puff of smoke and reappeared at a much higher altitude and set off after his target, for he was not going to fight any battles without a companion near by, and one his senses tell him had known sometime in a previous life.

Achirion let out a roar of agony and volke picked up on the fact that he was being followed.

"I guess some people don't know how to take a hint.." His demonic eyes beamed as thoughts began to seep into volke's head."Alas, I can't kill him...atleast not permanently. Achirion when i jump off i suggest you return to the dragon realm."

Volke stood up and turned around to face his would be follower. He murmured to himself and said "Flash Rave." Volke got a running start off of achirion at a high speed and then jumped diagonally up. This would get him to his follower fast enough before he would eventually fall.

As he got within range, Volke's devil hand began to give off suddle vibrations. When he got close enough he used the devil hand's open palm to deliver a palm thrust to the torso where the heart is located. The high frequencies in his hand gave off sound waves that travel through the body and impact the heart.

Volke smirked to himself. He knew what was going to happen soon. The sudden jump in heart rate would soon cause the heart to shutdown temporarily. It would kick back in, in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately for his follower, he would be left gasping for air long enough for volke to make an escape.

And escape volke did. He used his dark dawn to play a tune known as the minuet of surf. It transported him to his long forgotten and destroyed hometown.

Normally tensions were high within Seraveyna. Rebels were normally planning the downfall of Ravenmane, Civilians were normally fearing for their lives while feigning apathy towards the current situation. Today, however, there was nothing but fear.

In Ravenmane's citadel, Ularin and Diliris entered a room in which nurses ran in and out of. Upon entering, Ularin said "You got your ass kicked, Tai-Kuun."

"Excellent subtlety, Ularin..." Diliris said, expressing disdain.

Tai-Kuun coughed, causing blood to stain his shirt. "You... Would not have... Faired... Any better... Ularin..." Tai-Kuun said, weakly.

"Oh yeah!" Ularin barked, angrily.

"Yeah." Ravenmane said, sitting in a chair in the corner of the room, his presence hidden. "You see, Ularin, Tai-Kuun's opponent was one of the most powerful beings in Gyratino as a whole..."

Diliris shuddered for a moment. "So Tai-Kuun's opponent was..."

Ravenmane nodded, an evil grin on his face. "Oh, and Diliris..." He said, casually. "I would like you to take a trip to Helcrai. I would like you to relay a message to Sarius for me."

Diliris bowed. "It would be my honor." He said.

"the message is this: I have subdued 'him'." He said, cryptically.

From there, he stood up, walking out of the room, confident that Diliris would not question the message, and would instead relay the message rather quickly. He then proceeded down several corridors until he reached the room containing Tai-Kuun's opponent: "The Destroyer" Valde Everto. Ravenmane glanced the creature's way, noting that it was still unconscious... It would serve its purpose soon... From there, Ravenmane looked down upon a map he had enchanted. He looked down at a town that was destroyed years earlier, and noticed that a yellow dot was in the center of the town, signifying that someone of moderate power was located there. So, he drew his blade, Animus Messor. "Obscurum Porta..." He whispered, slashing the blade down.

Moments later, a large black hole appeared in front of the Dark God. He walked through, into the darkness, emerging just outside of a condemned building. He entered, spotting the person who he was looking for. "I have a favor to ask of you... Xylus..." He said, approaching the figure.
