Well, here he is, Homer "Hurricane" Shockey and his 57 Chevy Stocker. Homer says racin' is more expensive than it was when he last raced. He claims to have spent "durn near $300 " getting his ride ready for the series. Homer states: " I had the 327 in a crate so I didn't have to buy a motor. I bought some headers, never used em before. I wired it up and painted the old gal and put on some of those "Blooey Pipes" I see those other guys have. I'm ready to go!"![]() ![]() Owner/Driver: Homer Shockey, Brushy Okla. Sponsor: Coldernell Cold Storage and McCoy Used Tires. Crew: Herb Smoot, Nickey Soap and Daniel Sevenstar Engine: 1965 RPO L84 327 Chevy. Car: Well used up 57 chevy built by Homer. |

Ordinarily I am insane, but I do have lucid moments where I am merely stupid. I never TRY to hit another car. But when I do I make sure its a Prius. | |
