This is the 4 Aces owned by Carl Tice and driven by Leroy Felty in 1958. The car raced at Port Royal speedway in Port Royal, Pa. The races were sanctioned from 1950 to 1963 by Penn Central Racing Association. This was a racing club that leased the speedway from the fair association. The rules were fairly open and Leroy was one of the last to continue using the Ford flathead engine. Leroy was the first driver to turn a lap under 28 seconds at the full half mile speedway, and he did it with the flathead with three carburetors.. Later in the season the flathead was replaced with a Ford overhead valve engine. This car had one of the most attractive paint jobs in the history of Penn Central Racing Association.

To answer Dave's question.

The car never ran with just four aces, it always had the number 4 with the four aces.

The car started out with the red and white paint scheme and later changed to an all black car with 4 aces. The red and white was much nicer.
