This is the place to enter the 2016 Southern Fryed Drag Tour. Please place at least 2 but not more than 4 pictures of your drag car here (no on trailer photos) along with the following info;

1. car
2. driver and crew
3. owner/team
4. sponsor info
5. history and etc.

Please post at least one 3/4 front view and one side view of your car shot with a plain white background.

Like last year, you will have to furnish your quarter mile ET and MPH that you obtain from the following site. This is necessary so that I don't over nor underestimate the potential of your entry.

Calculate your ET and MPH here.

Just input your car's weight and flywheel HP, then hit the calculate button. Your entry will be considered incomplete without this information.

Just build, or substantially rebuild, an entry for the 2016 Southern Fryed Drag tour. The 2017 SNRA Southern Fryed Drag tour is open to any newly built or rebuilt, purpose built drag racing car or truck. We are hoping for new, purpose built cars this year. Post your "work in progress" in the Drag forum of the Scale Racing Lobby Only completed entries go in replys here.

NO bracket racers nor motorcycles will be accepted this year.

Our seventh SFDT season will start on Feb. 11, 2017. Feel free to ask any questions.

Has a checkered past.

Stand on it....brakes only slow yoou down.

After a frustrating 2016 with the Terrible Topolino competition coupe, "Speed" Smith and The Professor are trying a radically different combination, the ultralight "Little Feather" Jr. Fueler, the notorious giant-killing hole-shot artist from 1964, freshly restored by HRA and ready to race. Headed southward to L.A.D.S. as we speak.

"Little Feather" Junior Fuel Dragster
Entrant: Historic Racing Associates
Driver: Paul D. "Speed Merchant" Smith
Crew: Robert C. "The Professor" Post
Motor: 310 Cu. In. Aluminum Small Block "Chevy"
ET:7.83 seconds
Trap Speed: 171.12 MPH
Weight (+160 lbs. for driver): 860
HP: 420 @6800 RPM (on 90% Nitro)

HRA generally enters a second car in the SFDT, but this year unfortunately, because of the last-minute thrash on the Little Feather we missed the first round. But starting with Round 2 at Firebird last year's overall winners, Ed "ET" Foot and mechanic Timmy J. will be back with our second car, the No. 4 Tin Box B/Fuel competition coupe. Unblown with 8-97's and running 80% Nitro we're gambling on some well-judged hole-shots to make the grade.

No.4 "Tin Box" B/Fuel Competition Coupe
Entrant: Historic Racing Associates
Driver: L. Edward "ET" Foot
Crew: Timmy J.
Motor: 392 Cu. In. Dodge Hemi
ET: 8.72 seconds
Trap Speed: 153.61 MPH
Weight (+160 lbs. for driver): 1250
HP: 420 @6800 RPM (on 80% Nitro)

Wisdom, I am really glad you put together the series again! :)))

The field is a little smaller, but again terribly beautiful and full of incredibly engineered cars. Can't wait to see how everybody does! rlr
