Here is the entry area for Dirtrack Dave's First Pop's Memorial WingFling!
This race is a Lobby and SNRA approved event though not part of any SNRA series but, like any SNRA race, is open to anyone that choses to enter. It is under the sole promotion of dirttrackdave.

As Dirtrack Dave put it, the rules are ANY 6 or 8 cylinder oval track race car with a wing, so, practically as open comp as imaginable. While sprints, supermods, skeeters would be naturals for the race, a late model or Nascar modified, for instance, could simply have a wing dry mounted on the car for photo purposes, Dave won't tell! That's it!

The race will be held on November 26, 2016, the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Weedsport Speedway, Weedsport, NY and snow will be plowed if necessary. :))) Weedsport is a 5/8 mile 11 degree banked dirt oval. All will be issued Hoosier track tires, restarts will be double file, and the race length will be 50 laps excluding caution laps. Sixes will start in front of the eights.

To enter, as per normal Lobby practice, post at least 2 but not more than 4 photos of your entry, with info. including the name and hometown of the driver
(real people only as Dave is preparing a small award and there needs to be somebody to receive it, lol)owner, pit crew, sponsors, description of the car and any other fun information you might see fit and you're in!
If there are any questions, contact dirttrackdave.
Good Luck! :)))

Chassis: scratchbuilt, copied from a Tognotti design
Engine: either a Buick or Pontiac depending upon how you look at it, with six deuces
Body & Wing: from Tom (USMC E5) representing a shortened 30-32 sedan
Driver: Ricky Johnson
Owner: Sang Johnson (better-half and comptroller of purse strings)
Sponsor: Highlander Bar & Grill in Daytona (found the decal in a box of scraps)
Crew: Odell - fabricator
Creeb - engines (although he really prefers FORDs)
Li'l Tom - tires and chassis
Boffo the wonder-dog - marks territory and keeps everyone on their toes with surprises on the shop floor.

Here is a picture of the scratchbuilt chassis and tubing:
