I had to delete the original post due to the photos being to large.
Figured out what I did......... my bad ..//..

OK, try it again.

Here is some progress I have made on my entry for the new season....
Getting there. Body is pretty close, trying to get the windows to fit well enough to make me happy.
It'll be a Chevy #2. No spy photos of the body just yet.

Still have a little flogging, glass and a few details.
But, it's getting there.......

That ol sled is coming along pretty good! Nice to know I am not the only one that chose resale red for some color. I would like to know how you got those 180's jammed in there with all that firewall I see in the other photos!! Are you going to run two cars this year or just this one? I figured I would cobble up a beater for dirt this time and use the Olds on pavement. It don't matter much though, I figure we will own 15th thru 21st again this year. At least we're consistent!
Ordinarily I am insane, but I do have lucid moments where I am merely stupid.
I never TRY to hit another car. But when I do I make sure its a Prius.

Thanks, Gordon. :))) :)))

Lefty, yea, they had that old "Berry red" on sale at Lowe's a while back, looks decent with the silver.
As far as the 180s go..... since I'm gonna run just one car this season, the 180s will be in there on the short tracks and the big tracks will have the standard headers. Got the raised floor plus a panel in the firewall that's easy to change.
Who knows, we may get lucky this year..... I found a 4 leaf clover the other day and taped it to the dash in the ol' aluminum, I mean Lumina car :P

Hondo...that Lumina has a mean fast look to it, as the ole Luminas could make it around the track back in the day.

Really enjoy viewing your build, thanks for taking us through the teaser phases one by one.

And the colors chosen really make this ride stand out in the field this year.

Spot on Hondo, nicely done sir!
